A few weeks ago, long time friends DJ Buddha and actor Peter Corp Dyrendal got into a fight at a club, Peter was punched in the face and needed a few stitches on his lips but nothing too serious. Peter accused DJ Buddha of being overly aggressive and would like an apology from his friend.
Peter’s side of the story:
‘I think it is an misunderstanding. My personality is that I like to tease people. I went to tease him and he got annoyed with me. I got hurt a little bit, I got 3 stitches on my mouth, my right teeth hit the flesh of my mouth, my teeth pierced through the flesh and I got a sore beneath my left eye. I didn’t get punched, I got mobbed. People at the incident said I went up to talk to him for a minute and then came back down to the floor. There was 2 rounds. The second around I went up to tell him I was leaving. I told my friend he was too harsh and said to not do this again. After that, I came back down to meet my friends.’
‘I will accept it was violent. I don’t understand why he took it to that extent beyond that of a friend. I went to tease him like I normally do. I went to cover his eyes and face. I didn’t say anything taunting. We have known each other for 10 years.’
Peter said he doesn’t remember some of the details from the incident because his head was pretty banged up.
There are rumors they were fighting over a girl, Peter denies it. He normally teases Buddha but this time it was different, he is still confused by Buddha’s reaction.
‘Lets just forget about it, I am healed. Your body can get hurt but it will heal. But your feelings, it will take a while.’
Peter doesn’t know if he wants to end his friendship with Buddha. They haven’t discussed that yet. Khan of the Thai rap group Thaitanium is their go to person to resolve their spat. Most definitely he will not get the authorities involve.
The one thing he does want is an apology from DJ Buddha.
DJ Buddha’s side of the story:
Peter went too far with the teasing and DJ Buddha was working. Peter was drunk and hit DJ Buddha 3 times on the head while he was deejaying.
That night at the club there were several deejays from around the world for a show. All their friends were there, even Peter. He came around 10: 30pm and was drunk. Once he came, he started to tease everyone. After that he went up to see Buddha at the deejaying station. He stood behind Buddha and lifted him up. Normal. Peter is typically like this. He likes to tease people. They greeted each other with a clap.
But as Buddha is working, Peter didn’t stop messing with him. He hit Buddha in the head twice. He even pressed Buddha’s head down on the deejaying table. Everyone saw according to Buddha.
Buddha was angry and hit Peter once to help him realize what he was doing. Buddha accuses Peter of ruining his concentration and work.
Peter said he was ganged up by Buddha’s people. There was no ganging up or mobbing said Buddha. After that, the guards took Peter away. Khan of Thaitanium brought them back together on the floor to shake hands in front of their friends and they did. That would have been the end of it. Peter went outside and Buddha went back to deejaying.
Round 2, an hour later, Peter came back inside the club with two bodyguards not associated with the club. He went up to the deejaying station and asked Buddha why he was punched.
Buddha answered simply: ‘don’t hit me while I am working.’
But Peter didn’t stop asking. He asked Buddha the same question 3-4 times. Buddha answered him each time: ‘when you do this you went too far, I am working. Don’t come here.’
Peter continued to harassed Buddha, putting him in a headlock and when he wouldn’t let go, Buddha gave him a warning–release his neck or get punch. He didn’t so he got punched. Their friends had to break them up. One of the guys that came with Peter lifted up his shirt and it appeared like he was getting a weapon from his waist.Their friends close by saw that and came to help them out and it caused a complete chaos.
Buddha admits he was angry and people did see that guy lifting up his shirt like he was about to get a weapon from his waist.
Buddha tried to contact Peter the next day by phone but he didn’t pick up. Since that didn’t work, he texted him and Peter replied back with a picture of himself with a wounded face. Buddha does feel hurt by the incident, he felt hurt that Peter brought two people who were not involved in the incident to cause more trouble. It should have ended when they shook hands the first time around. It should not have escalated into this. Buddha blames Peter drunkenness and his anger for their fight.
From Buddha: ‘Peter said he wants an apology from me and I am ready to give that apology but he has not picked up his phone. You can check my phone to see if I have tried calling him. I want people to understand why I didn’t speak out since the beginning, I thought about our friendship. I didn’t want Peter’s image to look bad. Considering our friendship, I thought it would be best if I didn’t say anything. People who have known each other for 10 years would not easily have an issue if they are not mad or angry if there is no reason. I hope that people understand where I am coming from.’

Don’t mess with the DJ.
Sometimes tough love is needed. The punched was justified.
If people can’t handle their liquor then they shouldn’t drink. I would punch my own brother if he beat me or embarrassed me in front of everyone. DJ Buddha was trying to work but, Peter had to keep being a douche bag. Bringing weapons to a fight is a low move too.
I guess hitting someone’s head repeatedly isn’t considered disrespectful anymore huh? Even in America, my friends joke around using profanity sometimes play fight, but we never EVER hit eachother’s head because it’s a sign of disrespect. Peter deserved that knock back into reality.
No matter what, you shouldn’t hit people especially so when you knew that
the one bothering you was not in his right mind. also, if friends around saw
that the actor Peter was drunk , they should helped gather Peter away from
the DJ and not just wait until things got out of hand.
In my opinion, these two guys should say sorry to each other and keep their
friendship.
True. Dj Buddha’s story had a more serious tone. Peter’s story was merely just, “I joked, got beat up, are we still friends? IDK. I want and apology.” if it really was just a misunderstanding like he claims then both side needs to apologize, not just Dj Buddha.
Somehow i believe DJ Buddha’s story rather than Peter.
