Okay, this is the last spoiler text I will translate until next week. Read at your own risk.
Part 8 continued from this morning.
Khaohom felt distressed by the pestering from Nawa, who had invited her to go out to eat outside of the university.
Nawa:”Are you worried about Techit, don’t worry about it, I will explain it to him myself. Let’s go out to eat, we haven’t eaten together in a long time.”
Khaohom:”In that case, we can.”
At the other corner, Techit is waiting for Khaohom, without knowing she has already gone with Nawa in his car. After waiting for awhile, Techit goes to look for her. He asked everyone he passed if they saw Khaohom. But he could not find her.
Arriving at the restaurant, Nawa took the opportunity to please Khaohom, he ordered everything to fill the table.
Nawa:”Eat a lot Khaohom, I think you lost a lot of weight.”
Khaohom:”I don’t think that is it, I think it is still the same.”
Nawa:”who said that, I clearly remember you at the Baan Tor Fah orphanage, you look brighter than now.”
Hearing the “Baan Tor Fah” orphanage being mentioned, Khaohom’s face sank.
“Back then, I was happy. Now, it’s not like back then.”
Nawa:”Lets not have that Khaohom. I think it is best if we change the subject. Lets not talk about the past, Khahom. I want you to look towards the future. I don’t think that everyone will always have bad luck. One day, it will be your day. I will give you support.”
Khaohom thanked Nawa for his kindness. Both looked into each other’s eyes with sincerity. The person who did not feel good at that moment was Techit, who was annoyed and worried to the point where he could not stay still. He drove home to wait for Khaohom. Until the evening when he saw Nawa drive in to drop off Khaohom, Techit became engrossed with jealousy and worry. Seeing her with Nawa, he angrily went over to her to ask, “where have you been?”
Khaohom struggled to answer him.
Techit:”So what of it. You can’t find the words to defend yourself? Have you forgotten, you are my fiancee now, how can you dare go out with another guy till late at night. Do you know what others will think when you do that?”
Khaohom kept her head down and did not know how to convince him. Nawa interjected, “don’t blame Khaohom, it was my fault. Not until I told her I would talk to you, she agreed to go with me.”
Techit:’Oh, that means not only is the woman easy. The guy is like a cat who likes to steal other people’s fish.”
Nawa:”Then what is wrong about that? You don’t even care about her anyways, isn’t that right? Don’t think that I don’t know, the reason you made Khaohom get engage to you is because you want to beat me. Am I speaking the truth?”
In a cocky manner, Techit says, “how do you know?”
Nawa answered him, “because I grew up with you. Even the coils of your intestines, I have seen it all already. I want to tell you something, you are thinking wrongly. Since Khaohom has done nothing wrong, you shouldn’t pull her into this.”—Oh Nawa, you are so wrong this time. He loves this chick.
Techit:”How can it NOT be wrong? You have completely fallen for this girl, you don’t see your own naivety. You don’t see what is the truth.”
Nawa:”If you think like that. Then it is not wrong of me to care, to pick her up and drop her off because Khaohom needs someone to care for her–not a person like you, who claim his right as her fiance, but then forsaken her.”
At this point, Nawa and Techit stared each other down. Khaohom looked on in fear of a fight. She decides to intervene.
Khaohom:”That’s enough. Lets just say, regarding this, it’s all my fault. From now on, I will take care of myself. I will not make anyone feel burden because of me. Khun Nawa, excuse me ka.”
She quickly walked into the house. Techit quickly followed her into the house, leaving Nawa alone at the entrance with his fist tightly made.
Khaohom reached the door to her bedroom, she is about to open it, Techit takes her hand in rage.
Techit:” Wait a minute, I want to say something first. I forbid you to go anywhere with Nawa again.”
Khaohom refused. “No ka. Everything else, I can accept. If you are making me lose the only friend I have, there is no way I can accept that.”
Techit:”Why? You love him that much huh?”
Khaohom:”Whether I love Khun Nawa or not, it has nothing to do with you. You know too well WHY I have accepted your engagement. For that reason, don’t squeeze more than this. If I can’t bear it, I will not bear it. Do you have any more business with me?”
After hearing that, Techit was speechless.
“If not, excuse me,” Khaohom said and quickly went into her room and locked it. Since he could not do anything else, Techit walked angrily back into his room.
