Bashing Pancake is not only an international sport, it’s a national sport also. Much like international readers on this blog and various international forums for lakorns, Thais are getting annoyed with “Pancake” Khemmanid Jamikorn for being everywhere, accepting every lakorn role possible, her exposure and presence is too much.
International and national lakorn fans are complaining once again about Pancake, they don’t find her suitable for the female lead role in the 2010 remake of “Tawee Pope (Two worlds)”, a fantasy lakorn made popular by Ann Siriam and Saranyu Wongkrachang back in 1994.
Pancake is used to the complaints and does not care what others say. Every role she has accepted, there has always been complaints that she is not suitable for it.
“I have been in 5 remakes already and each time there has always been complaints. I consider it a normal thing. If I was given the opportunity to watch or like a character from a literary work, it is the right of the reader or the person who loves that particular lakorn [to voice their opinions]. Lets just say, I will try. Om and I will try to make this version turn out okay to the best of our ability.”
This is a classic, remade several times from a musical play to a movie, people want to know does Pancake feel pressured by the expectations.
“I don’t feel pressured. It is just that, if I was the reader, I would want it to come out like what I have imagined.”
Pancake’s primary concern is about the language: “Some phrases are not used in this day in age. It’s difficult to say. I have to improve a little. I been practicing by reading the script on my own. Also, the director and a helper is directing me on how to express my emotions, how much or how little.”
Filming has begun for “Tawee Pope (Two Worlds)”, one scene has been completed, and Pancake is trying to improve herself. Though the overall structure of the story will remain the same, there will be things added to make this version more modern.
People have been complaining that Pancake is too exposed, her lakorns are constantly on air. She doesn’t see it like that. “It’s not a lot. Duay Raeng Atitarn just ended then I have this series. Both these series are not on air at the same time. They air in intervals.”—That’s beside the point, you’re still everywhere.

Yes she is everywhere, and every celebrity has lovers & haters. I dont blame her nor anyone. We have different points of views and looks. But what can we do, people in thailand love her alot, cant stop them for wanting to see her alot. and all of her work has been a huge success.
Pancake is pretty enough to be a model but as an actress, she is better off as N’rai because she’s got the looks but as a N’ek, she doesn’t have that cute appeal that Siriam have, Ann Siriam doesn’t have to act cute but she just look cute is adorable, Even though people says that Min P. is every second to Pancake, I would preffer her to play with Om because she has this cute appearance that it would suit Om better. I don’t mind Om, I think he can pull it off as Kun Luang because he’s got the looks of dark and handsome Thai actor, even though he’s a newbie, but he has improve alot. Plus he’s got the smile to die for.
She isn’t pretty and why she takes leading role, I think supporting role suit her more, no offense to her.
Lmao, she is everywhere. Always popping up so what’s the difference if it airs later.
i agree with tyeniranh .it not her fault but ch 7 need to stop remake lakorm with her in it..i mean she just did a remake of kod lakorn and now Ann Siriam and Saranyu Wongkrachang lakorn .i think it to so for her to do other remake after she just did like two with kod lakorn.yet she keep get new lakorn air after one just ending.i think soon or later we may get sick of see too much of mint because she naybe like panckae her laorn just ending and now she have a new one just air..just me oh what but i kind sick of see her too..ch 7 love pancake so mush …so why do a remake lakorn..if she so good as they said ..why not do a new lakorn with that she can show us how great she is..not redone old show…
Personally, for me, I would like it better if the channel didn’t shove her onto us…I understand it’s not her fault but she is still EVERYWHERE and yes I can choose not to watch her but if she’s going to be starring in lakorns (remakes) that I like or the actor that I like, it’s such a waste that I have to skip some lakorns bc I can’t seem to get interested in them. I’ve tried many times to watch the lakorns that she play in bc I want to give it a chance and bc I want to support the actors but after a few episodes, I almost always end up stopping. Don’t know why…*shrugs*
