A week of revelation for Sudkhet and Khun Dee

They are loyal and true, but their significant others have not been. This week, finally, they learned the truth.

Monday’s episode of “Mon Ruk Mae Nam Moon”, supporting pra’ek who will never get the girl Sudkhet played by “Porsche”  Saran Siriluksana learned that the man he thought was dead is still alive. Sudkhet is a lovable spoiled little brat Thai Pop Star, his character is definitely  modeled after Bie Sukrit, not the spoiled little brat part but the cheesy dance moves and catchy pop tunes that is associated with Bie Sukrit. The way he dresses too, it’s obvious.

Sudkhet is in love with Deun played by Jui Warattaya, she is his personal assistant and the daughter of his mother’s best friend from the country. By an angry force kiss by Sudkhet to Deun, they were caught in a scandal by the Thai paparazzi and their kiss was printed across every Thai tabloid news magazine. To save face and Deun’s reputation, their elders decided to have them get engage–a real engagement not a farce one. It was win-win situation for everyone, except Deun. She is in love with another guy, her boyfriend Pin played by “Weir” Sukollawat Kanaros from back home. Deun’s parents disapproved of Pin because he is a poor school teacher from the country.

Donut says she is old enough to pose in a BIKINI

I agree, she’s old enough and she looks fine. Tah Warit, on the other hand, what the fudge man, put some clothes on. His body doesn’t match his face. Muscleman body, pretty boy face, kinda weird.

Actress “Donut” Manusnun Punlertwongsakul posed in a bikini for Volume magazine for their April 2010 issue for the 2nd time in 3 years and some Thai netizens disapprove. Donut disagrees. She is 27 years old and is old enough to do whatever she wants. She’s an ADULT.

“The truth is there has been many offers for me to pose in a bikini before this issue. But then I had a chat with P’Luk Nam from Volume magazine, to who I have worked with several times before and feel happy working with. This time when P’Luk Nam invited me to pose in a bikini, I felt at ease because she knows my style. When I made my decision, I didn’t think too much of it. I took it as a job. It’s been 3 years and I’m 27 now. I don’t consider myself a bold person. I consider it a natural thing. I’m grown now. The work that I have done goes in line with my age.”–True.

The feedback from Thai netizens on the world wide web has not been positive. It’s too much they complained.

“I don’t think it’s TOO much. I saw the picture already. You have to have some posing  (meaning sexy poses) to make the photos more womanly. It was professionally done and I know my limit. I did not plan to make it sexy, but I wanted it to be naturally sexy–to have it still be me.”

Donut did consider some of her poses overly sexy, the one where she is laying down and she had to arch up and the one where she had to lay on the boat and close her eyes, she thought those two were overly sexy. Amat, the photographer encouraged her to do it because it made her look slimmer and more womanly.

She told her parents about it and they approve. “I told her  (mom) it was a swimsuit photoshoot, she didn’t say anything because she trust my choice in work. She knows my work limit. I told her there might be photos where I lift my legs and laid down. As for my dad, he saw the proofs, he was okay with it because it turned out looking pretty.”

Now what about her boyfriend Ben. “I just told him and he didn’t say anything. It’s not that he is not concern, he just does not like to interfere with my work. He knows how much I can do. Another point, we have an easy dating situation. Before I went to the photoshoot I was more anxious, I feared he wouldn’t be able to accept it (laughs), but he never said anything.”

Donut did lose weight for the photoshoot. “P’Luk Nam contacted me 3 months ahead, so I made an effort to lose weight slowly before someone complained that I was fat. I exercised and 2 weeks before my photoshoot, I watched what I ate. I didn’t eat any trifling things. I lost 2-3kgs (4-6lbs). My exercising made me look muscular. Now, I’m gaining the weight back because I’m HUNGRY after I have restricted myself for a period (laughs).”

hey, they match. Awesome.

Opening ceremony pictures for 3 TV Scene lakorns

Ae in the weird red and black dress, Oh Petchlada, Donut Manusnun, Benz, Aum Atichart, and Janie

Today, three TV Scene lakorns: Jong Kol King Tien (Trickery of the Rose Balsam, จงกลกิ่งเทียน), Su Yipta (Fight to the End, สู้ยิบตา), and Khun Nu Shantana (Young Master Shantana, คุณหนูฉันทนา) had their opening ceremony and went into production.

Originally, the lead roles for “Jong Kol King Tien (Trickery of the Rose Balsam)” would have been Janie Tienposuwan, Aum Atichart, and “Ae” Issariya Saisanan. Because of scheduling or maybe the role not fitting Aum Atichart, they decided to go with Great Warinton as pra’ek. It is a supernatural lakorn filled with revenge and murder. Several murders, I might add. “Tui” Kiatkamol Latha is the murderous villain and a few of his fans are not too happy about that. Janie is the main nang’ek and Ae is the ghost, who is out for revenge and uses Janie’s body to get back at her husband played by Tui for murdering her and her family for wealth.

The cast and characters for “Jong Kol King Tien (Trickery of the Rose Balsam)”:
“Ae” Issariya Saisanan as Tienkanya
Janie Tienposuwan as Princess Buakamkaew
Great Warinton as Son
“Tui” Kiatkamol Latha as Apphanda
“BOY” Pisanu Nimsakul as Prince Songmeuang
“Tao” Sarocha Watitapun as Ruenjai
Meiji as Pakafah
Paeng Panchanida as Aree
Thrika Thidatit as Princess Bualawong
Tawan as Aunt Lamom
Pitmai as Aunt Charat

Brief synopsis:

Son (Great Warinton) and Tienkanya (Ae) grew up together, Son is her adopted brother. They live together in the same house with Tienkanya’s father and younger brother Gomut.

When Gomut dies from an illness, Tienkanya meets Apphanda at his funeral. Apphanda (Tui) befriends Tienkanya and seduces her. Tienkanya believes she has found the man of her dreams and quickly marries him, though the person she trust the most Son disapproves. Son knows the true side of Apphanda. He has seen him deceive women and fear he will do the same to Tienkanya. When Apphanda moves into Tienkanya’s house, Son is kicked out.

Soon afterwards, Tiankanya’s family members start dying mysterious; she becomes suspicious of her husband Apphanda. Before she finds proof that he is the culprit, he murders her. Tienkanya doesn’t die completely, her body dies but her spirit remains. The heavens give her Princess Buakamkaew’s body for use. Tienkanya doesn’t know how she got into Princess Buakamkaew’s body but she believes the beings that gave her a second chance what wrongs to be set right. She uses Princess Buakamkaew’s body to take revenge on Apphanda.
