Pictures from the prayer/opening ceremony for two Exact Scenario lakorns ‘Buang Wan Waan’ and ‘Jao Mae Jam Bpen’ yesterday May 19, 2012 at the GMM Grammy Place building in Bangkok. They are both remakes.
Buang Wan Waan will star ‘Tono’ Pakin Kumvilaisak and Jui Warattaya as two ill-fated lovers from the past who found each other again in the present. It’s a reincarnation love story a rehash of ‘Roi Ruk Roi Adeed’. As for ‘Jao Mae Jam Bpen’, it’s a romantic comedy with Pong Nawat and ‘Gypsy’ Keerati Mahaprukpong, I vaguely remember the original–rich guy meets younger poor girl–something something, I hated it because of the odd pairing between the beautiful ‘Tong’ Pakkaramai Protranan with TV host Sanya Kunakorn.

I actually find Tono talented. His acting in his mvs are okay so I’ll give him a shot. Like other actors and actresses where they come in and u find their acting horrible but as u watch them more and as they practice more they get better and you like them. For instence: Mint Chalida Vijitwongtong. At first I found her voice annoying and found her acting suckish but when she improved and when I watched her lakorns more, she turned out to kick my favorite #1 actress out of her spot. P’Mint Chalida is my #1 favorite actress now. So just give Tono a chance. All you haters out there

I’m not a biggie of him, but I just hope he makes the Lakorn great. But I’m not really like the pairing.

i too agree about tono. its okay that others don’t agree. but i would still like to state an opinion. i just lol at those who automatically assume people who dislike a person ability to be a hater.
i don’t find Tono attractive either. his acting… well it is sort of in the gutter at least to me. i still look forward to any improvements. i usually give second chances even so third and forth. its usually about the fifth were i will usually avoid that person completely regarding their work unless they are working with some of my top stars.

Tono cant act, not even close to captain, it’s not about tono being too young or not because captain was young back then too but it’s more about the acting and REALLY TONO SUCK.

Hmmm are they changing the story line? Cus in “Roy Ruk Roy Adeed,” the nang eak wasn’t a slave. She was a normal person, rather rich. And I think Tono is too young to play the pra-eak role. Ironically Captain Putanate was the praeak in the previous version haha (Captain – Jui previously dated).

Okay, about “Everyone’s go THEIR taste…” is true. I agree with that but seeing that you think Tono is great makes no sense and we’re not haters (at least some of us aren’t, including me). I don’t hate him. I actually like him. I’m just saying he’s not hot or cute. He’s just okay and NOT pra’ek material. But who knows though, maybe one day he’ll prove a lot of us wrong and move even further up into this world. The guy just needs more practice (as all other actors and actresses as well). I’m pretty sure he’ll develop over time.
Take Bie for example, he started out with nothing. He was NOTHING. With a stroke of luck, hard work, motivation/determination, he came a long way. Look where he is now. He looks better. His acting and vocals improved. His fan is in the millions range. He has garnered international attention.
Who knows? Maybe Tono will turn out like Bie one day. Like you said, people just have different taste and opinions but I’m sure no one here is a Tono hater. Hate is a strong word. People who criticize him just simply dislike him. There is no reason to hate him anyway. He’s just trying to make a living out of what he likes to do.
If you felt I took his too seriously, I apologize for that but that’s just what I think.
In addition, to the person that is itching to beat someone’s a**, take a chill pill and calm down because there is no need for violence. And as far as I know, the comment box down here is for sharing your thoughts and opinions (just like you did).
