Mario Maurer’s first project with Ch3 is described as the guy version of “Baan Saithong (The Golden Thread House)”, is that good? I have never seen “Baan Saithong”, any version–whether is be Saranyu and Monruedee’s version or the 2000 Num Sornram and “Joy” Rinlanee Sripen’s remake. It’s not a full remake, the story is sampled from the popular series and given the title: “Plerng Toranong (Proud Flame)”. Miss Aff-lookalike Taew Nataporn is in this as Mario Maurer’s leading lady. Thai pop-star slash crooner Aof Pongsak is the guy villain. Aof described his character as a total douche–from drinking, gambling, the full works, his character is involve in everything society would deem ‘unacceptable’. I get the feeling Aof will outshine Mr. Teen Idol Mario over there.

You never saw Bansaithong?? for real?! that’s the everything back in the days for me and my family! my mom loved that lakorns! same here! it was sad yet wonderful.
BUT a remake of it? for real!! O_o?? i wanting to see how it goes like! EKK i can’t wait!! i really want to see the result of it! i loved Bansaithong! this remake better be LOVED also! ^^

I’ve seen the Num and Joy version so many times. My mom has it stashed away high up in the closet because it’s her favorite lakorn. HAHA
I’ve been waiting to hear more news about Mario and Taew’s project. YAYY for Mario’s first Ch.3 work! I’m sure he’ll still need improving, but for his looks–I’ll watch it. lmfao. I like Taew, but I’m not sure if I’m going to like them together.
I loved Banxaithong back then but then I tried rewatching it and couldn’t do it. I didn’t realize it was sooooo slow. lol That’s why I hate the way Num acts. He sighs alot! I have to say, my favorite character in the whole drama is the evil mom/aunt. The sister had too much makeup on and is straight-up ANNOYING.

OMG BANSAITHONG. well i LOVE NUM and JOY their version better no one can beat it. but i guess this one will be a little different. welps i hope this ones good. but still LVOE NUM AND JOY’s version the BEST! cause NUM was sSOOOOOSOOSOOSOSOSOOSO HANDSOME in there that’s when i fell in love with him he was my first thai guy. and JOY was soooo pretty
