Next week is the Songkran holiday–a Thai, Lao, and Cambodian New’s Year. The Songkran festival is a holiday representing change, cleansing oneself for the new year by getting soaked by water guns and buckets of water. It’s a fun time for rest and celebration. Now lets take a look at what some Thai celebrities have plan for their Songkran holiday.
“Aum” Patcharapa Chaichuea is going to England with her boyfriend ‘Note’ Wiset Rangsisingpipat and two of her friends for 8 days.
Leading actress from Ch3, ‘Chompoo’ Araya Hagate is going to France and Spain with her boyfriend “Nut” Wirut Rangsisingpipat to rest and watch a soccer match. She plans to meet up with friends there too.
Ploy Chermarn is vacationing abroad too, to work and rest with her mother and boyfriend. “I’m working for 3 days ka and holidaying for just 2 days. I’m going to France with my mother and I’m taking P’Navin (her boyfriend) too– to take pictures for a magazine, but I’ll be the only one having the pictures taken.”

Noon Worranuch is also going to vacation in Europe with her significant other, hubby ‘Todd’ Piti Bhirombhakdi. “The program for Songkran, I think I would have to go back home first to pay my respects to my grandmother, father, and mother. It’s our yearly tradition to return home and have our heads watered. After that, we are going abroad to France, Italy, and England with my husband. My friends have said they would follow us but I told them NO! It’s prohibited! (laughs). We are vacationing there for 8-9 days, after that, I’m going back to work. Since we have gotten married, we have not gotten the opportunity to go traveling together. This time we finally have a change to go but we will be meeting up with friends there. It won’t be just the two of us throughout the trip.”–dang, it just seems like Noon is itching to get some alone time with her husband.

Tata Young will be planning a surprise birthday party for ‘friend’ U-Kay (I hope I’m spelling it right). As for the very single ‘Jui’ Warattaya Nilkuha, she is going to celebrate Songkran with her girlfriends in South Korea. Cris Horwang is going to Korea too with her parents.

The thing that surprises me most is that Min Pechaya Wattanamontree will still be filming “Bandai Dok Ruk (Stairs to Love)” for the Songkran holiday. I swear to golly, when is this lakorn ending. Min as a songkran event to do at Khao San Road, she urged everyone who didn’t have anything plan for the holiday to come see her on April 13. On the 14th, she will be filming her lakorn “Bandai Dok Ruk”.
“On the 14th, it will be a little serious because I have to film for “Bandai Dok Ruk”. On the 15th, I’m going back home to Khon Kaen.”–seriously, her schedule is backed.

BDDR will never enddd (I am secretly happy about it, though I do feel bad for the actors) I’m sightly annoyed whenever someone says that ch7′s lakorns are of low quality just because they’re on ch7 and they decide add more episodes, especially those who don’t watch it. A bunch of plotlines haven’t been solved yet. If they end it early, people complain that the ending is so rushed, if they add more episodes, others complain that it’s ‘low quality’ (even if it hasn’t even aired yet!) It’s not like ch3 can’t do no wrong. Hello, Rahut Torachon, Ken AND Chompoo were in it and they couldn’t even save that lakorn. People seriously need to stop judging lakorns based on what channel they’re on and just enjoy them for goodness’ sake.

I agree with you. Chompoo bf does look identical to Aump bf. I hope both men are two different person or else Aump will go crazy.
