Ploy Chermarn does not want to be compared to Rita Jensen

She really doesn’t like it, she even called the question ‘wretched’. Dang girl, it’s just a protocol question reporters love to ask when top actors have a lakorn together. Or any actors, comparisons are made. Ploy and Rita both have a starring role in “Pim Mala”, which will finish filming in July.

The comparison question was asked and Ploy rudely answered: ‘wretched na, don’t ask me this.” Insert awkward chuckle now.

Reporter:”You’re both the number 1 nang’eks for the channel, that is why you’re being compared.”

Ploy:”Lets just say the person who is making the comparison should reexamine what they are thinking, on days off what do they do? That’s the end of it.”

Some are saying she is not insulting Rita, rather she insulting the reporter who is asking that question.

Palmy’s new single is pure LOVE!

Haven’t seen her in awhile, but she is back with a new single titled “Kid Mak (Think Too Much)”.  It’s playful and upbeat, I like it.

Remember Patrick?

Child star, cute curly hair boy from Kob Suvanant and Num Sornram’s ‘Khun Por Rub Jang (Daddy for Hire)’ 2004 and Chakrit Yamnam and ‘Tanya’ Tanyares Ramnarong’s ‘Khun Mae Jam-Laeng (Mother in Disguise)’ 2009, he’s grown up now and working for Polypus. Well not really grown up, more like he is in his teens now. He got skinner.

At Polypus, they didn’t list his year of birth, just his birthday of September 22. His height is 173 cm (5.6 ft) and he weighs 54kg (119lbs).

‘Ken’ Phupoom Pongpanu is the next big thing

Who is ‘Ken’ Phupoom Pongpanu? The next big thing? That is what they are saying.  He is a good looking kid but can he act is my concern. He better. Looks can only take you so far, you gotta have talent too.

Ken is 20 years old and under the same management as Nadech “Barry” Kugimiya and Mark Prin, under A Supachai’s management company.  He has been given one of the leading roles in the upcoming lakorn “Saam Num Neua Thong (3 Golden Men)” on Ch3 produced by ‘Ja’ Yossinee Nanakorn from Makers Y productions.

Ken is a model and originally went by the name of  Bell Adiphong Pongpanu and then changed it to Thanapoom Pongpanu. Finally he settled on ‘Ken’ Phupoom Pongpanu. He had supporting roles in Poj Anon’s 2 films: “Hor Taew Taek 2″ a ghost drag queen comedy and “Kheaw Aa-Kaard” also known as “The intruder”, a snake horror film. During the filming of the “The Intruder”, he was bitten by a snake and was immediately sent to the hospital.

It is rumored that soon after he teamed up with A Supachai, he was sent to South Korea to do ‘upgrades’ on his face and body.

Nadech is into drugs

Yah! Hope NOT!

Sor 7, celebrity gossip columnist at Manager, has thrown out a pretty scandalous claim, Nadech is addicted to drugs. NO way.

Nadech denies it.

Reporters: “Sor 7 has alluded that you are addicted to drugs.”

Nadech replied that he loves his family too much to be doing drugs. “I’m not concern about this because I have not done anything wrong. (Have you ever gone to a shop owned by P’A Supchai’s friend?) From what I know, P’A doesn’t have a friend who has opened a bar. I love myself and the people who have given me opportunities. I love my parents too, I would not do anything bad like that krap.”

When you learned about this were you shocked? “I wasn’t shocked. When someone told me, I was doubtful, it’s more comical than anything.”

Do you go to bars? “Typically when I go out, I don’t go outside. Mostly I just get together with my friends at the house. I go to Mark (Prin)’s house or the shops around the area.”

Do you smoke? “I don’t smoke. At the university, they have a non-smoking campaign.”

How do you feel that you have an addiction to drugs rumor too? “It’s up to what people think.”

Has your family said anything? “The people in my household should know me well. They are probably not serious about this news.  It’s a thing that cuts your spirit down, it shouldn’t be kept to think about.”

Did P’A say anything? “He didn’t say anything. He said he was the third hand, thrown into this too, him and his friend. It’s funny. (He wasn’t shocked?) No, he wasn’t. He called me and told me everything. Really, it’s nothing.”

Has the elders of the channel called you in for a chat? “No, nothing at all.”

Do you plan to be more cautious? “I have been cautious since I have entered the entertainment industry. I have never thought about being more cautious than this. What will happen, will happen. I just have to do my best.”

Are you upset about these false rumors? “There is a sentence that I like: “if there is no obstacle, prestige can’t be created.”

You seemed annoyed? “Personally, I’m not annoyed.”

You encounter news like this, do you feel sensitive about it? “No, the news about me being adopted is more sensitive than this, I feel so-so  about this.”

Has your fanclub members said anything. “They know me well. You don’t need to be worried about issues like this.”

Do you fear your fans will look at you in a negative way? “The image people see from the news will probably be greatly negative towards me, but what can you do?”

Do you care?
“I don’t think I can care for the people who think of me negatively, I just have to stay where I”m at, like this it’s okay.”

Now about the lakorn “Saam Num Neua Thong (3 Golden Men)”, Nadech said he wanted to be part of it but didn’t have time for it. His friend Ken is taking his part and Ken is more suitable for that role too. He’s happy for his friend Ken.

Reporters wandered if his scheduled is packed, Nadech answered it is not too packed, he is currently filming “Game Rai, Game Ruk” and his other lakorn “Torranee Nee Krai Khong (Who own this land)” will start filming soon.

You look darker now? “I been filming the lakorn krap. I been filming at the ocean for 3 day Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday each week. I got dark. Some people have said they like this color on me.”

Right now you have a lot of advertisements, people have said you face is bruised already–I think meaning, overly exposed.  “It’s up to what some people think. I work, I want to have work. Right now I want to make it less, save it for later. Not that I’m concerning myself with being overly exposed. It’s up to the client, what they want.”

What do you believe, only time will tell.

“3 Golden Men” 2011 remake

I have never seen the original from 1998. Most likely, I will never watch it because of the poor quality uploaded on youtube or maybe it’s too old and I can’t get into it.

The lakorn is “Saam Num Neua Thong (3 Golden Men)”, a modern take on love of 3 amigos with different personalities who happen to be best friends.

First we have Teetat, originally portrayed by Thanakorn Posayanon, he is a playboy who owns a construction company. He loves life, partying, and his freedom. He lives with his girlfriend and they have an open relationship. Eventually he will fall for the cheerful Lamphao, a veterinarian and the cousin to one of his best friend Kritchai. In the 2011 remake, newcomer Ken Phupoom will be playing Teetat and “Toey” Jarinporn Junkiat is Lamphao. They are the lakorn’s bickering pair. Teetat once insulted Lamphao, saying he will never eye her as a love interest, which really ticked her off and they have been arguing ever since.

Secondly we have Watchara, the honest police officer. Watchara has been in relationship for years, but has doubts. His girlfriend wants to get marry, but he has been stalling it. He eventually finds true love with the unselfish Fai, originally played by Kem Rujira. ‘Pip’ Ravit Terdwong was the original Watchara. In the new version, Boy Pakorn is, and his nang’ek Fai will be played by newcomer Marie. Sorry, I couldn’t find out her last name.

Lastly we have Kritchai and Arunsri, they work for the same company. Kritchai is a good guy, unlike his friend Teetat, he is not a playboy or lively. He is sincere with his feelings and secretly has a crush on Arunsri, but she has a boyfriend and is very faithful to him. Her boyfriend however is absolutely horrible, he has a gambling addiction and has always been unfaithful to her. When he dies, she begins to look at Kritchai in a different way, a man who is always on her side, ready to help her in every way possible. The new Kritchai and Arunsri is Kimberley Anne Woltemas and Mark Prin, the originals were Pok Piyatida and Jakkrit Amarat.

Their relationships:
Kritchai, Watchara, and Teetat are good friends.
Lampao is Kritchai’s cousin.
Kritchai works with Arunsri.
Fai is Arunsri’s best friend.
