Two desires, a common theme for lakorns.

“Song Pratthana (Two Desires)” is Paula Taylor and Pong Nawat’s first lakorn together and filming has begun since the 25th of this month. The lakorns stars Kem Rujira as the nang’rai, usually she plays nang’ek (leading lady) for Ch3. It’s not an official move to Ch5, it’s just one project. The supporting cast includes: Guy Ratchanon with “Pim” Pimmada Borriruksooppakorn and Puri Hiranpruk with Aerin Siripon.

It’s something different said Paula Taylor about “Two Desires”, she has never done something like this before.  Paula has been away from lakorns for 4 years, this series marks her return. The lakorn is a romantic drama and the actors described it as ‘intense’. All lakorns are intense.

Pong with his nang’ek and nang’rai. Kem described her character as two-faced, a schemer, a girl who acts nice on the inside but is really a conniving person.

Too much make-up, over the top red blush, red lipstick–short dress, short green skirt, I just don’t know. I don’t want to be rude. She looks like a gypsy h–ker. There, I said it.

Put that flamingo leg down, we don’t need a peep show of your —-. I’m not judging her, I just think wow. We are seeing changes– A new image?

TV Pool magazine screwed Pancake with this photoshoot.  Hate the cut-up/ torn orange dress on the cover, hate the make-up. They went overboard with the blush, like they were angry that day. WTF is up with the black bow tie, the headband, the weird hat. Don’t like.

That is such an effort. These kids, working way so hard over something so trivial.

Okay, lets get started. Note walked in first to Nana and Way’s wedding, which made reporters wonder–Hmmm…why is this fool here?. Then 10 minutes later, we have “Aum” Patcharapa Chaichuea walking in. Ah Ha. He’s here with her. Not yet.

Soon after Aum posed for a picture  with the bride and groom, Note did the same after her. They refused to take the photo together, which drove the media crazy. The media begged Aum for an interview. She refused.

After the wedding, they did the same thing. Note left first and was later followed by Aum. According to the media, once she left the wedding reception, she called Note to ask where he was. He was waiting for her at the entrance of the hotel, at the parking area. Of course, they would do this. Aum was followed by reporters and photograpers has she left. They found Aum and Note together and begged the couple to pose together–to which they did. Peer pressure can do that to you. After that, Aum got onto her van and so did Note.

It’s time to pose together. Did she really think she could pull this off? Outsmart the media. Impossible.

Mario Maurer’s first project with Ch3 is described as the guy version of “Baan Saithong (The Golden Thread House)”, is that good? I have never seen “Baan Saithong”, any version–whether is be Saranyu and Monruedee’s version or the 2000 Num Sornram and “Joy” Rinlanee Sripen’s remake. It’s not a full remake, the story is sampled from the popular series and given the title: “Plerng Toranong (Proud Flame)”. Miss Aff-lookalike Taew Nataporn is in this as Mario Maurer’s leading lady. Thai pop-star slash crooner Aof Pongsak is the guy villain. Aof described his character as a total douche–from drinking, gambling, the full works, his character is involve in everything society would deem ‘unacceptable’. I get the feeling Aof will outshine Mr. Teen Idol Mario over there.

Yowser, that was rude. I did not say that at all. Two words: Thai Netizens.

Background information: his name is “Junior” Wat Watphon, he is heir to a communication company. She is Cris Horwang, Thai film actress. The couple made an appearance together to Prinya “Way” Intachai and Nana Rybena Tanwimol’s wedding this past Sunday. He was a groomsmen, she came as his date. Note, they are dating.

Now some of the comments left at Manager news website about this couple:

“In the end, she choose a rich guy.”
“Women, they like good guys, date bad boys, and marry rich men.”
“This is what I think…he’s not a ‘junior’ anymore, he’s a JUMBO…huh? huh?”–so rude
“A Pig and a Chicken…they are taking a picture together right there.”–Oh good grief, they are so rude

And this person went on and on about how girls want to marry rich guys because they want to live in comfort.
“Why ka? Am I wrong to want a rich husband? If I marry him, I will live in comfort. I will have a husband who can care for me. Even if he is fat, no handsome, no matter how ugly his face is. If he is rich, everything will cover that. If I date a good-looking guy, what can you do? Can he take good care of me? Good or bad, I would have to care for him. If you want a good-looking/muscular to mend to polish, there are many to choose from. But the rich guys, they are hard to come by. Even if he has a mistress and we get a divorce, I will leave with something with me (she means alimony) la na.”—ummm okay. I know it was written in a joking way. I’m sorry, I don’t need a guy to take care of me. I can take care of myself.

I’m not sure. Does she? There is extra skin between her index toe and big toe, which makes it look like a duck’s webbed feet. It’s not a big deal. Genetics is random.

Kob is amusing, she painted one of her toes yellow when the rest are magenta colored.

It was a great looking wedding and ALSO “Aum” Patcharapa Chaichuea brought her man Note to the wedding. SHOCKER!

First we have to talk about the wedding. Prinya “Way” Intachai and “Nana” Rybena Tanwimol’s wedding celebration started on July 22th at a mosque for Nana’s Muslim mother. Because Nana’s mother is Muslim, they had to perform an Islamic wedding ceremony at Ramkhamhaeng road to respect her wishes. Today, they had their traditional Thai wedding starting at 7:29am with the groom precession to his bride surrounded by his elders, close family, and friends. Then, they had their engagement ceremony at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel and their reception was held at the hotel’s ballroom.

Nana adores her wedding ring, according to her it is the best in the world because it was given to her by the one she loves.

“The ring that I’m wearing right now is narak (lovable, cute) and the best in the world from what I have seen because it is a ring given to me by the person I love (Smiles).”

Nana doesn’t know how many carats it has, it is a ring that is good enough for her and the best. The jewelry set she wore to the reception was given to her by Way and his family. She is very grateful for it.

The couple’s wedding house will be at Way’s condo in Sukhumvit Road and they plan to honeymoon in Rome, Italy. Compared to other couples, Nana and Way have talked about having kids and are opened about it. Nana said she wants 3 while Way thinks that 2 is enough.

“I want children right away; however, we will let it happen naturally. If it happens right away, it will be good. If not, we will continue working. Nana wants 3 kids; however, I just want 2. The reason she wants 3 is because my mother want 3 kids,” said Way.

After they are married, they plan to live life as before. She will not quit her job and be a stay at home wifey. She will continue on her work and so will he.

“After we are married, myself and P’Way will work and live as before. We will both work to make a living. Our way of life won’t change that much. It’s just that we will be living together now and spend more time together than before. Whether I’m going to be a housewife or not, I think I’m good enough. I will try. His mother taught me, you have to be both skilled in your outside professional life and home life. I will try.”

Their promise to each other:

Nana: Before, I promised P’Way that I will be his best girlfriend because I don’t want him to feel regretful. Upon this day, I will be his best wife forever.”

Way: “As for my promise, I promised to take care of her forever, care for her to the best of my abilities, and to love her everyday. I told her parents that I will take good care of her.”

The theme for their wedding was diamonds and they had 12 pairs of groomsmen and bridesmaid. That’s like 24 people! Good golly!

There were 4 bouquets. The first was given to Janie, she was delighted and joked: at other weddings, she had to fight for it and never got a bouquet. This time it was easy. It was handed to her. The second one went to Ann Alisha and the third went to Nana’s friend. The fourth was snatched up by Paula Taylor’s boyfriend Edward, which made Paula smiled and laughed.

Look at that, Aum brought her man Note. So what does that mean, they are officially dating now?

Janie is the face of Maybelline and she gets to be serenaded by Pachara “Fluke” Thammon, good deal. The girls were really bad, really bad at dancing. It was awful to watch.

I know it looks like he is  midget compared to her, they are the same height.

Not really my most anticipated lakorn, nonetheless it is airing soon on Ch5.

The plot of this lakorn centers around 3 best friends: Duanphen (Nat Myria), Kaewta (“Jeab” Sopitnapa Choompaneewho, and Kameuay (“Pei” Parnward Hemmanee), who unintentionally killed and kidnapped a child. Because I’m lazy, you can read more about the plot here.
