Oh My GOSH, Bangkok burns, Noon and Todd wed. Zen shopping center was burned down by ‘red shirt’ protesters after their leaders surrendered and were arrested yesterday afternoon Thailand time. Central World shopping center was burned down, Ch3 offices were attacked. No lakorns airing today on Ch3.
Reporting from the Associated Press about Ch3:
“Protesters had already turned their rage on the local media, which they have accused of pro-government coverage. They attacked the offices of state-run Channel 3, setting fire to cars outside and puncturing water pipes that flooded the building.
“At Channel 3 need urgent help from police, soldiers!!!” tweeted news anchor Patcharasri Benjamasa. “News cars were smashed and they are about to invade the building.”
Noon and Todd did not want to cancel the second part to their wedding because they have been planning it for over a year. It was meant to be a big wedding, considering the political circumstances, they understand it will be rushed because of the curfew and not all their guests will attend.
“I’m very concern about today’s situation, especially regarding our wedding guests and the mass media. I am concern about the safety of everyone. For that reason, those who could not attend and fear that Noon and I will not understand. We would like to tell them, we understand it WELL. Today, we will try to make everything go as fast as possible. The truth is we have been planning this event for over a year and have been following the news. Our elders have been preparing the security aspect of the wedding since the beginning,” said Todd.

Someone has been noted saying this is like 9/11 in Bangkok. It looks very familiar-smoke, fire, brings back memories.
Noon and Todd giving each other pecks on the cheek for the media at the Royal Jublilee Ballroom, Impact Arena.
Considering the circumstances, they still looked elegant.
I don’t know how I feel about this. Considering the circumstances, should they have canceled?

I applaud Noon and Tod for going forth with their wedding and being gracious enough to understand if guests didn’t want to attend out of fear. People may feel they should have canceled/postponed, but I believe it took even more courage for them to go forth with the plans. At least we know that through the crisis and hate going on, there is still love and togetherness happening as well. They didn’t force any guest to go, they didn’t force them to stay, they just wanted to celebrate the beginning of their life together and that’s so sweet.
I’m sorry, I don’t know much about the situation in Thailand right now, but can someone explain why there are protesters and why the building was burned down?
I’d appreciate it a lot. Thanks!
so, to sum up, no GNAO RUK LUANG JAI Tonight ?
Oh ok Fun,I understand. Its just I don’t like the violence that the red shirts are burning up buildings and causing havoc against the soldiers.I don’t support anyone anyway and well,if they love thailand its people, then why do they have to turn to violence? It doesn’t make sense to me! whatever you believe, thats up to u.I respect that
Wedding or no wedding, its Noon and Tod’s decision, If I planned a yearlong wedding I would have mixed feeling about cancelling it or not, and wedding are not cheap even for the rich.
But my point is I live in NYC and I know how people and their families felt when 9/11 happened and It’s not FUN for anyone. It is really stupid for people to sacrifice their own people by hurting them and their country just to prove a point. It’s too selfish for anyone to harm other for their own gain. In this case what did they really gain? Except of one burned up building and some car damaged, and few injured people. Will they really gain anyone trust and support now? It’s really stupid to prove a point this way, as we all know now life will go on no matter what, see a wedding happened while you burned down a CH3 station.
Sorry typo *main* not maid lol
I thought the red shirts protest were going fine (at least not as violent) until someone shot one of their maid leader in the head? (At least that’s the news I’ve heard, so correct me if I’m wrong) That probably made them mad and they totally lost it. What they’re continuing to do will not only make the outsiders see them as the bad side, but they will also lose sympathy from people who agree with them so they are not making this any better. I don’t think every red shirt was paid by Taksin, so it doesn’t sound right to make this assumption, they just want a new set of ‘fair’ government which of course, in Thailand will never happen due to unfair elections.
Anyway, best wishes to the happy couple, if it was me, it’ll probably be hard to held such an elegant wedding while people are hurting outside, but it’s their choice so congrats.
And yeah what’s with the red shirt, like so they are taksin people, but what I heard was that taksin cheated them didnt he, didnt he still the government money or something, and why would you burn ch3, now no more lakorn or shows
Well it’s their wedding so why they need to cancel it. And for those who are burning Thailand dont even call yourself Thai people or Thai generation, you guys make me sick, and someone should kill the red shirt leader who said burn Thailand
I guess in a way, this is why the red shirts are so mad? I dunno? In the mists of chaos, the rich is still able to throw a lavish wedding? I don’t know. This just kind of got me thinking. Do I agree with the red shirts? I don’t think so. Am I sympathetic towards some of their grievances? I think so.
Amy, I cannot see why we should throw all the blame on Taskin. It’s his loyal followers that scares me, I did side with the Redshirt for pro Democracy but to use violence, I just don’t support. It saddens me already that we have people killing one another but what’s worst is to have one group kill their own people. I don’t know if they are smart or dumb but after what they have done, they are in deeper shit. Pollution and economic issue. The poor will be even poorer. But I do admire those Redshirt leaders that have turn themselves in, I believe they truly love Thailand and its people.
NOON IS SOOOO PRETTY. WHOEVER HATE HER IS STUPID. HAHAHAHAH. ANTINOON….HAHAHAHA…HAHAHAH…DUMP ASS NAME.
Noon and tod GO to the HELL with the red Tshirt }
WHY BANGKOK? WHY THAILAND? I’m so sad and angry about what happened.I live in Australia but I’m from Thailand. The red shirts are the ones who started this problem in the first place for the squared face taksin.I don’t like him. He’s got so much money and he even took his daughter to paris to buy louis vuitton in this situation?UGH. Anyway, congrats on their marriage.
They’re indeed very brave to go on with the reception… They must have been really stressed that day!
Anyway Noon looked really pretty… Tod of course didn’t look pretty… he’s a man silly! I would say he was really
suave that night… But I think someone else can look pretty…. that’s A– A——-.Cos he has such an intensively botoxed face and also his “gay” allegations… hahaha
