What’s up with the antlers?

Lets forget about the antlers, when it comes to Thai celebrity news, why is every celebrity (minus a few) always feuding with one another. Either they are fighting over a guy or girl or trying to get attention and gifts from some rich person, fighting over lakorn roles, it’s an endless cycle of jealousy, greed, and pure nonsense. It’s like they can’t play well with others or this is all fake and the media is making celebrity life into a rubbish lakorn. ?? True or Fiction, I can’t seem to tell the difference anymore.

Kwan, dubbed by the media as the ‘goddess of scandal’ is prone to these types of rumors—the feuding rumors. Here we go again, Kwan has a new batch of feuding rumors, this time with “Min” Pechaya Wattanamontree and nang’rai actress Moe Amena. When asked, of course Miss Kwan is gonna say ‘no beef yo’, I would be amazed if she didn’t.

Kwan is unfazed by it, she is used to it. “News between me and Min, once another newcomer comes along, I’ll get it again (have another rumor). It’s nothing ka. We are close. We know each other. News like this, I have heard it before. At first, I was confuse because I have never had a problem with Min personally or professionally.”

With Moe Amena, their beef stems from a guy. It is rumored that Moe’s current boyfriend is Kwan’s ex-boyfriend and there is slapping involve in their feud. With Moe too, there is no issue according to Kwan.

“There is nothing. We are acting in the same lakorn. We do slap each other often but it is in the lakorn. We slapped each other until our nails broke. To say that we were slapping each other over a guy, I think that is nonsense. Slapping each other in lakorns is better, you get paid for it too.” —you have to laugh at the last comment. Sassy!

Now Moe’s boyfriend is not Kwan’s ex, he was a friend explained Kwan. “He was not my boyfriend, I have said he was my friend. It’s chaotic in this regards. We are in the same circle, our friends know each other–connecting groups towards another group. There are many ages, you can’t really escape each other?”

Pancake is the ‘little bird in the golden cage’

The title for this lakorn is “Ter gap Kao lae Ruk kong Rao (You with Him and our Love)”, literally it is just that–a complicated love triangle between a rich man (‘Pete’ Puntakarn Thongjure), the rich man’s kept woman or his little nok noi (little bird) in his golden cage played by “Pancake” Khemmanid Jamikorn, and the man she loves played by ‘Pae’ Arak Amornsuppasiri to who she met in Shanghai. Her body belongs  her sugar daddy, but her heart belongs to her guy on the side, her true lover.

At Kapook, they said it will air on November 29. At the Polypus website, the production company that is producing this lakorn, it’s airing this Monday November 22. We’ll see.

Tomo is the new Bangkok Kungfu lead

I’m flying!

Originally the lead role for the film “Bangkok Kung Fu” went to Film Rattapoom, since his baby mama scandal with Annie Brooke broke out, Film was removed from the project and is now replaced by teen idol Wisawa “Tomo” Taiyanonnt from the Thai boyband K-Otic. It’s a teen flick by RS records production, you can’t have a scandal ridden lead like Film Rattapoom who possibly had gotten a girl pregnant, so they replaced him with Tomo–a lesser star with no scandal. Though the film was slated for  February 2011 release date, the date has been pushed back to mid 2011 because the script was rewritten and looking for Film’s replacement took time.

According to the producer of the film Khun Ongat Singlampong, Tomo was chosen for the role because he resolved all their problems and is a fresh face for moviegoers.

“As for the news that we were looking for a replacement for Film, it’s not anything like that because were created a new script. After Film couldn’t do the film, the staff team held a meeting and  P’Tom (famous director Yuthlert Sippapak) resolved everything. Then we went searching for a new actor for the new role. We had two people in mind like what was written in the news. For the first person, he was suited for the role but I’m not giving out his name out of respect. As for Tomo, he is our artist, so I am able to talk about him. In the end, we chose Tomo because the character in the new script, he is fresh-looking and we wanted a fresh face for this project, who has never acted before [in a film or lakorn].”

Mario Maurer and “Pae” Arak Amornsuppasiri are hopefully still in this project. I knew when the scandal broke about Annie and Film, they were concerned about Mario and Pae’s scheduling if the film was to be postponed.

Kob is not 3 months pregnant, she is 4 months

Hmmm….so you’re 4 months pregnant, not 3 months. Got it!

On the set of the “Jan Pan Dao” show, Kob Suwanant showed off her 4 month baby bump and met with the media.

“Right now, I am 15 weeks pregnant in a week it will be 4 months. About having pregnancy symptoms, I do have some. I don’t know how severe other pregnant women have it. As for myself, I just get dizzy, just a little. I have been vomiting a lot. Others have suffered more. For me, it’s just the act of putting something in my mouth. Just a toothbrush in my mouth, I start to want to vomit. But it is not severe. Some who suffer from nausea might have food cravings, I don’t seem to have any. Normally, I’m a person who has low appetite. I like to eat things that are familiar, something easy, like for example: steamed chicken with rice,  barbecued pork over rice, rice noodles (pho).”

“The feelings for my unborn child in my stomach, it’s very AMAZING (laughs). Because I have never thought about it. If you do not have it, you don’t know what it is like or how it feels. Once you have it, it’s very joyous. I feel very worried. Just to feel little aches here and there, I would think is there something wrong or not. Is the heart till beating, moving around is difficult, to sleep I get a backache because if I stretch will that somehow affect the baby. It’s just a lot of anxiousness. Right now, I’m walking more cautiously, no more high heels. I went to buy shoes that are low. The doctor advised me to drink a lot of milk, I do from milk for expecting mothers. I am getting bigger so I have been applying cream because I fear stretchmarks (laughs).”

Kob has told everyone in her family, everyone is happy, even her mother-in-law Darika.

“P’Brooke was happy. He didn’t say anything. When we found out, he shouted out ‘we have a kid now!’ I tested myself at the house. Then P’Brooke took me to see a doctor at Samitivej, the same person who P’Boom (P’Brooke’s younger sister) went to see. Also, Khun Mae recommended him.”

“Once we went to see the doctor and got the answer that ‘okay’ we are pregnant, P’Brooke called his mother and father first. I think they were happy. Because she has had a lot of grand children already, she is not as fussy about it.”

After telling her mother and grandmother, she thought about her father who has passed away. She told him that he is going to be a grandfather now and to please watch over his grandchild.

Her baby is due in May 2011. Brooke wants a little girl, Kob doesn’t care. Either sex is fine.

“We don’t know the sex yet. I want to get a ultrasound, I want to know (laughs). The doctor scheduled my ultrasound when I’m 20 weeks, roughly a month from now. I read online that if you get acne, it means you are definitely having a boy. If your face is pretty and clear, you are having a girl. When I started having acne, I went to see the doctor right away and told P’Brooke we having a boy for sure (laughs). The doctor told me that has nothing to do with the sex at all. It was because of the hormones, it causes you to have oily skin. If you ask if P’Brooke wants a girl or a boy, I can’t answer that correctly. When you ask him, he would say either is fine. But if you really listen to him, it would seem like he wants a girl. As for myself, either is fine.”

After she gives birth, she plans to legalized her marriage. Yea, Brooke and Kob are ceremonially married but they never signed their marriage certificate. So technically, legally speaking, they are not really married. They are like live-together lovers.

All smiles in this room.

17 year old Waii partakes in underage drinking and partying

This is not something new for seventeen year old RS records singer “Waii” Panyarisa Thienprasit (March 27, 1993). Last year when she was just 16 years old, Waii was sighted at a club smoking and drinking. There were pictures. Since the pictures were not clear, Waii denied it was her and said it was a lookalike. Now with these leaked pictures, I wonder what kind of excuses she will give out. She could say she is drinking clear grape juice from a shot glass. You never know.

Below is one of her music video for the song “Break”. The MV does feature Wisawa “Tomo” Taiyanonnt from the Thai boyband K-Otic.
