Cee Siwat is the new co-host for “Jan Pan Dao”, a variety talk show hosted by Kob Suvanant and formerly by “Por” Nattawut Skidjai, who is leaving to be a free agent. I knew they were looking for a new co-host, I just didn’t care because I don’t watch “Jan Pan Dao”. I will watch the first show with Cee Siwat as a host, airing this April 21. I’m curious on how he would do. He’s a riot on variety shows promoting his lakorns, he talks and talks. He’s a natural storyteller, very humorous too. I wouldn’t be surprise if he did well.
Cee is very hyped about this opportunity, it is his first gig as a TV host.
“I have to tell you, I’m very thrilled, I have never done something like this before. Today, I feel honored and also pressured. I feel reasonably pressured, but I don’t feel pressured to the point where I can’t do my hosting job. I think it is a good thing I feel this way.”
JSL, the production company that produces “Jan Pan Dao” has been good to him and so has Kob, his new co-worker. “The thing that I learned from Khun Kob is that no one is number 1 or 2. You can do whatever you want to make this show fun. When Khun Kob confessed that to me, it made this job easier. When something comes up, I can consult with her more easily.”
Cee recognizes that people will compare him to Por, it’s just natural. He is not concerned.
“Of course there would be a comparison. It’s a good thing, it means there will be an audience for me. But I have to tell you, I can’t be P’Por. And, he can’t be me. I can not be someone else other than myself. The day I went for the casting, I had the opportunity to talk with P’Por. I told him I wasn’t gonna prepare anything. I was gonna go as a blank slate. I went as a new kid, unprepared. If I didn’t to do that, I would have become P’Por, P’Pa Gik (host of “Every Day you’re still sweet” with Aom), or become P’Du (I have no idea who that is). In the end, where ever I go, I’m prepared for the comparison, they can come at me to the fullest. They can say whatever they want of me.”
Amy Klimpatoom, his long time girlfriend, came out to support him.

@fun: I never call Por a lair. I have seen his interviews. In fact he has been very gracious and mindful in regards to channel 7 and Khun Dang. However, Khun Dang has had multiply issues with not only her actors but also director and writers. Many have left in dispute. Time will tell. Eventhough Por is now a free agent, I wonder how long will it be before we see him in another lakorn on channel 7.
i think cee will be a good host ^_^.. im happy for him.. but sigh.. imma be sad that por is no longer there T_T…
To Leela,
I totally agree with you on P’Du talking too much on interviews. He annoys me so much sometime when he won’t let his guest talk. It was so annoying when he interviewed Todd and Noon on his show. Whenever he asked question, I couldn’t even hear what Noon or Todd said because he would just talk over them. I totally wanted to go in there and smack him in the head or tell him to shut up.
We are just audiences. We can’t judge nor make assumptions. Nobody knows the real truth behind the story. Just leave at that.
I am just sad that Por leave the talk show. They were perfectly perfect together. KOBPOR
Sor7 is like, not even considered news.
LoveLakorns are you calling Por N a liar? Cause he said there was no rift between them in one of his interview… actually you are is spreading gossip too lol sorry I didn’t mean to pick on you but my hands were itching to type.
I’ll enjoy seeing him he is soooo cute, love him, loved him in that lakorn he did with Pinky!!!!!
@Lakorn Freak: Please stop spreading rumors if you don’t know the truth. Por and Kob are best of friends. Por is leaving JanPanJao because Khun Dang is pissed off that he didn’t renew his contract with channel 7. Although I will miss Por, Cee will be a good new addition to the show.
There’s a rumor awhile ago that P’Por is pretty much fed with Kob. Not a lot of people wants to admit that she is a brat. Got this info from (Sor Chet)gossip. She might be over exagerated sometime, but 50-70% of what she said about actors/actresses are true.
It’s always good to get new blood into programmes. People will tend to compare Cee with Por but I say why not give him a chnace to prove himself? He’s younger and the programme will probably become more energetic and different! Looking forward to the change!
I want to see how it will turn out.
@ leela
I guess it’s because he’s been in the business for so long, he’s in the category of hosts that people respect, etc. He’s the face of JSL, practically.
I am happy for Cee but I got a few questions. Did Por N decide to leave the show on his own? Even though he is a free agent, shouldn’t he still be able to host the show?
Cee will do just fine as a host for Jan Pan Dao.. they chosen the right person. I’ve seen him as a guest host with Aom’s talk show for “Wan Wan Yan Wan You” he was great.
I don’t get why people look up to P’du so much, to me I don’t really think he’s a good host. He talks way too much, and doesn’t give his guests a chance to talk..
P’ du is the host for ti nee mo chit
