3 brothers, 1 girl

Premiering this coming Saturday June 26 is “3 Hua Jai (3 Hearts), starring Pat Napapa, Boy Pakorn, Alex Rendell, and “Ace” Worarit Vaijiaranai and is directed by Khun Pisan Akarasene (Aom Piyada’s father). Three hearts represent 3 brothers with very different personalities and in different stages of their lives, who fall for the same girl played by Pat Napapa.  She likes them all like her brothers but one stood out.

The plot starts off with an attempted rape of Chom (Pat) by her stepfather. Chom is a final year nursing student whose foster mother had just recently passed away, her stepfather who has been secretly lusting after her starts to make his desires known since no one is around anymore to stop him. When he tried to rape her, Chat (Alex) happens to be around the area and saves Chom. He takes her to his home to live with his family which includes his mother and 2 older brothers: Chan (Ace) and Chai (Boy). Her presence causes a rift between the 3 brothers because all 3 fell in love with her. The rift is especially heated between Chan and Chat, the oldest and youngest brother. Then something unexpected happened to Chat and Chan which lead to their deaths. As with Chai, he is falsely accuse of a crime he did not commit and was sent to jail. The summary question asked if Chom will wait for Chai when he gets out, obvious yes because she has no other brothers to choose from.

The three brothers from oldest to youngest: Chan (Ace), Chai (Boy, and Chat (Alex). All three are very different, it’s like night and day.

Chan is the oldest and is describe as a man who is very competitive, he hates losing. He’s a lawyer and extremely intelligent. From the outside, he looks like a selfish man, but really he’s a virtuous man. Compared to his two younger brothers, he is the most cunning of them all.

Chai is the second oldest and approximately 2 years younger than Chan. He’s a pessimistic, kind-hearted individual with a heart of gold. Compared to Chan who is more analytical, Chai is the artsy brother who loves cooking, crafts, and music. Chai is a boxer, a very good one too.

Lastly we have Chat, the youngest, the baby of the family. He’s a teenager, a final year secondary student.  He’s temperamental, impatient, doesn’t think before he acts. He uses his fist more then reasoning. With Chat, you see what you get. He’s not cunning all at.

Ch3 soccer players!!!

It’s almost that time of year again, Ch3′s annual soccer match between their male stars for their 40th anniversary celebration. Man, if I was there, I would have been hiding in the bushes with my binoculars, watching them practice and eating popcorn. Who’s with me?

Boy Pakorn making a turn, Kao dribbling the ball. Too precious.

Now lets play a game call I SPY Ch3 male stars, I see Alex Rendell with Boy Pakorn wearing a cheap-ass blue and white flip-flop (a classic Thai fashion item, I wear it sometimes), then there is Oil Thana and Aum Atichart looking beat. Aof Pongpat stands between them. Mart stands behind Kao during their running drill. Mos is in here too looking exhausted and staring off into space. Are you tired Mos?

Alex Rendell is a gay lad in “Rainbow Flame”

I’m very much looking forward to this series, I need a slap and kiss lakorn to make me happy and this lakorn might be it. And it will be quite interesting to see our little Alex Rendell playing a gay man. Sadly, it will be a brief appearance, he dies by committing suicide at the beginning. My guess is that by the 4th or earlier episode, he dies.

By the way, don’t think too much at the picture above of Louis Scott comforting Alex Rendell, they’re not in a gay relationship. Louis Scott is playing Alex’s supportive uncle in the series. Really, it’s just an uncle comforting his nephew scene. It’s rather cute actually.

“Rainbow Flame (Plerng See Roong)” airing after Rita Jensen and Andrew Gregson’s lakorn “Moonlight Crown”  on December 19, 2009 on Ch3 stars Mart Krissada as our pra’ek and “NamPueng” Nattharika Thammapreedanan as the nang’rai. Essentially, they are the main characters–their relationship is the focal point for all the drama in the lakorn.

Mart Krissadee plays Tinarat, a man who secretly harbors feelings for his stepmother Katleya played by “NamPueng” Nattharika Thammapreedanan. There was a time when they both secretly liked each other. She was a little older, he was probably in his late teens or early 20s. Because of ambition and wanting to live the secure life, Katleya doesn’t follow her heart, instead she chooses to marry a rich older man, who happened to be Tinarat’s father. She didn’t know that though.

They match, isn’t that obnoxiously cute?! Our pra’nang Mart and Susie and our nang’rai Nampueng.

She has a single!

Oh My Gosh. Are you effing serious? Singing require skill, doesn’t it? Khun Ying Mann (Mom Rachawong Mannarumas Yukol), a minor princess, not in line for the throne, has a single out and a music video currently on air. I’m just flabbergasted.

The song is titled “Sia Jai Mak Mak (I’m very sorry)” from the album “Convergence Love”, a joint venture with 4 other artistes which includes: Howard Wang, Ruj’s girlfriend “Gypsy” Keerati Mahaprukpong and Alex Rendell.

Oh good gosh, ‘convergence’, when I hear that word, I automatically think cloud formation or rivers joining to one point. For love sakes, it’s an album title, you don’t need to be pretentious when creating one.

For pure enjoyment, you have to watch the MV. It’s downright laughable. At the 2:30 time mark, Ying Mann is being confronted by Howard Wang, her pra’ek for the MV. He shakes her and speaks in awkward English.

“Why can’t you ever understand me. You understand me when we were just friends. Why can’t you understand me, there is nothing between us.”–I think that is what he said. You can listen to it for yourself, it is in English.

He then proceeded to shake her like an angry little boy shaking his G.I. Joe doll when he is mad. Awkward much!

Ying Man then fires back with, “What about you, you have never cared about me.” –what the fudge.

Ying Maan trying to act cute, oh scary! She has a lot of room for improvements and so does that young lad Howard Wang. Who is this mofo? He is downright awful too. You can watch his MV here. The song is called “Ja payayam (I will try)”.

Gypsy and Alex’s songs were moderately good, I see potential in them.

MORE more pictures from Ch3′s soccer match

[Who in the hell is KANE? HAHA]

I know, I know, this is my third post about the match and you’re probably tried of seeing them. Most definitely, this will my last post about it. It was just that EVERYONE was there, EVEN Aof Pongsak.

The soccer match is over and the “Man of the Match” award has been handed out to Ken Theeradeth for the green team and Aum Atichart for the white team and many people are not happy. They consider it a popularity contest award rather an award for merit. Many are saying how in the hell did Ken get the award when he didn’t even play well, Great Warintorn should I have gotten the award for the green team, he scored two goals. Instead of Aum Atichart, shorty pie Alex Rendell should have won.

Here is a comment written in English from Kapook about the match…

” not fair at all …
the winner of white team is ‘ alex randell’ and ‘krik danai’ – superb game
the winner of green team is ‘great varinthorn – well done for those 2 goals’ ..

umm athichart and ken theeradet ..- NOT FAIR AT ALL ..

sorry to say , but it is fact !!

keep it up guys – there is always a winning day for you alex and krik !! cheers ..”

A lot of love was given to Great Warintorn, understandable, he played very well. Ken and Aum won because they are the ALPHA males of Ch3, it’s a publicity stunt.

Another consensus comment from viewers.

“What did Ken do?
I didn’t see him doing anything.
I don’t know how he got the award
Maybe because he is the leading pra’ek for the channel
That is how he go it. 55555″

There is a part of me that agrees and there is a part of me that doesn’t really give a…..It was entertaining, who cares about the award. We should all agree, Ken really sucks at soccer. He missed the foul shot. At the end, a reporter asked, were you embarrassed, he said “no” because it was just a friendly game. I don’t think he took it too seriously.
