I would definitely watch the Thai version of 2007 Kdrama “Dal’s Spring” about an older woman (spinster age) who falls in love with a much younger man. Janie would play “Oh Dal Ja” and Mr. “Way too Sexy for his Age” Nadech can be the more experienced, free-spirited “Kang Tae Bong” originally played by Lee Min Ki. Realistically it could work considering Nadech (19) is a decade younger than Janie Tienposuwan (29).

Oh for the love of cheese! This is just….every hour there is something new about the Annie-Film baby daddy scandal, I’m not fast to keep up nor do I have the time. Just get a DNA test, it would shut people up quick–seriously!
Yesterday, Here Hor (CEO of RS records) named “Joon” Kittikhun Samritphansuk as 1 out of 4 possible baby daddy to Annie Brooke’s infant son “Nong Teekayu”. Then at a ‘Kristy Kreme’ donut shop opening at Siam Paragon with his manager Ae Suppachai by his side, Joon said he has never had sexual relations with Annie Brooke thus he can not be the father of her infant son and no he did not transfer 250,000 baht ($8,100 USD) to her bank account as hush-up money.

I don’t know who to believe, there is one part of Joon’s interview that struck me as odd and did not have time to translate. When reporters asked Joon if he sought help from the elders at Ch3, Joon replied:”Don’t call it help, call it seeking advice would be better. I asked the adults at the channel how is it and what would be my best option.”—To me, it sounded like an admittance that he knew about Annie’s pregnancy and that he possibly could have gotten her pregnant. If not, why did he seek advice from the elders? So confusing.
Soon after that question, Joon begged the public to have pity on Annie. Though some are saying Nong Teekayu looks like him, Joon has never seen Nong Teekayu clearly. “I have not seen him (Nong Teekayu) clearly. The reason I’m here to explain everything is because I’m a man. Either way, I won’t be ruined as much as a woman. I beg of you, have pity on Annie.”
Reporters asked Joon what he wanted to say to Nong Teekayu’s real father, Joon said:”I want to say to him, at least we are men, we won’t lose face as much. A woman is the gender of our mother, thus we need to respect her and take good care of her.”

Before I went to bed yesterday, I checked Thairath and one of the headlines read:”Somrak Big 3 ask for ‘Annie’ to speak the truth”. I was like are you serious!? This getting ridiculous. Khun Somrak Nargonwichai is a powerful executive at Ch3. Today, he came out to back Here Hor’s claims that Annie extorted hush up money about her pregnancy from 4 men which include Film Rattapoom and Joon Kittikhun. These people, learn how to use protection. My gosh!
At a press conference today, Joon appeared in front the media with his lawyer by his side and said he is leaving Ch3 because he refuses to be the elders’ scapegoat. He is not taking the DNA test either because he has never had sexual relations with Annie, he shouldn’t have to prove himself. WOW.
“This problem is between 2 people, now it is involving a third person, which is me. It is like a lakorn now. Truthfully, I don’t want to know anything about either side, I just want to remain still. However today, I want to say that my leaving Ch3 is the truth. In the beginning, I didn’t think the news would be this severe, but everyday now it’s getting worst and it is affecting my family. Most importantly, I have to thank Khun Prawit (Aranya Maleenon, big boss of Ch3) and everyone at the channel 3 who have cared for me and have taken care of me well. I still love Ch3, but I just want to say that don’t want to be anyone’s instrument (scapegoat).”
“The news has become harsher every day. The person we should have sympathy for is the mother and the child. As for me, I’m a guy. There will be no damages to me and I want to this issue to end well. I want this news to end quietly and I want both sides to have a good conclusion. Today is my last press conference and I ask the media to end this already. I really don’t want to be anyone’s instrument (scapegoat).”
It has become a he said, she said, third party involvement nonsense. We are back to square one, who is Annie’s baby daddy? Head honcho of RS records, Here Hor (Surachai Chetchotisak) claims it could be up to 4 men which include his RS singer Film Rattapom, Ch3 actor “Joon” Kittikhun Samritphansuk, and 2 mystery men. Most recently, Joon said it can’t be him because he has never had sexual relations with Annie Brooke, thus he could not have fathered her son.
Who the heck is lying here? Lets chant: “DNA test!”
The media met up with Joon at the opening of a “Krispy Kreme” donut shop at the Siam Paragon shopping center.
“I have nothing to do with this,” Joon told the media. “Most importantly we must feel pity for the woman because I feel pity for Annie and her child the most. I think right now we need to give her support and not say she did this or that. Have pity on her.”
Did you know her personally, the media asked Joon. “Personally all celebrities know each other. Were we close? No we were not close. I have not seen her in a long time,” replied Joon.
Though he knows her, he has never had relations with her or what the media to as a ‘deep relationship.’
Though Here Hor involved Joon in this matter and identifying him as one of the potential fathers to Annie’s baby. Joon did not want to discuss Here Hor or say he was lying. “I’m a kid, I have respect for all the elders. I don’t want to discuss the third party in this. I just want to talk about me and Annie.”
About the Ch3 elders and him, he did see them, but it is not what the public thinks. “I did sought advice from the elders. When the news broke out, it was very amusing. The truth is there is nothing. Oh hoh, the news is getting bigger and bigger everyday. Some sources accuse me of fleeing to America to avoid the scandal. I just want to tell you that my family travel aboard every year. I had no need to avoid anyone. If I didn’t do anything wrong, I don’t need to avoid anyone.”
Joon is not angry with Here Hor nor did he give money to Annie because he is cheap. According to Joon it would be dumb of him to, well at least that is my impression of his statement. “Pee, suppose if someone asked to borrow money from you and said they were your child, would you give them money? Even if P’Ae (Ae Suppachai, his manager) asked to borrow 500 baht from me, I wouldn’t give it to him. I’m a very cheap person.”
This is becoming absurd. Yesterday, Annie Brooke made an appearance on the Tee 10 (At 10) show and told the media that she will never consent to a DNA test for her son “Nong Teekayu”. If Film court orders her to get a paternity test, she will seek help from the “Friends of Woman” foundation.
Annie still maintains she is not doing this to hurt or harm Film Rattapoom, the possible baby daddy to her young son. She also encouraged the public and Here Hor (CEO of RS records) to give Film a chance again.
“As for Here Hor (Surachai Chetchotisak), I want to apologize on behalf of Film and myself for not being able to make this issue end well or to have it end the way he wanted it to. I truly apologized and I believe that Film’s fanclub loves him very much. I saw the moving SMS message below the TV screen, everyone loves Film very much. Continue to love him like this and forever. It’s not that he is not a good person. I have never said he wasn’t. He’s a good person. Whatever the reason, everything has variables. Everything has its own reasons. I believe that eventually it will get better. It will take time. It might not be today but I hope that everything will get better, I want Film to have an opportunity to work again. He didn’t do anything wrong. I hope that Here Hor will give Film an opportunity again.”
Annie wants an opportunity from the public, this past year, she had imprisoned herself inside her house because of her pregnancy. She wants an opportunity to live out in the open again–to be free. She also wants to work because she doesn’t have an income anymore. This past year, she has been using up her savings from the money she earned from her last two lakorns.
At the press conference, Annie appeared more confident–no crying at all. She seems different from her last interview. The public is losing sympathy for her. As one Thai netizen wrote, “what does Annie want anyways?”
This is was yesterday, today it is a new day. Today, it got really ugly because Here Hor has accused Annie Brooke of seeing other men while having her fling with Film. Looks down in shame. Including Film Rattapom and “Joon” Kittikhun Samritphansuk, there is a total of 4 men involve in this scandal. Wow. Four guys. Each giving Annie Brooke 250,000 baht ($8,100 USD) as hush up money. Here Hor told the public to NOT make their decision yet, the truth will prevail and protect the innocent.
Since the beginning, he did not believe either Film or Annie, so Here Hor went to investigate on his own and found something interesting. Around the months of November-December 2009, Annie was seeing 4 men. Here Hor claims he has backing from Ch3 executives who said that Joon sought their advice about Annie extorting hush up money from 4 guys who could be the father of her son. Joon resolved the problem by giving Annie money and leaving the country while Film stayed behind and took responsibility for everything.
Here Hor denied he is doing all of this to protect his singer, his company’s asset, and using Joon as a scapegoat. He did not pay the channel 10 million baht to make Joon the scapegoat. He is doing because of ethics.
By the way, Film never know about Annie’s other relationships and he is going to start working again. Oh my gosh, just get a DNA test. I’m dying to know.
Rumors are sprouting up left and right, who is the father of Annie’s baby? The only reliable solution is to get a DNA test. I’m curious, I hope she does it.
Because Annie is refusing to get a DNA test, some are doubting her credibility and other men in her life are now under suspicion of fathering her young son Nong Teekayu. Num Gunchai is one such person. The latest person is “Joon” Kittikhun Samritphansuk, a relatively unknown movie actor and a supporting actor for Ch3. He played lead in the teen sex comedy “The Gik”–let me tell you, it was a terrible film.
According to the rumors, when Annie was having her fling with Film Rattapoom, someone saw Joon coming and going out of Annie’s condo and apparently Joon knows he might be the father of Annie’s baby. If not, he wouldn’t have paid her 200,000 baht ($6,500 USD) as hush-up money. That’s the word on the streets, I’m not sure if it is true.
It’s getting ugly. The only situation, just get a DNA test. All I have to say is that people need to learn how to use protection. If they did, this wouldn’t be a problem. For girls, use birth control. We are all adults here, be smart about it. The only person we should feel sorry for is Nong Teekayu.
Still in mourning and only a few days after the death of her father, “Kwan” Usamanee Waitayanon attended the opening/prayer ceremony today for her new lakorn, a classic remake of “Fah Jarot Sai (Where the Sky Meets the Sand)” reproduced by Daravdo productions. Her leading man is “Tui” Theerapart Sajjakul, I think they choose him because he is a decent actor who can pass as a middle eastern man.
I was surprised to see her there. She looked tired with bags under her eyes–make-up can’t cover her sorrow. It’s sad.
“My father is still at the same place ka. I will perform my duties of a daughter like always. When my father was still alive, he would control my scheduling, now I have to do that on my own. It’s frightening. I’m trying to do everything to make it better. As for my mother, she has been strong like my father has become my mother.”
“I have not asked my mother on what we should do next. Right now, everyone is working together to make my father’s affair (funeral) be the best. My father had worked all his life and the rest were spent with his children. I will work for my father to make this event (his funeral) to be the loveliest, I will give it my all.”
At this point, she starts to tear up. Again, she told the press, she did not expect this at all. “I have always talked to my father. The day he went to Phetchaburi, I talked to him. He has left in peace (Kwan begins to cry). Everyone around me has made me be strong. My father is still around ka (crying at this point).”
After that, Kwan kept turning around to blot her tears away. Not until her leading made “Tui” Theerapart Sajjakul walked over to join the interview did she smile.
Tui:”I’m very happy to be playing in this series. This is another series that everyone has been waiting for.”
After he said that, Kwan thanked everyone for their support and said she understands that this is everyone’s dream lakorn.
“I must thank all of the elders. I want to thank everyone who has supported me. I understand that this is a dream lakorn. Though I’m not that talented, since I have been given this responsibility, I will try my best. Everyone has the right to praise or criticize. I think criticism is mean to built to make me a better actress. However right now, I have not prepared anything yet ka (smiles). I think this is a dream literary character including myself. Though I did not read it, I was just a listener I still admire the character in this literary work.”
Tui:”My preparation for this character was primarily getting advice from the crew and asking the director how I should play this character. My character is a military bodyguard. Soon we will be going to Eygpt to film roughly around February. I’m happy to be given the opportunity to work with Kwan this time around. Actually, this is our first time working together. As for her character, I think she suits it well. In regards to our age gap, there is no need to worry because it is not by much (laughs).”
Kwan about Tui,”I’m very happy to be working with P’Tui because I have watched him since I was a kid. I’m a fan of his lakorn and music. I’m happy we are working together. Regarding this series, I don’t think need to adjust very much. When we go aboard (filming in Egypt), I might have some adjusting to do.”
“Fah Jarot Sai” is a love story set in the desert between a mixed Thai girl named Michelle and Sharif, a royal officer in the made-up kingdom of Hinfara.
Michelle is a mixed orphaned girl who grew up in a convent. When she graduated from school, she followed her best friend Kasfiya to a distant desert kingdom called Hinfara to teach. As soon as they get there, Kasfiya is assigned to the palace to be a lady of the court (i.e. concubine) for King Admed, the ruler of Hinfara. It was foretold by the Royal fortune teller that the woman who will give birth to King Admed’s heir has arrived to Hinfara. Because she already had a lover and the misconception that Michelle was trying to steal her French lover Robert, Kasifya devises a plan to make Michelle her substitute for the King. Following traditional custom of the land, Sharif, the King’s beloved friend/ royal officer will delivery Michelle to King Admed.
On the night of the delivery of Michelle to King Admed, Oman, a younger relative of King Admed, created a rebellious uprising and had King Admed executed in front of Sharif.
Sharif fought with the rebel army and fled with Michelle into the open desert. Together Sharif and Michelle faced the dry harsh elements of the desert landscape while being hunted down by Oman’s rebel army.
Being together alone and experiencing the difficulties of the desert together, the two began to sympathized with each other. Sympathy and understanding turned into Love. However, their love had an obstacle because of Sharif’s duty to save the throne of Hinfara and to restore peace for the Kingdom.
Nice plot line. I like it.
