Actress “Jik” Naowarat Yooktanan, the woman who plays Stefan’s comedic mother who is crazy about Korean dramas in the currently airing lakorn “Kulap Neua Mek (Roses above the cloud)”, has taken these semi-nude pictures as a form of print advertisement for her new cosmetic line, some sort of anti-aging cream product. Jik plans to advertise, using these photos, in Taiwan and several other countries.
She has invested 10 million baht ($302,343 USD) in this project and doesn’t care what society will think, she cares about the money she might lose if it fails. “I’m afraid (referring to the question that society might think ill of her), but I’m more afraid that my invested assets might be blown away like the wind. How it turns out, I have to accept it. I’m not cheating anyone to make a living, this is from own creation and my sweat. The clothes in the photos are the sexist I have ever worn in my entire life. It’s my first and my last,” said Jik.
Reporters asked Jik if she is doing this for fame.
“The name ‘Naowarat’ will not be anymore famous than this. It’s up to interpretation. If someone views it as indecent, then it’s indecent. If they view it as normal, then it’s normal. I am my own person. I’m not causing a problem for society,” answered Jik. She has spunk, you have to give her credit for that.
Jik is known for her skill in getting attention from the media, just look at her at award shows, she dresses absurdly for a reason–> obviously to get media attention. Yea, I know I’m just stating the obvious. Case in point, people are noticing similarities between Jik’s photos for her cosmetic line and Aum Atichart’s appearance on the cover of LIP magazine for their November 2009 issue. Did Jik copy Aum Atichart’s LIP magazine cover? I doubt it, her photos suit what she is selling.
As for Aum Atichart, he has not seen Jik’s photos and said he could not give an opinion. He did say that people can do whatever they want.
Yes, she looks pretty decent in these photos. But lets get real, it’s airbushed.
For a woman who could be in her 60s or late 50s, she has a nice body.
Come to think of it, Aum reminds me of Bruno, the movie about the gay Palestinian trying to make it big on fashion and TV… Yuks! Lynn please don’t remind us of this awful pic of Aum again… just when I’ve erased it out of my mind! Thanks in advance.
When I was young I watch her movies. She is a great actress! Jik still look the same in her young days. At that age, man, she look wonderful! I pretty sure when we are at her age I don’t know if we will be like her. It’s true everyone is copying everyone but it’s never the same. It is good to know that Jik doesn’t care what peoples think because she is more worry for her product than peoples who critize her pictures.
I too agree with xox n liberty. As for brenda, this woman has not done anything wrong. She’s not doing this for playboy or porn; she’s just advertising her products and in a very classy way! There are so many actresses that pretend to be all that innocent in front of public but turn out to be a whore! And for ANONYMOUS, who doesn’t want fame and money?! As long as she’s doing in a legal and ethical way!

Love her for her gutsiness and gungho attitude. As they say, if U have it, flaunt it! She certainly looks good for her age… even some actresses 10 years younger look worst! No wonder she’s napping all those cute young hotties! Would like to be like her when I’m her age… she lives life to the fullest, and that’s what it is, isn’t it? Who cares about what people says! ( She does reminds me a bit of Cher… in her attitude and dress-sense)

I think she has 2-3 kids (all boys I think). She used to live in Southern California and I saw her once (about 20+ years ago) at a local Thai market. She was really cute and wasn’t wearing any make-up. She had great skin.

i doubt she “copied” aum. there are times when you do something you really want, and later find out that someone around you too did it. Get real. And even if she Did, she did a goodass job at i and also the photo shopping

Okay, so when Aum’s cover came out, it said Aum copied Demi Moore, and now Jik is copying Aum?? How lame. I guess everyone’s copying everyone then. lol. But I think Jik’s photos are quite well. I like the photos because I don’t think they’re nude in a dirty, sexual way. Instead, they’re nude in a sensual, subtle, pretty way. ( :
Sorry, but being sexy doesn’t always require someone to be nearly nude in photos…to be sexy naturally is better
great photoshopping skills they’ve done. not only did she spend a lot on the photos, but she spent a lot on her face. Come on, as good as she looks for her age, you know she’s got something done or had something injected.
Jik looks better than Aum in the pose above. Don’t get me wrong, he’s got a nice body and all but that pose is just wrong for a guy.

They actually did a nice job photoshopping.
However, she does look good at her age.
Everytime I see this picture of Aum it makes me cringe. @_@
