I find myself smitten with this series, when episode two ended today, I wanted more. I love this modern take on relationship in Thai lakorns compared to the ‘rag to riches/ Cinderella meets her prince charming, they do the slap and kiss dance, and they get married at the end’ plot line. It has nothing to do with that, this is life and relationships.

The Kritchai character is just pitiful, he has fallen for an amazing woman in Arunsri or Aew but she has a boyfriend and he can only looked from afar.
Episode one starts off with Kritchai watching Aew onscreen with admiration as she introduces him as the new CEO/president of M-Group.
He has a flashback of the first time he saw her–she was coming up for an interview and he had accidentally dropped his drawings from the outside stairway. Some landed on the small pool in front of the company. Aew saw them and took off her shoes to go into the water to pick them up. At that moment, Kritchai found himself smitten by her consideration and kindness.
He followed her to the interview and watched her from afar. He phone his assistant Benli (or Bentley) to ask Aew a question. ‘Why did she pick up the paper in the water?’
His assistant was perplexed by the request but followed through with the question.
Aew answered that that though she does not who drew the drawings, she took into consideration his efforts and she did want it to go to waste .
‘I thought it was a waste ka, the drawings were very beautiful. The person who drew them put much effort in them. Though I don’t know the owner, I think that person would not want it to be damage. I merely took in their consideration of doing something useful and doing it well.’
Kritchai loved her answered and became enamored by her since the first time he saw her.
Since her hiring to his M group company, he watched her from afar. Guy, go talk to her. But he never did.
He gave her a creepy awkward look in the elevator, she sensed something was up but said nothing.
He watched her while she was at a meetings. She felt awkward but continue to say nothing.
One day, she had enough and confronted him. ‘Hold up, please don’t go yet. Do you have a problem with me?’
Krit:’Why would I have a problem with you?’—well sir, you have been staring at her like a stalker for a while now. I’m sure she feels uncomfortable.
Aew:’I have seen you looking at me for a while now. What are you thinking of? If you have a problem with me, just say it. You looking at me like this, I don’t feel safe or comfortable. If you think of anything…er…like that…I want to tell you, I have a boyfriend.’ Ouch.
Krit:’Thank you for telling me. I would like to apologize for making you annoyed. But everything I am doing, it’s part of my responsibility.’—really. Stalking her is your responsibility. Oh guy!
Aew:’What’s your responsibility, don’t tell me your position is to be a security camera.’
Then Benli comes along and calls out for the CEO. Aew looks around for him. She doesn’t know it’s Krit. Opps.
Aew is shocked when she learns who he is.
Flashback over, we are back at the present at Kritchai’s event as the new CEO of M-Group. As he is introducing himself to the audience, one of the model’s phone rings. Aew found it unprofessional and rude–that model should have had his phone off. She wanted to know who he was, Benli answered he is not a model, he is Kritchai’s best friend. She thought he was good-looking so she casted him as part of the show.
From the side, she sees a gay man waving at Teetat.
Teetat smiles and waves at him back. Now, Aew gets this idea that Teetat and Kritchai might be gay. Really, she is not seeing the clear view of the situation, Teetat is not waving or smiling at the guy, he is waving to a girl.
Aew: ‘I see him still and reserve, but really he is like that.’
On the road to Krit’s event is his friend Wat (Boy Pakorn), he is already late and he gets into a minor car accident with feisty Fai. They argue on how to handle the situation. She yells and screams at him. He doesn’t want to deal with it, so he hands her his business card for her to call him later. Before he leaves, she takes a picture of him. ‘I’m keeping this as proof, when I get an x-ray on my butt, and if there is any broken bones, I’m suing you for compensation.’
Wat arrives as the event is coming to a close.
Krit is taking pictures with organizers and other in the industry.He is about to head out, but Benli calls him back. She wants a picture of Aew and Krit together. Aew wants to keep her distance and Benli instructs her to move in closer. Krit tells her to move in closer too, he doesn’t mine. Aew answered she is not worried about him, she is worried about his ‘boyfriend’ Teetat.
‘You don’t care, but someone else might not be happy.’–he doesn’t get what she is saying. He gives her a dumbfounded look. Like what do you mean?
Wat creeps up behinds Teetat as he is taking a picture of the pair with his phone and whispers: ‘he definitely likes that woman.’
Alone with his boys, they taunt him. They know he likes Aew, they can tell by the picture.
‘How did you know?’
Teetat hands Krit his phone. ‘Is it clear? By your eyes, if I didn’t know, you can’t call me a friend.’
Wat:’Correct. Even though I came later, by your eyes, I could tell.’
His buddies wanted to know how long as he had this crush.
Krit answered:’Since she started working for my company.’
Teetat:’Hey, I don’t work in human resources, how long has that been?’
Krit:’Almost a year.’
With that answer, his boys lit up with a mocking laugh. ‘Hey Ya!!’
Wat:”What have you done?’
Krit doesn’t answer them and they instantly know, he hasn’t done anything.
Teetat feels embarrassed to be his friend. ‘Weak. Don’t tell anyone we are friends. You liked a girl for a year and you haven’t done anything. That’s a lost of reputation.’
Wat slaps Teetat in the stomach. ‘It’s not you who will lose his reputation, it’s him.’
Oh yea.
Wat wonders why he doesn’t done anything. ‘What are you waiting for? Just pursue her.’
Krit answers he can’t.
Because of her boyfriend Pran. He’s so stingy, he ordered the goods stuff and makes her eat kimchi and the veggies. ‘Why are you looking at me like that for, aren’t you on a diet.’ –wow.
‘It’s late too. if you eat greasy things like this, it won’t be good. Eating vegetables is good for you. Kimchi is very delicious, if you eat it, you will love it.’
He tells her he cares for her, he doesn’t want her to work at this job because of the long hours. When he makes it, she won’t have to work. LIES!
Back with Krit, his friends tell him to go for it. Who cares if she has a boyfriend. ‘Even people with a spouse break up. Just having a boyfriend, what are you afraid of,’ said Teetat.
Krit:’I am afraid other people will get hurt.’
His friends can’t believe he said that.
Wat:’You pra’ek (leading man), to what extent are you gonna be a pra’ek? If you become a pra’ek too much, you might die wrinkled and dry, Khun Krit.’
Teetat:’ I think she might be lying about having a boyfriend. She might be trying to generate news to increase her ratings.’–basically saying, she is trying to make herself look good.
Wat:’That’s right! For that reason, don’t think too much of it, and go for it.’
WOW guys, good advice, trying to make Krit a cheater and a home-wrecker.
Krit had to stop them both. ‘This is my business, I will handle it.’
He looks over at Teetat and accuses him of being a playboy.
‘One guy is constantly changing partners.’
He looks down at Wat.
‘Other guy is a afraid of his girlfriend.’
Wat sheepishly looks down. ‘Who is afraid of his girlfriend? No one here.’–haha.
At that instance, his girlfriend Naem calls. He refuses to pick up to protest he isn’t afraid of his girlfriend.
His girlfriend is not too happy. She is about to leave the house and her mother walks in. ‘Sweetie, where are you going?’
Naem:”To see Wat?’
Her younger sister Noey walks down the stairs and taunts her. ‘P’Naem, you can’t even get in contact with the guy. Are you sure you are gonna be going?’
Naem:’Noey, I didn’t ask you. Don’t express your opinions. Just keep sticking your head down your BB, don’t involve yourself in other people’s matters.’
Noey:’If you keep pursuing the guy, he might dump you.’
Yea! With that said, Naem screamed at her sister and her mother had to intervene. ‘Siblings don’t fight. Don’t raise your voice at your sister. It’s not pretty.’
Naem:’But look at her, she cursed that Wat will dump me.’
Noey:’I didn’t cursed you, I just spoke the truth out of concern.’
Naem:’Me and Wat love each other. Not love each other typically, but VERY MUCH!’
Before she ran upstairs, Noey teased her sister one last time. ‘Lets get him to pick up the phone first, then we can talk.’
Naem’s mother encouraged her to calm down and meet Wat tomorrow. It’s getting late. She refuses. ‘That won’t do, I want to see him. I have to see him at this moment and now too.’
She walks out of the house and her mother comments to herself. ‘It’s probably my fault she is like that because I spoiled her.’—yea mom, you did. It’s your fault she is a brat.
Naem continues to phone Wat. He refuses to pick up. HAHA. She can’t contact him, so she calls Teetat. They are all scared when they see her ID on Teetat’s phone.
Krit:’Wat, quickly clear this. If Teetat doesn’t pick up the phone, we are gonna get it. Whatever you want him to do, tell him.’
Wat tells him to lie. He starts to lie that they have separated, but Naem quickly yells at him. ‘Liar!’
‘I don’t believe you. I want you tell Wat to come pick me up at the house right now. NOW! Just that.’
WOW.
’Is that clear?’ Asked Wat.
Wat sulks and answered:’That’s very clear. When I got a girlfriend like other people, why is it this tiring? If I knew, I would rather be single like Krit.’
Teetat took offense to that. ‘Hey I’m single too. Don’t you want me to be like that.
Wat tells Teetat he finds his life too complicated, he doesn’t want to get his middle area cut off, he rather be like Krit–reserved.
Krit:’Oy, but I don’t want to be single. If I could choose, I would want a woman by my side like you guys. To live like this, it sores the heart.’
Wat:’Hey, I want to ask you honestly. The woman you like but don’t want to snatch her away from her boyfriend, why don’t you find a new girl?’
Teetat:’Yea that is right? Get a leading actress, a model, it is not hard.’
He shakes his head ‘no’.
‘Finding someone is not hard. I don’t want to date casually. It’s tiring. I want to date and then get marry. And the woman who I am going to marry must be the one from the first minute we meet.’
He thinks about Aew and continue to say. ‘Then it will be right for the rest of our lives.’
His two buddies ponder that thought.
OH my gosh, when the bill came, Pran gives the bill to Aew, it’s a hefty bill too. ‘You pay for it now, I’ll pay you back at the end of the month.’
She was annoyed and he tells her don’t be, he will pay her back when he get his salary and he will treat her for dinner too. Then he just ditches her for work. ‘I have an appointment with an investor, can you go home on your own?’ What a loser boyfriend.
Before he leaves, he tells her he loves her very much and to text him she got home safely. He is taking her for granted.
With Krit, you know he would never do that.
Krit arrives at his cousin Lampao’s house. He is staying with her for the time being before he moves into his new condo. Weirdly, she introduces him to her kids which are her dogs. Her dogs are cute and well trained.
Outside, the cousins have a chat
Lampao:’Why are you moving out of you house and living in a condo?’
Krit:”My house is too big. My parents are living in England and don’t return often. Living alone is lonely.’
Lampao:”If you are lonely get a girlfriend. A guy like you, by lifting just your pinky, the girls will come lining up to choose.’
Krit:’Women are not like dogs. You are no different from me–from your looks, your career–if you lift up one finger, the guys would come lining up too. Why can’t you find a boyfriend?’
Lampao sighs. ‘It’s not that I can’t find one, they are just not good enough.’
Lampao asked if he will be getting a roommate, Kri answered yes. She continued to asked whether it was a guy or a girl. He answered a guy. Quickly, she asked whether he was a crooked guy or a real guy. Gay or straight?
‘A real guy, I’m not gay.’ He answered.
‘If not that is good. I only have one older brother (guy cousin), I don’t want him to have the wrong orientation. I want a laan (nephew or niece).’
Krit teases her. ‘But you can never be sure. I might change my mind when I get heartbroken, start to loathe women, I might run off with a guy.’
She didn’t like that very much and gave him a look of confusion. She later asked her kiddies for reassurance. ‘He is just joking right? He is not really gay right?’
When Wat arrives at Naem’s house and she is waiting for him outside, he gets a verbal lashing.
‘Wat? Why didn’t you pick up the phone? Why didn’t you return my call? Why did you make Tee lie to me? Why did you pick up my call slow? Did you go any where first?’
Then she sees his car, the bumper is broken. ‘Why is your bumper like that? Explain everything clearly to me now.’
He is about to explain everything, she barks at him to stop. She doesn’t want to hear it anymore. She is hungry. BRAT!
Softly he asked her what she wanted to eat, she screams she doesn’t know.
‘Okay then, just go with what I like, I will take care of everything.’ He said.
That response did not please her either. She screams at him again. ‘I’m the one who is hungry, why do we have to eat what you want?’–what,you just said you don’t know what you wanted to eat?
Finally, she tells him to just drive her car. When she thinks of something, they will go there. WOW.
His girlfriend is a riot, she is annoying but I find her character amusing.
Because Pran couldn’t drop her off at the house, she asked her friend Fai to pick her up. They go to a club for drinks. Aew asked her friend why things change so much when people get into a relationship.
‘Before getting into a relationship and after they are in the relationship, why do people change so much?’–cause your boyfriend is not sincere.
Fai said people change, but what is up with her boyfriend Pran, he never changes. Fai can’t stand Pran, he has too many bad qualities.
‘Pran hasn’t change, he just hides his bad qualities well. He doesn’t have enough to spend on his monthly salary and he wants to work with hi-so people.’
Fai is hoping a white knight in shining armor will come save Aew from Pran.
‘A girl like you can find a better guy than Pran.’
Aew:’If finding a guy was that easy, you would have a boyfriend already. I want to tell you something, a decent guy, a guy with a future, from a good family, they date each other (meaning they date people from their similar background), like gay people. The rest of the guys are over there.’
Eying a hot girl playing pool.
Teetat goes to visit his friend Krit at his cousin’s house. Krit left the door open unlocked but didn’t leave the lights on or tell his cousin Lampao that Teetat was coming over. She hears crackling below and thinks it is a robber. Time to whack a false robber with a broom. She does it so well. Krit hears the ruckus from his shower and quickly runs down to see what was up.
When the lights are turned on, Teetat starts yelling at Lampao. ‘You crazy kid, when you are hitting a robber, look at him carefully. A guy who looks as good as me how can he be a robber? Do you have a bad eyesight or are you just dumb?’
Lampao:’Hey you, who is the dumb one? You are the one who is dumb, people have doorbells, why didn’t you ring it?’
Krit comes down and Teetat starts whining to him immediately. ‘Hey Krit, your cousin’s house maid is terrible. She has a foul mouth, has no manners, and she hit me until I was bruise. She doesn’t even apologize, not once. Like this, we need to report her for assault.’
Lampao can’t take it anymore and challenges him to report her to the police, she will say he broke into her house.
Teetat:’Your house?’
Lampao:”Yea, I’m Krit’s cousin! I’m not a maid and not a kid.’
Krit confirms, Lampao is his cousin. Krit checks Teetat’s head, there is blood.
Lampao gets her first aid kit to bandage his wound. Teetat learns Lamapo is a doctor, a vet to be exact.
‘I’m a doctor, not one who is studying to be one.’
Teetat can’t believe it. She looks so young.
While holding a scissor, she teases Teetat that she has to cut his hair around the wound. If he refuses to get stitches from her, he might get an infection or even worst–tetanus. She did use a broom and the broom could have a rusty nail. But not to worry, she has stitched up wounds for hundreds of dogs.
Teetat can’t believe what he is hearing. ‘Dogs?’
Krit had to clarify. She is a dog doctor.
Lampao had to correct him, she is a vet, she cares for all animals, humans too.
Learning that she is a vet, Teetat refuses to get stitches from her.
The next day, Wat checks out his wound. They laughed about what transpired last night. Teetat has never met a girl like Lampao. She looks like a kid, doesn’t have womanly qualities, she is weird, and has a weird name too. Wat finds this amusing, usually Teetat finds every girl cute. Krit interjects that it is a blessing for his cousin that Teetat doesn’t find her appealing.
At Naem’s house, Naem is taunted by her younger sister that her friend Mod is getting engage next month. ‘Your other friend Sandy, is getting married next month. Do you know?’ Noey eggs.
Naem:’ I don’t know.’
Noey continues to taunt her sister. ‘And also P’Day, she had her baby, you know. Also, there is P’Tanya, she got a divorce and is now getting remarried to a rich oil mogul. Do you know?’
HAHA. Naem screams at her sister that she doesn’t know who is getting married, who is having a baby, who is getting engage, it’s none of her business.
‘Hey if you are going to taunt and laugh that I am the only person in the group is who is not getting married, I’m sorry ka, Wat and I are getting married.’
Noey stood up because she couldn’t believe it. Naem ordered her younger sister to post in her facebook, twitter, BB, or whatever social network program she uses that she, Naem, is getting married to Wat and it will be the best wedding EVER!
HAHA. wow. Naem is a riot and delusional.
The boys are off to do something for Krit for his company. Aew is there too.
I`d like to see this tv series, If somebody can tellme where I can find it please, I like thai series but I live in Latinoamerica and Idon`t have much information about it, please I saw this drama in youtube it`s very funny but iti isnt complety then please tellme where I can find it?
I just finished this! When Fai gets her make over she speaks softer and more feminine. Her character is harsh and brash because she is a tomboy in the beginning.
I found Ken as the weakeast link and I hated HATED his wardrobe. The boy is pretty, all he needs is a t-shirt and jeans please! Also, Thee does not work, he lives of the properties his parents owned/rented.
I loved the actress who played Lamphao. She fit the role perfectly. She is ADORABLE and I kind of want to her see her and Mark do a lakorn together as leads. I think they would have great chemistry together.
I think once again, for being a main character, they shorted Mark. I wish they had gone more in depth with his character. I feel like most of the time I was watching everything but the main character’ or leading couples love line.I understand he is a shy, practical kinda guy but wow…you stalked her most of the lakorn and then your guys are married? I kinda forgot about them half way through. I felt no chemistry between Kim and Mark…maybe cause they were brother and sister? (everytime I saw them do something romantic I just cringed thinking that Mark is kissing his sister!) And I do agree that Mark needs to get a few more acting classes, I love him…but I feel like maybe he isn’t living up to the potential that I see in his pretty face. Also, I feel like Mark takes on the same roles over and over again,,,maybe that is why I feel there is no progress in his acting,
Everyone else was okay. I do love this story/plot line though. I am a sucker for family/friends drama and I LOVED the bromance. I want more bromance. All in all, it was a good drama. I was definitely hooked…if not for the romantic loves lines, the bromance was adorable too.
Oh please yaya poo-acting is not so good, bad even. Same constipated face whenever she looks suprised, sad or pissed. People fancy her onscreen pair with Nadesh but even mint is getting better than her at some points, especially emotion.
very hard to watch Ken’s acting in here….he doesn’t connect well with a camera yet…still awkward like I remember Mark used to be in “Ngao Rak Luang Jai”…..surprisinginly, I’ve loved Boy since the beginning in “Hua Jai Song Park”….Kimberly is a very pretty actress…she’s definitely improved….and she may look MATURE, but, i love that because she’s able to take on more roles….compared to baby face beauties like Yaya….i feel like it’s so awkward to watch her play “mature” older sibling roles…for example, like she was Mint’s OLDER sister in “Tawan Deud”…like seriously?? Mint looks WAAAAAYYY older than Yaya by 10-fold….she just looks like a baby. However, i will say her acting is amazing…but I’m waiting to see how she’ll fare with other actors besides Nadech…..she wasn’t terrible with Rome in “Kularb Rai Narm” and she was alright with Mark in “Tawan Dued” but she hits the jackpot with Nadech all the time…it’s gonna get boring to watch them together….just like we got major overload of Ken-Ann that it became tedious to watch….I don’t have much opinions on Toey or Marie…just definitely not a fan of Marie’s voice but whatever….
