Taddao Bussaya: Ep 4 Caps Part 2

Sutad, just hilarious. Frowns, awww, we’re not going yet?

Jao Noi:”From the looks of things, you seem very eager to go to the Bussaya house. Once you’re there, you might not like it.”

Frown turns to eager smiles. “Why wouldn’t I like it? I’ll like it. If there is work to do and I can earn money, I will like it.”–gosh she is hyper. So early in the morning too.

Completed. No, I didn’t read through it yet.

Ah, the day has arrived, it’s time to head out to Bangkok to the Bussaya house. Sutad wakes up early, makes coffee for Jao Noi and waits for help to wake up in his room. So funny.

Jao Noi wakes up, sees the coffee cup, looks up, sees Sutad in his room.

Jao Noi:”E-TAD!”

Sutad beaming:”Coffee for you!”

Jao Noi:’what time is it?”

Sutad:”it’s 6. I will quickly cook something for you. What do you want, porridge? Eggs? I’ll prepare both.”

She runs out, he calls her back. “You don’t have too.”

Sutad:”Why?”

Jao Noi asked why she has woken up so early.

Sutad:”Because you like to leave early on trips.”

Oh he gets it.

Tauntingly, he says he wants to leave later in the day or maybe in the evening. Bummed, Tad frowns. Not leaving yet.

Noticing her frown, he asked, “From the looks of things, you seem very eager to go to the Bussaya house. Once you’re there, you might not like it.”

The frown turns to eager smiles. “Why wouldn’t I like it? I’ll like it. If there is work to do and I can earn money, I will like it.”

Before scurrying off, she tells him to hurry up and get change.

Jao Noi informs Tiang, she can’t go nor can Bang. The reason, he feels guilty entrusting Sutad with the Bussaya family, he doesn’t want to burden them with another person. Tiang said she doesn’t care about the money, she will go there for free. She just wants to go with Sutad, she can’t leave her.

Jao Noi doesn’t understand her concern. “Tiang, don’t worry about Tad, he’s old enough now. Most importantly, if he is accepted by the Bussaya family, I guarantee you he will be safe.”

Tiang can’t do it. She wants to go along. Jao Noi’s solution, no one goes.

Because she needs to investigate her father’s Will,  Sutad pleads with him. “I have to go to the Bussaya house. I have to work there.”

She runs back to Tiang. “You don’t have to worry about me. I can take care of myself.”

Tiang agrees. “I understand.”

“Jao, Jao, I entrust you with Tad,” Tiang says to Jao Noi.

The two women hug.

Jao Noi tells Bang he gets a strange vibe from Tiang and Sutad, they don’t seem like Aunt and nephew. He thinks they might be mother and son. This worries Bang. Tiang has been with another man before him. NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Get over dude, this not the middle ages or even the 50s or ever, people have sex before marriage.

Khun Ying Boot learns she has signed the wrong document. She has been deceiving in signing her share of the company to Deun. NUMCHUCKS!

Deun thanked her mother-in-law for handing over her share of the company and signing away all of Khun Din’s money to her.

Deun:”Mom, you did the right thing because truthfully, you won’t be here long to use that money.”

Deun’s younger siblings Tem and Witoon can’t believe it. Their sister is just despicable, they  can only watch helplessly from afar.

Khun Ying Boot blames her beloved grandson Taem, he brought her the documents to sign, he was part of the plan.”Taem, I can’t believe you can do this to me.”

Taem denies it. “I brought the documents from your lawyer not mom.”

Khun Ying Boot left and Taem yelled his mother. “Mom, you change the documents didn’t you? How can you do something so horrible. I can’t believe it.”

Taem follows Khun Ying Boot to her room. He apologizes to her. “Grandmother, I know nothing of this really!”

She doesn’t believe him. She kicks him out. “I can’t trust anyone anymore. Since Din has passed, I have no one now.”

Taem:”You have to believe me, I cannever hurt you grandmother. I will resolve this issue, I will not mom do wrong.”

Khun Ying Boot:”How can resolve this when all my assets belong to her now. I have nothing left. Soon I won’t even have a place to sleep.”

She throws a pillow at him.

Khun Ying Boot:”Just leave, go have fun, don’t bother with me. I have nothing to give you.”

She starts crying. Taem cries too. “Grandmother please don’t say that.”

Tem and Witoon gang up on Deun. Does she not have shame, they asked her. How can she steal all of Khun Din’s fortune– from his company, to his money, and the house of Bussaya.

Deun argues that she is doing the right thing, Khun Din’s fortune is rightfully her because she was his wife.

Witoon disagrees. “But that doesn’t include Khun Ying’s assets too. He deceived her in signing away her assets, that’s illegal. You can go to jail. Just return everything to Khun Ying.”

Deun won’t do it. She doesn’t fear Khun Ying Boot will alert the authorities because aristocrats fear humiliation.

Deun:’Or will you report me yourself. I want to see a person like you will betray gratitude from someone like me. The reason why you have a good job, a big house to live in, because of who? Isn’t it because of me? I have done everything for both of you but you have never sided with me. NEVER. Do you understand me.”

Tem:’Personally, I think you are doing it all for yourself. If you think you are doing the right thing, we can’t say anything more, can we Witoon? Right now, we can only let karma handle it. Whatever karma a person created, they will receive that karma.”

Deun:”But I fear that karma will not affect only one person, we will never know if it will affect our children or grandchildren.”

Taem:”Grandmother, you are my grandmother.  I have never wanted anything advantageous from you. Please believe me.”

Khun Ying Boot:”Taem, from now on, I will only trust myself. Everyone in this house is like a venomous snake. Let your guard down, it strikes.”

Khun Ying Boot collapses in her room out of distress. Taem is there to witness the whole thing.

At the hospital, only Taem, Witoon, and Tem are concern about Khun Ying Boot. Taem blames himself for not reading the documents for his grandmother.

His uncle and Tem try to console him by saying he shouldn’t blame himself.  They  should blame Deun.

Tom is just disgusted she has to be at the hospital.She complained, she is smelling like the hospital. It’s icky. She leaves first.

After Tom left, everyone learns that Khun Ying Boot suffered a stroke.

Finally, Sutad and Jao Noi arrived at the Bussaya house. They learn from the servants, Khun Ying Boot has collapsed and everyone is at the hospital. Jao Noi is going to the hospital to visit them, Sutad begs to go along too. But Jao Noi doesn’t allow it.

Inside the Bussaya, she looks at a picture of her father, the family’s portraits. She sees the picture she drew of her father framed and hung on the wall. She looks at it. “Dad, you have not forgotten me. Dad, I’m here now. I’m here at our house,’ she says.

Sutad befriending one of the servants at the Bussaya house. The girl finds Sutad handsome, she instantly falls for Sutad.

Servant girl On, “my name is On, I don’t have a boyfriend yet. Do you have a girlfriend yet?”

She gives Sutad a tour of the house.

Deun wants to leave. No one else does. As she is about to head out, Jao Noi arrives. Deun pretends to be concern about Khun Ying Boot with Jao Noi, Witoon is disgusted by her behavior. Tem and Taem are disgusted too.

Deun playing the pity card, she starts to cry. “I’m afraid, what will happen to her.”

Jao Noi, not knowing the whole story, consoles her. Doctors are good at what they do. Major surgery has become minor surgery, it’s safer now.

Looked who arrived, Saengkham came to the hospital too.

Ew, Sutad met Tom for the first time, she’s a b*atch. Tom looked down on Sutad because she will be working at the Bussaya  house as a servant.

Tom smiled when she learned Jao Noi is here too. She wants to get herself ready for him.

At the hospital, Jao Noi and Saengkham have a chat at the lobby.

Jao Noi:”If I didn’t bring a kid to entrust the Bussaya with, I wouldn’t have met you. I have missed you.”

Saengkham:”What kid?”

Jao Noi:”A kid from my farm, who wants to find work in Bangkok, so I brought him here to entrust with Witoon.”

Saengkham can’t believe it. He has more time for some kid than her.

Saengkham:”You have the time to bring a kid here but you don’t have the time to call me?”

Jao Noi apologizes. “The truth is I wanted to call you several times but stopped myself. I don’t want to say something that might make you feel uneasy.”

Saengkham:”It’s okay. Even if you called, I probably wouldn’t have the time to call you. Right now, I’m looking at options to start my own business.”

Jao Noi can’t believe it. “What business are you doing? You have never started up a business. Do you think you can handle it?”

Hurt by his lack of confidence, Saengkham exerts her own confidence. “I think I can do it. Even you who has never worked on a farm, you can do it. It’s not just you who has a drive. I have a dream too. Or do you think that your dreams are bigger than other people’s?”

Jao Noi:”Why are you saying that? You are speaking as if I am selfish. I’m not like that. I  have thought  about you of you a lot. You are the only woman I care about.”

Saengkham doubts it. ‘Really? Then why don’t I feel like I’m that woman to you.” —burn.

She leaves him.

After the surgery, the doctor is not sure if Khun Ying Boot will be handicap. Deun is annoyed by that possibility, who will care for Khun Ying Boot now.

Sutad is hired by Deun a favor from Jao Noi.

Just the two of us? No way and oh no.

Jao Noi shows Sutad the place where they are staying at. It’s the Bussaya guest house. Jao Noi will live upstairs and Sutad will live on the first floor. She can’t believe it. Just the two of them.

Sutad:’We are living in the same house? Just the two of us?”

Jao Noi:”Yea, what’s wrong with that?”

Sutad quietly,”oh it’s nothing.’

Jao Noi:”Or is that you can’t sleep without Tiang.”

She doesn’t answer.

Jao Noi looks for a solution to make Sutad feel more comfortable. “Lets do this, you can sleep with me in my room on the floor.”—No buddy, she doesn’t want to do that.

Sutad declines the offer.

Taem and Sutad met for the first time, he tells her, you look very familiar.

Tom being obnoxious with Jao Noi. Blah, blah, blah. Tom wants Jao Noi to stay for several days, if not, she threatened make her mother change her mind about Sutad. That scared Sutad. She just got hired, she doesn’t want get fired.

Ya,  ya, they continue to torture this poor man.

Chert learns that Deun has hired a new servant, he is worried, what if that person is Taddao. Deun argues the kid is a boy not a girl.

Because Puang is not responding her mystery medicine, Deun looks up and says, “I think I need to change the medicine.”

On congratulates Sutad on the hire. They talk about work and how Sutad might have to wash women clothes. This is a disgrace for a guy. Sutad doesn’t mind. “We did come from a woman anyhow,” she tells On.

“Men are nonsensical,” Sutad added, forgetting she is pretending to be a boy right now.

“I mean, men who think that way are nonsensical,” she corrected herself.

They hug  because Sutad agreed to call On his nong.

Jao Noi sees them hugging, he is not happy.

Jao Noi gives Sutad a warning. “You’re something. On just the first day, you have a woman attached to you already. I want to tell you something, before you court someone, examine it carefully, does she have an owner already. If not, you might be screwed without knowing it.”

Sutad:’I'm not courting her, we were just talking about work.”

Jao Noi sarcastically with a friendly smile, “I believe you earnestly.”

They walk back together.

Jao Noi:”Do you think you can stay here?”

Of course, she tells him.

Jao Noi:”Working here, won’t be like working at the farm. At the farm, you only had me as your master. Here, you have 6 masters which includes Khun Ying at the hospital. It’s not about just doing a good job, it’s about rising yourself up too. Whether you get scolded or how bad they insult you, you have to endure. Can you do it?”

Sutad:”I think I can. I believe that I’m your people now. I won’t disappoint you.”

Jao Noi:”Now that you believe that you are my people, you have to prepare yourself. Prepare yourself very much, whatever they tell you to do, you have to do it. You have to do it to your utmost best. Just like what you did with me. Then they will adore you. Do you understand me?”

Sutad said yes.

Jao Noi:”I’m happy for you that you have found work that you wanted. But remember this, if you face something troubling, just come to me.”

Sutad is touched by his kindness, she gives him a respectable wai to his chest. She cries.

Jao Noi laughs at him. “Are you really that happy to find work?’

Sutad:”I’m just thankful of you. I’m thankful that you are teaching me. You remind me of my father. He likes to teach like you have.”

Without saying a word, you can tell by his eyes, he is moved by her emotions.

Jao Noi:”Where is your dad now? Didn’t you say, there was just the two of you. You and your aunt.”

Sutad looking down. “My dad is dead now.”

Oh. Jao Noi tries to lighten the mood. “But I’m not old enough to be your father, can I be your brother instead.”

She looks up at him and he put his arms around her shoulders. She panics and pushed him away.

Sutad:”No way.”

He doesn’t understand why. “WHY NOT?” he asked.

Sutad:”Because you’re a Jao (Prince), I’m just Tad. I can’t be your brother. I don’t want you to lose dignity because of me. I just want to be Tad like this forever.”

Deun and Tom play up to Jao Noi at the dinner table, everyone which included Taem and Witoon are annoyed.

Witoon knows what his sister is up to. she wants to trap Jao Noi for Tom, he confronts her about it after dinner.

Witoon:”Stop thinking this crazy thing.”

What, she asked.

Witoon:”Don’t think I haven’t caught on. You are planning to match up Tom with Jao Noi. A person like him won’t be interesting in a rotten-minded girl like Tom.”

Deun:’How do you know he wouldn’t be interested in Tom. Tom is not only beautiful and cute, there are many men chasing after her.”

Witoon:”But Jao Noi already has Saengkham and she is better than Tom in every category. Tom can’t compete with Saengkham.”

Deun:”I don’t believe you that Tom can’t out compete that dull Jao like Saengkham.”

Witoon:”I have said this much and you will continue to encourage your daughter to steal another woman’s man?”

Deun argued they are not married yet. Jao Noi is fair game.

Witoon:”Jao Noi loves Saengkham dearly, he will never waver.”

Deun disagrees. They will find out soon enough. Deun yelled at her brother and told him to not interfere with her business again.
