What? Is this? He’s actually Thai-Austrian, not Thai-Japanese. Holy crap. That is like TOTALLY different. And the people to who we perceive to be his ‘parents’ are actually his aunt and uncle. Complicated stuff.
Thai netizens actually don’t really care about his background. As long as he is a good person who cares about his ethnicity, many Thai netizens wrote at Kapook.
The uncle who raised him is Japanese. He learned of his background in high school when a friend remarked why Nadech didn’t look half-Japanese. Nadech went home and asked his ‘mother’ about it and she told him the truth. I’m sure he was shocked.
His birth mother is the younger sister of his foster mother, his parents broke up when he was very young, he has never met his father. Nadech regards himself as Thai-Japanese out of respect and love for his foster father who is Japanese. In the January 2011 interview with Sudsapda magazine, Nadech did say he regarded his father as his hero.
The Ch3 elders do know about this so there won’t be a press conference to clarify this issue.

Oh my gosh, I can’t believe this. One of Nadech’s fans actually called Nadech’s mother to send out her support. Wow. Her conversation with Nadech’s mother:
Person:”Khun Mae ka, I have no reason for calling I just wanted to send out my support to you and Nadech ka.”
Nadech’s mother:”Oh. Thank you very much ka.”
Person:”Can you pass that along to Nadech also?”
Nadech’s mother:”I can. I will tell him for you. I have to thank you on behalf of my son also ka.”
Person:”His fans from Pantip and other places understand and has sympathy for Nadech and would like to tell him, they love Nadech because he is him not because he is a certain something or whether he is half or not.”
Nadech’s mother:”Thank very much. I don’t know how to thank you all for ‘understanding’ my son. Now is there any reason why you have called?”
Person:”No not really.”
Nadech’s mother:”You don’t have any questions for me?”
Person:”There is nothing Khun Mae, I have no questions. I did not call to get an answer, I have called to send out my support. I have disturb you Khun Mae…”
Before she could finish, she heard a voice from the other end that sounded familiar.
“Mom krap, who called?”–That was Nadech.
The person panicked and Nadech’s mother lied saying it was just her friend calling.
“It’s nothing, it’s just my friend.”
The person then asked Nadech’s mother if she could talk to Nadech. On the other end, she heard his mother tell him:”I didn’t want you to feel uneasy so I told you she was my friend.”
According to the caller, Nadech’s mother seemed very lovely and sweet.

He’s Thai Esan, which is he a group in Thailand that share similar culture to Laos. I’m probably explaining it wrong.

Blood, race,skin doesn’t change the personality of him. It just makes him different in term of background but not his true self.
