Bc Thai had collaborated with Japanese they probably had to use a Japanese girl to be main girl. Therefore this movie can also make it big in Japan. Its all about business here, think about it, if this movie was only thai, would any Japanese watch it?
I disagree because anyone would watch a good movie. As long as the characters are well written and the actors portrayal of the role is good. Think about American movies. Do you see a lot of thai actors or Actresses? No but you still make the effort to go watch it. It isn’t about her being Japanese or Chinese or even thai. I think people have a problem with her image of not looking the part of her character. Like I said in my other post she doesn’t look like the character she is meant to play.
I agree that she doesn’t look Thai and also it doesn’t feel like koo gum. More of
a war history movie. I’m going to give it a try though just to make sure. But right now I am 50/50. I do wish they would have gotten someone more like a common Thai girl because this girl looks more Japanese than the traditional character of Angsamalin.

looks like it was shot beautifully, great stills of Nadech, he looks incredible. No comment about the girl. I’m not sure how I feel about her.

People were right!!! They should have used a less white girl for this movie. This girl looks nothing like Thai. Too bad the entire Thailand cannot find a single 100% Thai girl to play this part because Thai actresses are either all whites or mixed white. What a shame to Thai people.
I actually believe there is 100% thai girls but i highly believe that the production crew just did want to use them and they probably have their reasons so lets hope that this girl is actually good at acting to prove to us why they used her, but looking at it thai borans usually use girls who are truly thai.
