Pancake looked great, the rest look like Avatars!

Yea, yea, Manager Thai netizens are complaining again–female Thai stars were showing too much skin at the 7th annual TV Inside Hot Awards show this past Sunday, August 15th. The phrase ‘boob show’ was mentioned. Haha. But my most favorite comment from a Thai netizen regarding this subject involved Pancake and the film Avatar. Pancake wore a modest, orange, 1950′s style, formal cocktail dress–the color matched her boyfriend’s dress shirt. Good gosh, they are matching again. Once in a while is okay, but they do it so often, it bugs me. They’re like Thailand’s Ken and Barbie, they should just be Pancake and Weir. Oy. Sorry for the rant. You know me when it comes to couples matching, it’s irritates me to the core.

The comment:”Out of all of them, Pancake looked the best. She looked natural. The rest, they look like avatar.”–meaning they look fake, freakish. HAHA. That’s my interpretation.

For the love of cheese, both these boys need to lay off the make-up.

Due apologizes, people are still not amuse

Due has apologized to the “Isan Ruk Gan (Isan Friendly Club)” for insulting “Maple” Patchuda Panphipat calling her a lao person without respect. The ‘lao’ insult is used by everyone. It wasn’t severe, said Due. She had not intended to insult the whole Isan and Lao community. Due also thanked everyone for making her an example. WHAT? OH these kids. You used it as an insult and now you are saying you did not mean to insult anyone. Wah? Scratch head.

“Regarding the news that I used the term ‘lao’, I would have to apologize because I did not mean to look down on the Lao community.  I would have to thank the media for giving me a warning and making me a case for others. It’s a good thing too (WTF? she is so weird). I will have to stop using this type of language from now on. The truth is this type of language is used by everyone. Since I’m a public person, I should not use that word. I wrote it on my BB, it was not meant to be release [to the public].  Lets just say I did not intended to be like this and I apologize, ” Due apologized. Or did she?

“Regarding this, I will consider it as a lesson. It’s a good thing, it will make me stop using hat type of language again. I have stopped using it, I replaced it with another word or  not use at all.  Other people probably fear using this word now, I have thought of stopping because it strikes a cord with our neighboring country; they have done nothing wrong. I did not mean anything by it. Lets just say, I’ll be an example.”

“I would like to pass an apology on to the Isan community. I did not intended it to be like this, I did not mean it in that way. Regardless, I would like to apologize. I would like to be an example for others not to insult others using the word ‘lao’; it’s a rude remake to others. The truth is, it is a word stuck in our mouths to insult, really the meaning it’s not that bad.”—What kind of effing apology is this? It’s not even. You’re insulting a whole nation, stereotyping that group of having no respect and it’s not serious? hmmmm…it shouldn’t be stuck in your mouth.

Though she apologized, Thai and Lao netizens are still not happy with Due.

Here are ome of their comments from Manager news websites; Thai netizens are the best, they’re rude and don’t hold back.

“That E-plastic face, liar. For those who agree, press the approve button. Vomit.”

The next netizen started out his comment by quoting Due, “this type of language is used by everyone. Since I’m a public figure I shouldn’t use it.” Then he added, “the truth is this type of language is not used by everyone, it’s only used by individuals who don’t know how to think, are not cautious when they speak. It’s insulting to Laos people. Even if you are not a public person, you shouldn’t use this type of language.”–True, I concur!

Another Thai netizen brought up Michael Jackson to insult Due. HAHA.

“Her face is like Michael Jackson. Her mouth is like a dog. Her brain is like a buffalo. You can only use her to prop up the legs of a refrigerator.”

“Even when she comes out to apologize, she sounds conceited. I can’t handle it if Golf believes and likes someone who is this aggressive.”

A threat was made by a Lao Netizen to Due: ” MUNG MAA LAO MUNG TAI NAE (If you come to Laos, you’re dead)”.

More insults by Thai netizens:”Her brain is as small as a dog. Her conduct was low-class.”

“This is a good thing, she just came out to make Lao people hate on Thai people even more when she said everyone used that word. The truth is the only people are born vile use that word to insult others. I want to throw shit at Thai society for managing to survive again.”

Out of all the angry comments, one stood out because it wasn’t angry, it was intelligent.

“I have to look at her and other celebrities who use ‘lao’ nonchalantly, see them (lao people) as inferior, like how they understand it to be. People in Bangkok are mix. Those people don’t know about their ancestral background at all. I will share this with you to get Buddhist merits. Lao people are one part of Bangkok’s ancestral background. To start with, Bangkok is comprise of many groups. Thai Ayuthaya is one group, but not the largest group. Mostly it’s Chinese, Khon Lao, Khun Mon (people from Burma), Cambodians, Vietnamese,  Malay and Thai mix together to make up the people of Bangkok. Lao is one strain in our ancestral background.. In our country we have the highest lineage of Lao. When you say Laotians are inferior you are insulting yourself. Remember that!”
