What the hell is “Sugar Eyes”, some of you might be asking. Me too, I don’t know. As part of the old people crowd I didn’t know who they were until today. They are a new girl group in Thailand. From what I can gather, Sugar Eyes is Sony Thailand’s answer to K-pop’s domination over all of Asia. Pretty cute girls. As for their music, I won’t discuss. I’m not part of their demographic, I can’t have an opinion. I’m too old for this crowd. My teen pop days have been long gone since 1998.
Two of the girls are wearing winter boots. Why? You live in Thailand. No need for boots. Flip flops is more like it.
Why I am interested in this group, our precious ‘Kao’ Jirayu La-ongmanee is featured in the group’s first MV for their single “Sugar Eyes”. The title of the song and the group’s name is “Sugar Eyes”. OKAY. The concept of the music video is revealing the good nature of the school’s resident bad boy played by Kao. He is moody, doesn’t care for anyone, but really he does. He’s a sweetheart who helps a little girl find her cat. Cue the ‘awwws” now….AWWWWWWWWWWW. Smiley Face. Good grief.

Because they are Sugar Eyes, they have their own sugar eyes hand sign thing. Oh for the love cheese. Their names are Darling, Piglet, Praewa, Cooky and Nitaa. Oh for the love of cheese again.

I feel the same that they are not theirself! but its not theirs fault. its the labels fault! how can they debut girls who cant sing good! and the song is bad! the melody is fun but its boring and they arent said anything exept “sugar sugar sugar sugar eyes”.They must improve if they want peoples to accept them.

I just have to mention. Kao was wearing black when the girls so saw him with the cat, but in the video he was wearing something totally different. LOL
Kao is the only thing/person i like in this MV. LOL. He’s so irresistibly charming.

They asked Kao to be Pra-ek. Good move. He has been in demand lately. The song was alright, and the VDO was cute. Apparently, Kao makes the girls ละลายส. Wow. haha. This group has potential but the VDO has too much Korean influence.

Wow, a korean “Candy Ear” and now a thai “Sugar Eyes”? Honestly I don’t find the song nice at all but it’s alright. The girls do look naturally cute and the guy sure is cute!

The only reason why I listened to this song was because Kao was in it! lol…I am too old to be listening to this kinda teen music…i don’t even bother listening to korean ones…so it was odd but i love kao…he’s gonna be big.
