I thought he was going to be a free agent, I guess not. “Por” Nattawut Skidjai has signed a contract with Ch3 for 5 years. At the prayer/opening ceremony of his first lakorn with Ch3, “Koo Deuat (The Furious Duo)”, starring along side Aum Atichart, the media caught up with Por to chat with him about moving to and his contract with Ch3.
“Today I feel very excited, I don’t know if anyone else feels the same way. Sometimes people look for new things, search for a new inspiration. Like today, what you are observing, I’m sweating nervous, and I like it. I am excited because I have found what I was searching for. The act of working with a person who I thought I would never have the chance to work has made me excited and given me fire to have new work for the viewers.”
About his contract with Ch3: “I have to tell you frankly that my intentions were to be a free agent; however, Ch3 said they wanted to take care of me fully pertaining to lakorns. Whatever work comes by way from where ever, they and I can talk about it. I will have 3 lakorns per year, for 5 years. They have given me the opportunity to work with other people in other categories beside lakorns. For example, being host for a show for someone else, Ch3 and I can negotiate that. I think it’s not very restricting, it’s almost like being free.
I have to tell you, Ch3 has given me a lot of opportunities though I’m not young anymore. I would like to thank the kindness from Ch3, the kindness for signing a 5 year contract with me. I’m not young and by the time the contract is done with, I’ll be 40. They saw my significance and the determination in my work and has warmly welcomed me. Even the TV scene team have welcomed me today so warmly, it’s hot. To receive this warm welcome, it want to reciprocate it to the best of my abilities.”
Why has he taken another action role? “I have never thought I can escape from who I am. What if, what we are skilled at and the best of what we are is being an performer. In lakorns, there aren’t a lot of parts: drama, action, comedy. You can’t escape that. The image you will see me in this series will be a change. There might not be a lot action. There maybe more than just action. However, the action will be the colorful core for this series. I have a reasonable neutral perspective with my work. It’s not like I’m an actor who randomly decided to be a singer. I’m still in the world that is real. Work in this category still exist. Fans who love my work in action, they still exist and are plenty. They are still looking forward to it, how can I tarnish their dream. I want to make them happy and be happy too.”
Por has been offered the pra’ek role in “Wanalee (Forest)”, so reporters asked him about it. “It’s another interesting series. For the role, I have been given the name ‘Seua Muet (Dark Tiger)’, in “Koo Deuat (Furious Duo)”, my name is Dum (mean black). Right now, many producers are sending scripts for me to read. Some have made contact and I pass it on to P’Ae (his manager). There has been many interesting series. Some series, they just want me to play in it. I’m willing and we will have a chance to work together eventually.”
Some of Por’s fans still feel regretful that he is has moved channels, he feels their pain too. “Will you believe this the thing that I feel most regretful in my life. They are not the only ones who feel regretful. However, in this life, you have to walk up and fight with the real world.”
I think Por is a fantastic actor, I hope he does well at Ch3. I really do.

I am so happy that por is moving to ch.3. ch.7 doesn’t offer him that much lakorns and he have such great talent in it. although i like ch.7 but i find that ch.3 is way better and i tend to like ch.3 lakorns better. ch.7 do have some good lakorns but most of the time its really repetitive and it drags. I agree, although ch.3 ratings aren’t that good but the quality of the lakorn is way better and ch.7. i really look forward to this lakorn (por’s first lakorn with ch.3) and por is staring with aum as well. i wonder who the n’ek is? and what is the lakorn about any way??
So happy for Por… at least at Ch 3 they will appreciate “aging” actors and actresses, like what they do with Ann Thongprasom and Ken T. Yeh!!!
As for Aum playing evil… happy that he will have a wider acting range to show… Anyway he will succeed, as his face has an “evil” streak in it!!! Good luck to both of them!
Yay…i love Por! i am so happy that he is with ch.3 now. i hope he will do well with ch.3, and i cannot wait to see him costar with ch.3 actresses especially chompoo, cherry, and anne.
Oh this is SUPER GREAT that he will be in Wanalee, one of my all time favourites lakorn. He will be great as “Seua Muerd”, so hopefully he will pair up with the n’ek that I like too.
I’m so happy for Por. Ch. 7 is like that, they recycle with no remorse. It seems like all Por wanted was just some work and Ch. 7 couldn’t offer him that. It’s a pity, he was their top pra’ake and now, it has come to an end. Like Por, I’m happy that at least Ch. 3 doesn’t discriminate against age and has given him so many more opportunities, 3 lakorns per year is a lot. Even though Ch. 3 doesn’t achieve crazy ratings like Ch. 7 but their lakorns are of better quality and I think that’s what counts in the end.
Is the lakorn going to be both guys playing cops? Dark Tiger, dirty thoughts come to mind. Anyway the photo’s were bad it made them look short and bloated. But I hope this lakorn will be good.
i think he has made a good move by signing with ch3 cuz if he decided to be a free agent he might not get as much work. atleast with ch3, he’ll be gurantee with quality lakorns and more challenging role. he seem very happy too. im waiting for him and anne to pair up. im sure many directors/producers have contact him after he signed with ch3

*crying* he will get to co star with my girls. I stop watching his lakorn ever since that lakorn with Kat. The Genie lakorn. I haven’t finished his two hits with Ch7 yet. I don’t think I will be able to anytime soon. But congrats to Por on his new lakorn with ch3, I will not be tunning in, it seems like another action lakorn and I don’t even want to go there.
Really happy for him, I too also hope to see him with some of the great Ch. 3 actresses; including his old co-worker Chompoo. Another chance to see them together, thank you Lyn.
