Aff is not engaged and does not make 200,000 baht

Contrary to what is being written and what is being talked about in gossip circles, Miss “Aff” Taksaorn Paksukcharean is not engaged to Songkran nor does she make 200,000 baht per appearance. At least that is what she is saying. Who knows the truth. Celebrities always deny every rumor. Fact or fiction? We, as observers, find out months or years later.

Firstly, “Wanida”, Aff’s lakorn with “Tik” Jesadaporn Pholdee will finish filming next week.

“One more week, we will finish filming. It was difficult. I had to ride a horse, but I had the basic in that already,” said Aff. Basically when she say she has the basic of riding a horse already, she is hinting that Songkran taught her beforehand. He does own a high-class Western themed resort. They gotta have horses for that.

Songkran and Aff has been sighted together often. They do, they are dating.

“We go out occasionally. He does have a lot of work, but he makes time for me ka.”

There are rumors that she is building a marriage house for herself and Songkran. She is not. It’s her dad’s house.

“That house project, my dad is designing it. I wanted to work with him on it. A thing that I want you to know is that it is a house project that will be sold.” Meaning it is a business venture, not a marriage house.

Aff does not demand 200,000 baht ($6,181 USD) per appearance that is why we don’t see her often at events nor does she make that much per appearance anyways. “There is nothing like that. If there was, it would be great. Right now, I just have many restrictions, I am still a brand ambassador. If the work is for a similar product, I can’t accept the work. If I can accept the work, I would.”

Now on to the juice. If Pinky comes to work for Ch3, is Aff scared there might be an issue?

“It’s not true at all. There won’t be anything like that. I won’t be involve in it. I believe that myself and Pinky can separate personally affairs and work.”—awww man, no cat-fights. Darn!

Aff trust both Songkran and Pinky. Okay, whatever you say.

Ch3 will move forward

Ch3 has been down for 2 days Wednesday and Thursday since the attacks. Taped broadcasting will resume today May 21, 2009 (Thailand time), at 6pm. Since I live in the US, east coast, that would be 6am tomorrow morning. Though Ch3 will begin broadcasting, they can not do live shows because their building is still damage. Kohchan Mongkhoncharoen, an executive of Ch3 for the news department, talked with Thairath newspaper online about the current state of the Ch3 building. Mr. Mongkoncharoen did not want to talk about the damages to the building, rather he talked about moving forward and healing the mental state of his employees.

“Yesterday when everyone was trapped on the 6th floor, there were 100 people, each individual  were in a state of fear, but were able to escape. I don’t want to talk about the damages. Right now, I have come to inspect the building with the Bangkok police. The foundation of the building is okay, there are shattered glass windows, I consider it minor. Right now, the Thai Royal Police have sent men over, I think the situation will become better.

The ground floor of the building is nearly all damaged, furniture was destroyed, glass windows were shattered, retail shops located there were damaged, the Bangkok bank was destroyed. As for the broadcasting building, the technical instruments used for broadcasting was not damage.  Besides that, 6 automobiles were burned, a news vehicle and vehicles of  the employees. We can still work, but we can’t work in our full capacity. We are restarting our signals, but  we are slow because there are many systems to connect. Also, the springers continue to go off, there is water around continuously. We have to pump out the water to check the electrical system.”

Mr. Kohchan Mongkhoncharoen continue to say: “The damages I don’t have to emphasize it much, if you come, you can see it for yourself. No matter the damages to the building or the issues regarding the bill, you can just talk about it, it will just be that. I want everyone to look beyond it. I’m more concern about the damages to our mental state. I feel more towards that. I want to heal everyone’s morale. If they are ready, they can come back to work.”

A video of Ch3 workers safely out of the building. You can see Beam Saranyo (2:16) standing around, looking up at the helicopter overhead. He’s smoking too. There is a part at the beginning where a police officer is urging the men of the family to stay, to protect their homes and encouraged the women and children to leave. If not, red-shirt protesters will burn their houses. “If you listen to me, your losses will be less”, he told bystanders who were ready to leave.
