And the most wonderful thing is that his fiance Suwalee or Sook tells him that Nit is not his wife, she is his father’s new mistress from the country who is a singer. Oh HELL no! At that moment, I wanted to smack her with my Old Navy black flip flops. Seriously, why would you do that?Just because he dated you first it doesn’t mean you are his true love. She couldn’t handle the competition, so she lied.
It’s really depressing, today’s episode was all about Nit and her estrangement from Siam–her soulmate. The person she would die for she told his father. She actually became suicidal when he couldn’t remember her and when she learned his father would not accept her. It’s downright sad. She wanted to jump off a bridge.
The night before, Nit has a dream of San waking up from the surgery and remembering her. They planned their life together, how they would spend the weekend at See Chang island and the weekdays in Bangkok for work. She happily agrees.
The next morning, Nit wakes up late and arrives at the hospital with her father-in-law to find Suwalee already there. Suwalee is the first person that San sees and recognizes. He recognizes his father and calls out for him. Sup Dad! Then he looks at Nit. Who is that? Before his father could tell him, Suwalee whispers in his ears that Nit is his father’s new mistress from the countryside.
Enraged San yells at his father saying his father couldn’t stop with one, he had to get another one–much younger and lowdown like his other mistress.
San gave Nit a look of disgust and she starts to weep and comes over to him begging him to remember her, calling him by his island name ‘Siam’. He is baffled and enraged by that name, like who is Siam? I don’t know who that fool is. The most disturbing thing is the gratification on Suwalee’s face. Nit is dying inside– her true love, her soulmate doesn’t remember her and the wrong thing, he thinks she is his father’s new mistress.
