I understand the words coming out of your mouth but I don’t necessarily understand what they mean.
When Pancake’s mom said that Weir and Pancake can not break up because they have not started yet, she didn’t mean it like that.
“The meaning from a mother’s standpoint…I think that the ‘start’ deals with their time–to start to think, to do various things on their own, according to what is appropriate for their age. Originally, nong (I’m assuming Weir) came over when he was a new college student…still a student, something along those lines. We were able to care for each other like a family. Today, you have a reach a point where you can take care of each other. That’s the meaning behind it.”
My interpretation is that because they were students, they couldn’t be in relationship because they were ‘under’ her family care. That makes no sense. Raise your hands HIGH if you are all confuse, cause I am. Both my hands are UP HIGH in the sky. Someone explain this to me.
Reporters did ask Pancake’s mom how Pancake and Weir are doing. Pancake’s mom answered that they can still be family like always. She recently told Weir that Pancake and him are grown now and should be able to take responsibility for one another. However, because Pancake is still a student, she has to stay close to her parents.
