You know what, I had no plans to watch Tangmoe’s interview with Woody on his Woody Gert Ma Kui show that aired today. I read the interview transcript at Rakdara already, it just seemed rather boring like her drama with the media which lead to her ban and her ex-boyfriend problems. There is this one part where Woody asked her why in the past 7 years she has not been without a man.. She replied, it is not men that she can’t be without, it’s LOVE. Moe is a type of girl that I don’t get.
During the interview, Tangmoe said there are some special jobs some nang’eks accept –like going out to dinner with a rich politician, businessman, or Sia and getting paid for it. Wow.
Tangmoe and Woody started talking about Tangmoe’s feelings after being banned by the media.
Woody:”It’s been a year since you have been banned by the media, but today you are filming 5 lakorns.”
Tangmoe:”It has made me realized…”
Woody kept interrupting her and he told her to speak about it well.
Tangmoe laughed. “It has made me realize I am still here because of the public. The public (viewers) are the most important thing. Two, the media, I accept they are not the most cooperative. Three, the elders who see my potential and abilities.”
She nodded her head several times and smiled.
Woody:”Have you ever thought about the public?”–maybe he said the media public. Whatever it is one of those.
Tangmoe:”I have.”
Woody:”Have you ever thought, I might be harsh, when you have been downgraded to a prime time nang’ek to a even lakorn nang’ek.”
Tangmoe:”That doesn’t relate to me at all. In a year, I play nang’ek in every time slot. Every year, I have played nang’ek in everything, in the evening, afternoon, after the news (prime time lakorn), after the first news, after the second news. It rotates like this every year. I have never been without neither. Today, every position in the channel including Khun Daeng, regarding everything that has occurred, it has made me realized, I have not been devoid of anything. I have been more lucky than most people.”
Woody:”Are you happy with the channel?”
Tangmoe:”I am, very much so.”
Woody:”The issue that occurred last year, then you think your work would go down?”
Tangmoe:”I knew it would, since the start of it. However, do you know Woody, actors come in two forms. One form can stay because of work and other because of publicity (news). I think for myself I have been forced into the second category.”
Woody is shocked by what she said.
Tangmoe:”I know that I am ‘?’, very clear, and blunt. Everyone wants me to talk, talk. Just have me talk. Whatever I say it is saleable.”
Woody:”Have you ever generated your own publicity?”
Tangmoe:”No I don’t. I don’t want to do it.”
Woody:”I know some nang’ek do, they plan.”
Tangmoe:”I also know they do. I know who does it too, everyone knows who does it. You can tell. Now if you are a person who was thrown into this since the beginning, you would want to get out of it.”
Woody doesn’t get and asked her to explain it.
Tangmoe:”A woman, who is forced to be in the news, she goes out with a guy, she has a guy rumor. If she goes out with a woman, she has a tom (lesbian) rumor. If she goes out by herself, she is accuse of not having friends. Constantly being in the public eye, whatever you do it becomes news. A person who is in this situation would want to leave, would want to live a quiet life. If not, most celebrities wouldn’t want to go aboard to live quietly.”
Woody:”Don’t you get a lot of promotion from events and various work events?”–I’m sorry it is 4am right now, I’m translating as I watch the youtube video, this might be wrong.
Tangmoe:”That is not a harmful thing, but you asked if I had generated my own publicity, I haven’t. Everyone else had created one for me already.”

Tangmoe:”No, I have never.”
Woody laughs, “accepting a job to go swimming?”

Woody:”have you ever asked about the rates? How much does it pay?”
Tangmoe:”I have never asked the rates from the agents because I don’t know them. I do have a friend who does this.”
Woody was sneaky and asked, “How much do they pay to go swimming?”
Tangmoe:”I have never done that.”
Woody:”What about sleeping with them.”
Tangmoe:”Oy, sleeping with them?”
Woody:”Is the rates in the hundred thousand (baht) range?”–that is like a few thousands dollars.
Tangmoe:”It depends on the rank. In the middle ranking, it would be in the hundred thousand baht range. For a top ranking (meaning a top leading actress), you could get up to a million baht range na ka.”—holy crap, she is just implying that some actresses are prostitutes too.OMG.
Woody wanted her to clarified, ‘are you talking about models or nang’eks?”
Tangmoe:”There is everything, a model who is not a nang’ek, a nang’ek.”
Woody:”So you know a nang’ek who accepts these types of jobs?”
Tangmoe:”As for nang’eks, the most I have heard of is that they have accepted to go out to dinner with someone. They joke, they have a good time. After dinner, she receives her money and leaves. During the interview in the pool, she talked about what type of guys she wanted, he has to be the leader, good appearance, good at problem-solving, artistic, smart, a workaholic, a person who has a background or be established.
Woody didn’t understand the last part and asked what did that mean.
Tangmoe:”A person who is important in this world.”
She does have high standards for men.
Woody:”Have you met any of these men?”
Tangmoe:”I have known some men with these qualities but they had qualities that were lacking too which made us unable to stay together. Some people are smart but are not a leader.
Woody:”Have you been disappointed often?”
Tangmoe:”Have I been disappointed often? There are some who are like this in our society. About the disappointment of finding the person and being alone, I rather be alone.”
Woody:”Well to find this man, don’t you have to get to know him first to see this quality.”
Tangmoe:”I don’t like the get to know you process because I am a person who doesn’t know how to love softy.”
She doesn’t like this moment in a relationship because it wastes time, wastes feelings, wastes money.
Woody:”You been without a boyfriend for the best 7 years, now you’re single right?”
Tangmoe:”I am single, very much so.”

Woody wanted to know, why does she feel disgusted, repulse, annoyed with men.

Woody asked Tangmoe to explain this leveling concept of hers.

I don’t like her someting just doesn’t seem right about her and she seems to be too much to be a ‘nang aek’ in thailnd culture there is very formal and there aren’t ready for this type of girl. I would understand if she was an american or something.

Acuatlly Mo and Kong Karoon did date. They dated for almost two years. Mo even admitted this. They broke up at some event but got back together for a little bit and finally ended things. I think she is just trying to protect him the same way she took all the blame when they got into that fight at some event. He probably will is on her back if she were to say anything stupid since he’s hi-so and all.

I believe she is telling the true. Many Thai celebrities do get pay to sleep around. After all most of these N’ek are bastards right? If their moms can do it, so can they. People who I can picture doing this type of jobs are all those who posted naked for the Thai Greek calendar.
Mo just annoys me…if you expect to have such a high standard for the man dont’ you think they want the same thing too. Besides, I believe that most of the time you will date with guys who have similar characters like you or else they wouldnt’ want to date you too…just an opinion.

It’s no surprise that some people sell themselves to get famous. That’s the road to stardom for some. As for her ex that’s gay, I don’t think it’s Kong Karoon because she said they only started going out, but not boyfriend yet so it can’t be Kong because everyone knows Kong was considered one of her ex-boyfriend. It’s funny how she’s always dating hisos but don’t know they’re hisos. Either she lives under a rock or she was lying about that.
This is probably one of the best interviews i’ve ever read haha. Well compared to the other ones i’ve read where the girl/guy doesnt take it seriously. Definitely one of Woodys best and Tangmoes! Props for being soo straight forward and be just herself. Somehow the entire time i was reading, i felt like she was nang rai. lmao!
