Kwan’s lakorn “Hong fah” will roll out this April 2nd, 2010. The plot is very typical of a lakorn.
Kwan is a princess who grew up in the slums. Her father is a Prince of a small country in Northern Thailand, he courted and impregnated her mother when they lived in America. He then abandoned her mother when she was 8-9 months pregnant because of political reasons. Her mother comes back to Thailand and is sent to the provinces to give birth.
Her grandmother had betrothed her mother to a rich business man. Because she wanted the wedding to go through, she sent very pregnant daughter to a country province to give birth and then had the baby kidnapped and abandoned in the slums. What a great grandmother!
I’ll just leave it at that.
Cute red dress, at least she’ll look pretty. I can’t say much for the plotline.

I just watched the t-ser and its not interesting at all IMO. Its that typical “main actress is a heiress born out of the slums”. ugh. SNOOZEFEST.
ch7 is totally disappointing. what is wrong w/ them nowadays? Gone were the days of Muay Inter, Theethothee (im sorry i don’t how to spell it, but its an action lakorn).

to be honest with you, I’m not sure. I have family all over Kansas and Missouri. A town I can remember is Raytown.
I like Kwan’s costumes. I will skip this lakorn, I have seen this plotline used a hundred times before. Lets hope for there being better lakorns in the future than this.
I agree to Gala. ch7 needs to change their stylists. All ch7 casts look cheap in lakorns. Aum Patcharapa look better offscreen.

Kudaranai, Khun Gai did put effort into it, but it was what he wanted to see not what we wanted to see lmao.. I don’t think Arisa is similar to Alin at all although I am one of those that were disappointed in the lakorn. Arisa was just too cocky for me and the other characters were unnecessary. And I got to add, Chaluey Suk, their wardrobe was cheap looking except for the guys. I felt bad for Anne, she had on some of the most ugliest dresses ever.
Ch.7 are at least 50-60% completed before they start airing. It’s not like they film for 2 weeks and start airing right then and there. I don’t agree with their methods, but as long as they can still make lakorns that I like watching, they can keep doing it. Also, they’ve been doing this for ages. They did this to Kob’s version of Taddao Bussaya. Stretching it to the point of just her serving coffee all episode long. I guess it’s our fault, we watched it. -*-
And no, khun Gai did not put his all in Chaloey Suk, he put it all on the inconsistent timeline fancy wardrobes. So many people are really upset over the remake that even hardcore Ann fc’s gave up on it. In trying to ‘update’ the character, she ended up like Alin from Sood Sanaeha. So wrong :< (I should really finish it too but…)
Gosh, I sound so bitter. It’s probably because I am, after Sawan Bieng and Sood Sanaeha, this happened. Too much hope ;_;.
although chaleuy suk didnt turn out as great as expected but atleast you can tell they put their all into the classic remake. ch7 had alot of great lakorns back in the days but obviously their quality has gone down hill! doesnt seem like they put much effort into their lakorns like they did before. notice how they like to air and film their lakorn at the same time.
Love to see Kwan onscreen again no matter what, but i wished Pai was the pra’ek haha

Yes, because FABULOUS clothes make a lakorn great, right? I mean, Chaloey Suk was totally praised for being such a great lakorn, right? /sarcasm.
Even the goddess that is Ann T. couldn’t save it. So let’s talk about how one channel is “cheap” than others. Ch.3 does hiso-lakorns really well. Ch.7 does period lakorns really well too. And when we watch an X-act production, we get to see shirtless guys. We all win. :>
