The Sixth Sense: Ep 18 the proposal

Photobucket
With the case of the witch doctor Mor Somkit coming to a close, Trirat (Trairat) has made the decision to marry Rot played by twenty-one year old  ’Eyeye’ Kamolned Ruengsri; they been through a lot these past few episodes–she fending off Mor Somkit’s voodoo ghost magic on his family–his mom was put under a spell that pretty much made her loony toons psycho. Their battles with Mor Somkit proved to Trirat that our girl Rot is the one who truly cares for him and his family and not his ex-girlfriend Katie (Katee) played by Natalie Davis.

His proposal.

Rot has been sulking over the fact that Trirat was almost killed by Mor Somkit who morphed himself as Katie– Rot is upset because Trirat hesitated with the image of Katie in front of him which means he still has feelings for Katie. Trirat has been trying his best to mend the fences with Rot–he assures her that even if  Katie strips down naked in front of him, he will not waver ever. She doesn’t buy it.

At the store (I think the store), all the sixth sense crew are just standing around chatting, then walks Rot followed by Trirat to the room. He stands beside and tries to give her a card from his parents—a payment for the work she has done.

She refuses to accept the payment arguing she didn’t do it for the money, she did it out of compassion because she cares. Her friends encourged her to take the money, they desperately need it. No need to act prideful now, it’s their job to handle supernatural cases because they have special sixth sense gifts. If Rot is not gonna take it, they will accept the payment on her behalf.

The girls opened the envelope, it’s not a check or any type of payment, it’s a card with a question on it. ‘Will you marry me’–this is intended for Rot from Trirat.

On hearing her friends read the card, Rot takes the card and reads it herself. Trirat takes the ring from his pocket and goes down on bended knee.

This is the best line ever!

Trirat:’Everything that my Pah and Ma can give you is everything that we have. And the reason I am doing this in front of you is because I don’t want to lose you.”

She starts to cry and wipes her tears away.

Trirat:’I am saying this not because I want you to protect me, it’s because I LOVE YOU.’

Bazing!

“Marry me please?’ He says with a big goofy smile.

Her friends start to chant–marry him, marry him. Rot smiles a little.

And the mood is ruined by the appearance of good old KATEE—everyone was like great, her again. In seeing Katie, Rot does not give Trirat an answer, she simply walked away. What the who Katie, disappear.
