“Kai” Varayuth Milinthachinda, a long time Thai lakorn producer and director for Ch3, pleads with Thai audiences on his facebook account to watch his currently airing, currently struggling lakorn “Duangta Sawan (An Eye for Heaven)” starring Katreeya English and ‘Rome’ Patchada Nampan. I don’t really know what to say. Jay Kai is venting, obviously. A few of his latest lakorns didn’t do so well, remember Chaloey Ruk (Honorable Captive) with Anne Thongprasom and Rome Patchadad Nampan, and Faet Na Ya (I’m a Twin ya) with Por Thrisadee and Katreeya English. Not so great, not his best work.
On his facebook account, Kai wrote :”I’m passing this along to everyone, Monday-Tuesday, it’s ending. Please force yourself a little to watch it. Don’t be spiteful, don’t devastate me too heavily. Just this much, I’m about to die already (meaning I have suffered enough). Or do you want me to stop making lakorns, if so, just tell me.”
Everyone say it with me, ‘eeee’. Does he want pity because I can’t give it to him. I can’t even sit down and watch one episode of “Duangta Sawan”, it’s not my taste and obviously it’s not a lot of people’s taste too. Katreeya English playing E-Pan, a woman doing everything in her power to get the attention of a guy who hates and constantly belittles her, it’s not just my cup of tea. And she married his future brother-in-law too. It’s just icky all around. I don’t like it. I don’t like the way Katreeya is portraying ‘E-Pan’, there is nothing appealing about it. E-Pan is an unlikeable character, she is dumb and I can’t sympathize with her.
I do have to praise the structure of the story, the acting is good too, but it’s just not ‘fun’ to watch.
However you’ll never know, this might be a fake facebook account from an impostor.

i hate ch3 fan club.. but i like ch3 dara… i love ch7 fan club and dara 2…
you know its funny, ch7 fans like to say that ch3 copied but when theres time that ch7 followed ch3 trend they dont say anything about it. just because aof/mai lakorn aired first doesnt mean ch3 copied. like fun3fun mentioned, ruk mai mee wan tay was confirmed WAY before neu manoot aired so i dont know how is that coping? another thing, ch7 also remade mon rak look toong with kob/por but that version wasn’t a success either.
@ fun. I never said you were bragging about ch3 nor going crazy but my point is I don’t want a ch3 fan to come buzzing at my comment, not that I mean you, but “if”. And I’m not saying you cannot correct me. If I’m wrong, then I have nothing else to say.
babimel but no where in my comment did I brag about how wonderful Ch3 is. Whether your fact is true or not, I just want to clarify to those who will take your comment as true. And no I was not arguing with you. And I certainly did not state I was a Ch3 fan.
@sana. Yes fun has the right to correct me but sometimes I’ll meet ch3 fans who go crazy about comments like mine. I’m not saying no one can’t correct me but just no debating and arguing. I’ve had enough of all that.

My facts may be right or wrong, it’s not my fault for getting the wrong facts though. I get some facts from staying updated with the Thai celebrity websites etc. and sometimes I notice things on my own. Like I said, it’s not my fault for the wrong facts.
I love P’Kat. I just do not like the character she is portraying.

Why doesn’t he focus on a well written and developed story. There are too many dramatic lakorns, I think if he tried to make a good comedy than there would be better ratings. All of his lakorns were boring and ridiculous. Not to mention using the same actors to much gets old. If I were him I would make a rom-com with Ateam.
I did watch! Two whole episodes! And then I gave up. And I love Kat!
J’Kai is begging because even Mia Maichai Mia beats his lakorn at the ratings. I mean, good god, it’s getting a 3 something. Jui’s lakorn just hit 20 recently. I don’t even like action lakorns and I find that freaking impressive. A 20 and it wasn’t even a finale?

i thought the plot line for Chaloey Ruk was really interesting..i watched a little, but school came in and i stopped..but imma type of person that if its been uploaded too far to the end already i kinda take my time to go back to it…same goes to Duangta Sawan..i wanna watch it cuz of Katreeya and Joy..Katree is playing abd role and Joy is a good role…i thought the plot seems really interesting too…its just i’ve never got my time to go watch it…the only thing i dont like would be the red lipstick on Katreeya..it somehow makes her look really old

babimel you need to get your facts straight lol Dome and Ploy lakorns was first confirmed before Aof and Mai. Just because it aired first doesn’t mean Ch3 copied.
maybe if he stop casting rome in almost all of his lakorn and plus most of his lakorn is to dramatic and stupid.
