Can you name the lakorn with the best TV ratings on Ch3 thus far for this year?
It’s Taddao Bussaya, Por and Punch’s romantic comedy where Punch masqueraded as a boy to look for her father’s will.
Top 5 Ch3 lakorns
1. Taddao Bussaya: Rating of 15
2. Soo Yipta (Fight to the end):Rating of 14
3. Wanjai Gub Nai Jomying (The sweetheart and Mr.Arrogant): Rating of 13
4. Kulap Rai Nam (A Rose without Thorns): Rating of 12
5. Neua Mek (Beyond Comparison): Rating of 11
Wiwa Wa Woon (Chaotic Wedding) and Sai Asoke tied with Neua Mek for 5th place.
Lakorns with the best premiere numbers for Ch3 are Suay Rerd Cherd Sod (I’m pretty, I’m Perfect, and Single) and Neua Mek (Beyond Comparison) with a rating of 8. If you compare this with Ch7, these numbers are just awful.

The key to high TV ratings is in the provinces (rural Thailand), they are the masses. If you don’t cater to the likes of the provinces, no high ratings for you.

I love Ch.3 lakorns! I think each year, Ch.3 is improving their lakorns and offer a variety of different plots. I also like a lot of new actors, like Punch and Yaya. I think I haven’t watched a single Ch.7 lakorn this year… I think they should re-think their strategies and pair-ups. For me, the quality of Ch.7 (i.e. plot, settings, etc.) have declined over the past two years, and I used to be a huge fan of Ch.7.
YAY! I loved Taddao Bussaya! It is def my fave this year. And Punch’s role as a break out actor was so good. I will definitely keep an eye out for her next work! Loved it!
O M G! I cannot believed Rome and Yaya’s lakorn
got top 5! I think it was an okay lakorn.I don’t
really like it. I’m Happy that Taddao make it to
1st place! Love it, I became a Fan of Punch!
I knew it’d be TB. Indeed I enjoyed the lakorn very much. Por and Punch are just great together whether she played boy or girl.
I agree with thinkjaden. As of this point I think Wanida is the best. The one before that I think “Suay Rerd Cherd Sod” was the best. I loved it. I thought Janie and Film did a wonderful job together (the fun, the romance, and the KISSES!!!)
the ones listed up there, i saw only sai soke, wan jai, and kularb (ff a lot). really like sai soke. don’t think kularb deserve the spot cuz it was hella boring. sao chai was good in the beginning but like the rest of ch. 7 lakorns, the longer they go the less interested i am like right now they should start wrapping up the storyline or else it’s gonna get boring.
Ratings are good to brag about but bottom line is what do we enjoy watching and which lakorn will turn into classic. Some fans are very celeb loyal. I just watch whatever is entertaining for me. Like I love Rome dearly but didn’t like Kularb Rai Nam so I didn’t even watch past the 3rd episode. Right now, the only lakorn I’m watching is Om/Jui, and Wanida. The rest is trash. Well at least to me it is.
I think if they have web ratings, ch3 lakorns would win ch7 lakorns. Us (or atleast myself) online people watch ch3 lakorns for the hot leads but ch7 leads don’t offer much of appeal. Ch3 has all the hot looking cast members whereas ch7 only has Pancake and Weir it seems. lol jk Don’t hate me for saying this but Sao Chai HiTech, to me, is good and exciting only because I’m reading your lovely caps. I tried watching it and their acting bothers me. The only one acting natural is Pepper and n’rai Nee..otherwise, everyone else’s characters including the main leads are too fake like they’re trying too hard at playing their roll.
Taddao Bussaya deserved it’s #1 spot but overall, I think ch3 had really good lakorns lined up this year.
those are actually considered good for ch3. they judge their ratings differently than ch7 so anything above 8 would be a a hit for them. i know they can reach above 20 but its not often we’ll see that happen which is ODD since they have alot of good lakorns. to me, these numbers doesnt determine if the lakorn is good or not. at the end of the year, ch3 will take home most of the awards.
Kularb Rai Narm deserves it’s TOP position
Taddao Bussaya was awesome too.
Thailand sure loves action lakorns, Suu Yip Ta bored me to death, i watched it for the sake of Aum cause i love him. Wiwa Wah Woon was awesome.
I think the ratings for Wanida’s first and second episodes were very good considering that it was competing in the same time slot with Duay Rang Attitan? Final episodes (Weir’s and Pancake’s lakorn, Pancake aka queen of rating). I love everything about Wanida especially the story lines and the casts. I know a lot of people including myself look forward to every episodes. Haven’t been this excited about lakorns for awhile until Wanida comes along!
OMG, that what I was thinking too “thinkjaden”(the girl who wrote above me). I was thinking about Wanida as well. I thought that since Tik is back, people would watch the show and have a high rank as well. What a bummer.
Where is my favorite lakorn, Wanida? I know it’s not on the list but I love it so much.
So I’m going to drop off ratings for the first and second episodes.
