“Pei” Parnward Hemmanee broke up with her younger boyfriend R. Arnuttaphol Sirichomsaeng (R: the Star) not too long ago because he was too immature. Now the 30 year old Pei is dating someone younger than R, 22 year old actor ‘Bik’ Tongpoom Siriphiphat from the film ‘Yak Dai Yin Wah Ruk Gan (Want to hear that you love me, อยากได้ยินว่ารักกัน, Eng title: Best Supporting Actor)’.

From what I can remember, their relationship became apparent to the public when Bik’s debuting film was coming out in theaters. Initially, I thought their relationship was a publicity stunt and they kept saying they are just in the “getting to know each other” stage. Now after a few weeks (I think it has been 4 weeks), they have opened up to Opps! magazine, they are official now. That was quick.

What’s the status of your relationship?

Bik:”We are getting to know each other better. She is not like what you see on TV, she’s more fierce (smiles).”

Pei lets out a cry and says “Bah (Crazy)!” and smiles. “We have very different personalities. It’s almost like we can fight each other. We are from different poles.”

So we can say that you’re really seeing each other?

Bik:”Yes, we are seeing each other krab.”

How did that happened?

Pei:”I have never known Bik before, just a person told me that a young kid wants to get to know me. Back then when I realized how young he was, I didn’t want to talk to him. But I gave him try, just to see how he would be like. After talking to each other, I felt good about it. He was himself since the beginning. There was no form.”

What made you decide to see Bik?

Pei:”Love. The last time my relationship ended because I wanted security. Now that I am dated someone younger, many will wonder if I can get the security I was longing for.  I just want to tell you that he more mature than his age. He may look young, but after talking to him he is wiser than some of the people his age. He doesn’t act childish at all.”

How is dating older women better?

Bik:”I don’t like immature girls. I like someone who is older, who can think for herself. What if one day, I’m not around, she must be able to take care of herself. I’m not saying that when we are together, she has to completely do everything on her own. I would still have to be a good boyfriend. She just have to be able to take care of herself when I’m not around. She has to be able to care for my child.”–I don’t think he has a kid, I think he means in the future.

What is your hopes for this relationship?

Bik:”I want to date someone till the end. I don’t want to change. I want to choose and have it be that. I don’t like just in case and I want it to be for a long time.”

What do you think about when you’re with Pei?

“I want the person I’m seeing to have it easy and I think I can take care of her. I’m a guy who can wash clothes with his hands, can cook rice, can mop, can cook, can wipe someone’s body. If one day we are old and you would ask who would be the healthier person in this relationship, I would be, thus I would be the person who would care of her.”

At this point, Pei is so touched, she tears up.
