Ken Theeradeth returns to action lakorns in “Rahat Torachon (Code of the Outlaws)” for Yuma productions. His nang’ek is “Chompoo” Araya Haget, it’s their second time being paired. Their first lakorn together, a romantic comedy, “Wiwa Wa Woon (Chaotic Wedding or Confusing Wedding)” is currently on air and doing quite well, beating the competition. Filming for this lakorn will begin sometime in mid-June, today they had the fitting. Usually in action lakorns, pra’ek (the lead guy) is a cop. For this lakorn, it’s no different. Ken will be playing a police officer, a bodyguard to the prime minister. Tah Warit is in here too, as the prime minister’s son.
As Ken was describing his character, he’s playing a police officer, Chompoo then looked at him and jokingly asked: “Really, you’re playing a police officer?” Ken, then looked down at his outfit and teased her: “I’m a police officer. What? Do you think I look like a messenger?” Chompoo laughed and explained herself, “I thought you were one of those Kpop people or things of that sort.” Ken started laughing because she was teasing him that he looked liked a Korean boyband member.
Both said they plan to go exercising to build up their strength. Chompoo said that when she was holding the gun, her hands were shaking because it was heavy. She needs to build up her strength. In the lakorn, Chompoo will be portraying a girl assassin.
To Miss unidentified-never-like-KEN, I definitely understand your view. We all have diff tastes ^_^ And I understand that you are still a little girl so you don’t don’t appreciate mature men yet. Hehehe but one day, you’ll look back and think, Wow, Ken is the perfect man. Being able to have a happy family is every perfect man’s goal. Don’t you go “Awww” when you hear that the goals of KPop guys are to raise a happy family? That’s when Ken’s got. ^__^

Anyway yeah Ken doesn’t look KPop because I apologize for saying this but most KPop looks girlish. Not my type. Muddie is right, Ken looks more manly.
I think Chompoo only say he look KPop as sarcasm. I think it was meant to tease him cus the outfit does look like he’s a security guard.

No, he’s not “ewwww”. You have to be blind to call this guy ugly. Yes, it’s true that he is older compare to KPOP, but at least he looks like a real man and not a girl in a guy’s suite. Don’t get me wrong, I like some KPOP, but most look like girls or gay (not bashing gays either, just saying). KPOP wears more make-up than most girls including eyeliners so saying Ken wears make-up to make himself look good is an understatement. You can’t really compare the two because they have their own audiences. I understand you love KPOP and you are entitled to that, but you can’t go and bash others just because you think KPOP are superior.
Why don’t you guys like Chompoo with Ken? I think they also make a cute couple onscreen. And the reason why they collab again is because they make a good rating for Wiwa wawoon.

I think Chompuu mentioned K-pop for Ken to save face! Cos maybe the costume is so bad that he looked like a security guard! Chompuu is not stupid… she’s just being diplomatic…! –dddeeelook: I’m also never a fan of Ken, even after the Bangkok Love story (but he was outshone by Cris Horwang!)but I think he’s still quite charming in one way or another. And it’s really archaic to classify people under classes! Like the Indian caste system where people have top class to the lowest of the lowest… Even nowadays in India people don’t feel that way much anymore!I feel that people cannot be put into classes like things… I would say Ken is the cream of the crop, as he carries himself well, does not have bad scandals, good at his work and popular…(look at the numerous advertising contracts!)… I don’t like him but I can see why others do.

Will wait and see if the chemistry works for this one… Personally I hate action lakorns… it’s so badly done and the props and ‘special” effects are horrendous! But agree with everyone that Chompu is good for action roles… BTW, anyone saw the print ad with Ann Thongprasom as herself, a caucasian girl and a little girl? It’s at the Saladaeng BTS station… Feel so sad for Ann, as it looks really bad… I mean advertising for a stupid thai brand of cookies, and the caucasian version of her looks absolutely ugly… with her peroxide hair and oldish looking styling… Poor thing… spoiling her image like that!
This is only their second time in pairing so stop complaining. It’s not like ken and anne or pat and por, or umm and aff.
I actually like this couple and their ratings are pretty high so stop complaining because you always get what you don’t want.
Even though I wished him and Aff would pair up in a lakorn together again! But so glad it’s not this lakorn because Aff doesn’t fit the role at all. Chom fits perfect or Janie would be a good choice.
