The boys’ interview with Komchadluek newspaper minus Nichkhun, the only Thai member of this Korean boyband. I believe, at that time, Nichkhun was at the hospital getting a check-up because of the whole swine flu scare.
For this single, how has it change for each person?
Chansung: “From the previous single, we were all still young, still growing. For this single, we become men, more stylish men. Our clothes have changed, we are dressing in more comfortable clothes. Today, our group is dressing more alike.”
Coming to Thailand this time around, is it different from the previous time? If so, how?
Wooyoung: “The last time, we came as part of OneDay. This time around, we came as 2pm to promote our album in Thailand. I feel we have become an ourselves, I feel impressed and very proud.”
When will you have a concert of your own?
Junho: “We would like to have one too, but you just have to wait a little longer.”
The aim of your group is what?
Wooyoung and Taec:”All 7 of us love to dance since we were young. Each person has a idol of their own. As artists, we want to model after our dream idol.”
How did you feel to have meet the Prime Minister of Thailand?
Chansung: “Very excited, in my life, I have never experience something like this. I felt proud.”
Lets talk about something lighter, who in this group dresses the best?
Wooyoung: “Junho, Jaebeom, and Junsu dresses the best. Not only do they have a lot of clothes, they know how to style themselves. In our group, we borrow from each other interchangeably. If one member does not have an item, he borrows it from another member. Even hats we borrow from each other.”–That is very true, they do borrow each other clothes A LOT. You can tell!
Who buys the most clothes?
4 members laugh and turn to their friend: “Junsu and Junho, to the point where we call them Jun Brothers.”
Have you ever been angry with each other?
Junho and Taec:”Even though we are a group that has been together for a long time and are very light-hearted and fun, there are times where we do become angry with each other. We talk about it. Also, each member of this group have a memory issue. We are forgetful. Angry one minute, forget it the next.”
When someone is sick, which one does most of the nurturing?
Junsu and Wooyoung:”I think you have to take care of yourself (Laughs). We all help take care of the person and help in buying medicine.”
Can each of you say something in Thai?
Junho:”Naruk (Cute)”
Jaebeom:“Pom Ruk Koon (I love you)”
Wooyoung:“Tangmoe Pan (Watermelon Shake)”
Taec: “Mai Pen Rai Krap (It’s alright)”
Junsu: “Hiw Mak (I’m very hungry)”
Chansung:“Chan Ruk Koon (I Love you)” –he used the girly way and the intimate way of saying it.
Do you have nicknames you intimately use among the members only?
Taec:”No, not really. We just call each other ‘hey’, something along those lines more so.”
We heard Wooyoung was on a diet?
Wooyoung:“It was my personal achievement, I haven’t noticed it but people around me did. They would ask why did I go on a diet. Before you were so cute, they were concern. Truthfully, there was no technique to it, I just did more fitness. I have stopped because I’m working more and I fear I might not have the energy to dance.”—Don’t ever go on a diet, your chipmunk cheeks must stay.
Has anyone been in Thailand alone?
Taec:”I have, I went to Pattaya alone, I went on a Krabi SpeedBoat, the water was very clear. You feel very happy out there. The water was very beautiful.”
The rest of the guys joked:”We wanna go, lets go now.”
Do you know any Thai artists?
6 guys:”We know Golf and Mike (They answered in unison)”
How do you know them?
Wooyoung:“Three years ago, I had an opportunity to film a show called “Superstar Survivor” in Thailand and had the opportunity to meet them.”
This time around, were you able to meet up again?
Junsu:“Before, we did, when we were at the Modern 9 Entertainment Awards. We performed after Golf and Mike, that’s how we saw them again. We greeted each other, they are still cool like before.”
