Ken must of have felt SPECIAL, he was the only male model for the Chanel Fashion show for their Spring/Summer 2010 line at the Siam Paragon yesterday. Ken walked down the country barn themed catwalk barefoot in tan casuals and a granny tan jacket–so NOT masculine. Bee Namthip was his runway partner.

Ch3 soccer players!!!
It’s almost that time of year again, Ch3′s annual soccer match between their male stars for their 40th anniversary celebration. Man, if I was there, I would have been hiding in the bushes with my binoculars, watching them practice and eating popcorn. Who’s with me?
Boy Pakorn making a turn, Kao dribbling the ball. Too precious.
Now lets play a game call I SPY Ch3 male stars, I see Alex Rendell with Boy Pakorn wearing a cheap-ass blue and white flip-flop (a classic Thai fashion item, I wear it sometimes), then there is Oil Thana and Aum Atichart looking beat. Aof Pongpat stands between them. Mart stands behind Kao during their running drill. Mos is in here too looking exhausted and staring off into space. Are you tired Mos?

Katreeya English is a boxer, a katoey, and a whØre

Lyn! What the hell is wrong with you? You best re-write this post title, it’s so rude. What? They’re just her lakorn characters, it’s not really her character in real life. Take a chill pill. Would I ever insult anyone, come on, me scolding myself. Many of you are probably thinking, wow, Lyn is just wigging out at this moment. Don’t worry, I’m quite alright. I got your attention, didn’t I?
Katreeya English who has been missing in action from lakorns for the past 4 years to focus on her music career has return to play a boy and girl twin pair in the romantic comedy “Faet, na ya (Twin, na ya)” for Ch3. Katreeya will portray both the male and the female twin roles because the boy twin is a katoey (a transgender) and not your typical katoey type also, a beauty pageant queen type. Think Miss Tiffany, a beauty pageant for women of “the second category”. The girl twin is a boxer. It’s a complete gender mix-up. “Por” Thrisadee Sahawong is the pra’ek, he will definitely be confuse.
If taking on a katoey role is not avant-garde enough for a former nang’ek, Katreeya wants the whorish ‘E-Pan” role for the lakorn “Duangta Sawan (An Eye for Paradise)”, a Kai Varayuth production. Nothing has been set in stone, if the Ch3 elders choose her for the role, she will gladly accept it without fear.
“If the Elders gave me the opportunity I will gladly accept it because I think it will be a defying role. It’s a role that I have never portrayed before. Am I worried about my image, I think as a performer (an actress), you ought to portray different roles. You have to play a thing that you are not in real life. Consequently, it will challenge your abilities. The role is not that villainous to be a nang’rai. Everything that “E-Pan” does, in her mind, she thought it was the right thing to do,” said Katreeya.
Just give her the role, she wants it, and no one else does.
Taddao Bussaya:EP 16 end Part 1

Weeping willow, it ended just 30 minutes ago. Let me tell you it ended in a typical lakorn fashion with a forehead kiss and a hug.
Completed. Did I read though it, no. You have been warned.
It will tarnish no one’s reputation…

Says Kai Varayuth’s about the overly-sexual female lead role of “E-Pan” for his lakorn “Duangta Sawan (An Eye for Paradise)” for Ch3. Several leading Ch3 actresses from “Cherry” Khemupsorn Sirisukha to Janie Tienposuwan have dropped out of the project in fear they will lose their good girl image once they take on the role of “E-Pan”, an avant garde type of woman, whatever she wants, she must have. She is even willing to invest her body to assault a man that she loves.
Kai has nominated Katreeya English, who is currently filming “Faet, na ya (Twin, na ya)” with “Por” Thrisadee Sahawong, one of Kai’s lakorns in production. He has not gotten the ‘okay go’ green light from his Ch3 bosses so he doesn’t want to say much.
“Right now, we are waiting for the channel to decide who will play who. We send out 2 problems, the role of E-pang and Khun Ying On for them to choose, 2 problems for them to choose the pair because they are from different generational gaps. As for the younger generation, we set it up for the younger generation. Higher up, we will set it up for the higher generation.”
Reporters then asked Kai about Katreeya English taking on the role of “E-Pan”, regarding that he doesn’t know though he did nominate her. “That, I don’t know because the Channel has not told me anything, I did nominate her. Right now, we have to wait for the Channel to decide. Truthfully I want both couples. I want either generation because I have already arranged it and I like both couples. The thing is that I have already chosen all the characters already since Janie backed out. I sat down to consider which couple was suitable for each other.”
As for “Joy” Rinlanee Sripen being “E-Pan”, she was never in the running, he was shocked that she was even mentioned.
Playing the “E-Pan” role will not tarnish anyone’s reputation because there are restrictions to making lakorns, says Kai.
“This lakorn will not tarnish anyone’s reputation because what lakorn can do that? Know that to assault but there is no assault. It is more about talking about it. It’s more about her saying, who has had that is all. Whoever takes this role will be born (meaning to be more popular, more recognizable), and they will gain more skill in the craft of acting. This character is not more distinguished than any other nang’ek role. Nang’ek must be aggressive, but not to the point where she is evil. It won’t be part of her character, this won’t be about fierce competition. The more the nang’ek is good, the more the nang’rai (girl villain) will appear villainous. Thus, the character will be both good and evil. It will make the lakorn outstanding in both regards.”
Someone should just take the role. How about Ploy Cherman, someone suggested. She has played this type of role before.
