Two spoiled pop stars, an unplanned pregnancy, and we have a guy who must bear the brunt of the responsibility in Ch3′s weekend lakorn “Pleng Ruk Rim Fah (A Love Song at the Horizon)”, premiering this Saturday, August 21, 2010.
Hey, Mr. Pop Thakoon is pretty snazzy with his white pimp hat, no shirt vest, and flat stomach. I’ll watch it just for him for his outlandish hip-hop outfits. I’ll mock and I’ll laugh.
Pat Napapa is a pop star in this one, a popular singer, who finds herself pregnant. I’m sure the identity of her baby daddy will be revealed near the end. For now, her character Neera or Namtan pins the responsibility on our pra’ek Ben played by Great Warintorn, who is not too happy about it.
If he lived in America, I’m pretty sure he would be heading straight to the Maury Povich show to part of the their “Who’s the Daddy?” segment. Once Maury opens the white envelope and proclaim Ben as not the father, Ben would be doing the ‘happy’ dance and telling everyone, ‘I told you so, I didn’t even touch her’. The Maury Povich show is trash TV, yet I like it.
Ben is forced by his much older half-brother Borom (Montri Jenuksorn), the boss of the record company Namtan is signed under, to take responsibility for Namtan’s baby. They have to save face, protect Namtan’s image. Someone has to do it, Ben is forced to. He doesn’t like, but he does it claiming always that he is not the father and does not want to take responsibility.
Namtan moves into Ben’s house along with her older cousin Kidakarn (“Benz” Pornchita Na Songkhla). Kidakarn is there for support, to keep an eye on Ben because from what she knows, she believes Ben is the father, though he is not. She is there to nag. Kidakarn and Ben would fight often but there is chemistry between them. Ah…you know where I’m going with this. Kidakarn and Ben equals the PRANANG (leading couple).
Namtan’s baby daddy is Bee (Pop Thakoon), Borom’s son, and Ben’s nephew. He’s a singer also, who is preparing for his debut as an artist. Bee doesn’t want to accept responsibility for Namtan’s child because she has a reputation for sleeping around. E.

pat sounds so bitchy. i always thought that she’s better in nang’rai than nang’ek. don’t like great and i think benz looks fine with short hair. yeah not watching this.

You talked a lot about Pat therefore I thought she was n’ek, haha. But I guess she IS the one that makes this story so. Right on. I was going to add that I’d root for Benz and Great rather than Pat. lmao. Pat’s character is scary in the trailer. :X
What is this??? It looks similar to Ann and Ken’s Oum ruk. Incidentally, Ann’s character’s name is Pat also. And she’s in the entertainment industry as well. Why can’t they think of a more original plot? Heheheh just my opinion

I like Pat but I’ve just never really liked watching her–yet, she always stars with the P’ek(s) that I likeeee! hmp. Therefore I usually end up watching it.
Great is great but I think I’ll pass on this one. (Did I mention that I DO like the title of this? keke.) I’m eagerly waiting for his upcoming lakorn with Matt. WOOHOO! xD

ahaha i like this dirty plot. now pat looks more nang rai material. i think she should really stick to this type of roles. she did undergo lots of changes. i really like benz, she just grows on you. i love her exotic beauty, she is so unique in terms of looks and talent. she’s just so underrated.

Sounds like a boring lakorn to me! Never appreciated Benz Pornchita altho I know she has talent… and she seems too old here… As for Pat Napapa…. I’ll rather skip. The only attraction is Great Warinton…. But I think he looked the best when he did the Chang Ad…. dunno…. when he appeared on screen, his shine seems to have diminished a bit…. For me, I see this as a makings of another one of their less than 10 points rating lakorn… but come to think of it, what’s new?
