“365 days of love” pictures

Hey there are sheeps in the background, the hilly landscape is quite beautiful–some promotional pictures for Anne Thongprasom and Ken Theeradeth’s lakorn “365 days of love”.

Anne’s character is Lanaree (Lan), a beautiful woman who works as a architect, she is bold, stubborn, reckless, she has a lot of confidence in herself, she is extremely cheerful and hyper, she lacks housewife skills. When it comes to love, she is sincere, she loves only one person. Lanaree is a romantic who believes that love must be expressed through sweet words. When she is good, she is the most lovable person ever. When she is bad, she is like a person who has been possessed by a demon. Her most uncontrollable trait is jealousy, especially in regards to her husband Tula (Ken) and other women trying to get near him.

Tula played by Ken Theeradeth is Lanaree’s husband. Compared to his wife, he is quite calm. Tula works as a prosecutor. He is described as a reserved, calm individual–compassionate and tender. He’s trustful and faithful, he believes that love should be expressed by actions than words. He doesn’t understand the sensitivity of women and is stupid when it comes to love. His main problem is solving problems by lying.

Prayer/Opening ceremony pictures for “365 days of love”

Prayer/opening ceremony for Ken and Anne’s lakorn “365 Wan Haeng Ruk (365 days of love)”, because I’m lazy, you can read the plot line for the lakorn here.

Usually, the prayer/opening ceremony takes place before filming begins, but in this case, filming has been in production for a while now. They did it in reverse.

Ken explaining the lakorn in the video clip, “For this series, I’ll be more mature, an adult. Their love is like soulmates, they will live together like a couple. Problems will arise like what married couples have to face.”

Anne:”I can’t explain it, it’s kinda like reality. She (her character) has a family that is dysfunctional, not very happy. Thus it makes her insincere about her relationship with her boyfriend. She fears he will cheat on her. She is exaggerating the whole thing, in reality, she has a good husband. But lack of trust complicates her life.”

Ken and Anne, a winning team

They won, oh okay, don’t they always win. Of course, nothing wrong with that. Ken and Anne won best actress and actor for their work in “Soot Sanaeha (A recipe for love)” at the 24th annual TV Gold awards today.

The complete list of the winners that I care about:

Best lakorn: “Yok Lai Mek (Jade Cloud)”, Ch3
Best  director: Chotirat Rakroemwong for “Yok Lai Mek (Jade Cloud)”, Ch3
Best Actor: Ken Theeradeth for “Soot Sanaeha (A recipe for love)”

What Ken said about his award:”I have to thank all of the staff members for making “Soot Sanaeha (A recipe for Love)” turn out great. You have made me appear like I can cook. Everywhere I go, people compliment me on my cooking and asked if I was good at cooking just like in the lakorn. I want to thank P’Aeo the director, Da Hathairat and everyone on the staff for making this lakorn turn out life-life. As for this TV gold award, I did not have any expectations because my character for this lakorn was light compared to other nominees, I want to give this Anne more so. She had many characters to play and she played it well. After this, I’m not going to celebrate, I’m going home to rest.”

Best Actress: Anne Thongprasom for “Soot Sanaeha (A recipe for love)”, Ch3
Best Supporting Actor: Pongpat Wachirabunjong for “Prajun See Roong (Rainbow Moon)”, Ch3

Pictures from the “IN Young Generation Awards 2009″

Is that time a year again, it’s the “IN magazine awards 2009″ or “IN Young Generation Awards 2009″, held at the Grammy building in BKK. I don’t pay attention to see who won what, it’s more about…did Pancake and Weir wore obnoxiously matching outfits AGAIN OR did Mario Maurer turned up looking like a Connecticut housewife with his rolled up Khakis pants and long white shirt. As predicted, Pancake and Weir did go together in matching outfits and Mario did look like a Connecticut housewife in those Khakis pants, long white shirt under a thick navy cardigan. Come on guy, you’re in Thailand, you don’t need a THICK WINTER CARDIGAN. Compared the fashion and results from last year here.

The awards category is always confusing and interesting and the award trophy itself is one ugly round head with the “IN Magazine” logo subscribed in it, on a base that looks like a plastic clear snow scraper. It’s just U-G-L-Y.

Winners:
1. Sexy Guy-Mario Maurer.
2. Hot Girl-”Toey” Jarinporn Junkiat
3. Hot Guy-’Kao’ Jirayu La-ongmanee
4. Spicy Babe- Gamboom Pimnipa for “Jaew Jai Rai Gub Khun Chai Taewada” on Ch7
5. Well-Dressed Nang’ek-“Pancake” Khemmanid Jamikorn
6. Hot Entertainer-”Tukakee” Sudarat Butphrom
7. Bad Boy-”Pae” Arak Amornsuppasiri
8. Bitchy baby (nang’rai of the year)-May Fuengarom for “Fai Chon Saeng” and “Love of Money”
9. Sexy Baby-Aum Patcharapra (her 4th year)
10. Best Actor-Ken Theeradeth
11. Best Actress- Anne Thongprasom
12. Best Love Couple- Anne Thongprasom and Ken Theeradeth for “A recipe for Love” on Ch3
13. Best Love Drama- “Soot Sanaeha ( A recipe for Love)” on Ch3
14. Best Love song- “Hoi, Hoi” sung by Ben Chalatit for the lakorn “Jaew Jai Rai…”
15. Best Love Movie-GTH’s “Bangkok Traffic Love Story”
16. Nice Guy-Ken Theeradeth
17. Lovely Girl-Anne Thongprasom
18. Cute Couple-“Pancake” Khemmanid Jamikorn and “Weir” Sukollawat Kanaros—again, they won this last year too.

Gosh darn you two, stop matching! This is not a couple’s retreat, it’s an award show. Mario, did you wear that outfit last year too? I’m telling you, he probably has that whole outfit stashed somewhere in the auditorium and he plans to wear the same outfit over and over each year.

“365 days of love” fitting pictures

Call me superficial and vain, I find myself looking forward to Ken Theeradeth and Anne Thongprasom’s upcoming lakorn “365 Wan Haeng Ruk (365 days of love)” because I love the outfits they are wearing. I love the clean, preppy look. And they match without being overly obnoxious, they wear colors that complement each other. It’s chic and modern. It’s NICE!

In this lakorn, Anne and Ken will be playing a married couple. According to the  director Ampaiporn Jitmaingong,  “365 Wan Haeng Ruk (365 days of love)” will be a drama about the struggles of a married couple than a romantic comedy. According to Ken at the  Top awards, filming will start sometime in March. As mentioned in the youtube clip below, it might air when Noi (Ken’s wife) is about to give birth to their second child, 6 months from now. So the lakorn could air around July or August, late summer.

Mini summary: Ken is Tula, he is married to Lanaree (Anne). Tula is a man who is confident in love, as for Lanaree, not so much. Lanaree is described as boisterous, self-centered, kinda like Alin from “Soot Sanaeha (A recipe for love)”. One day, Lanaree had her fortune read by a roadside psychic. The psychic tells her that she and Tula will break up. She doesn’t believe the psychic, so the psychic gives her an old notebook and instructs her to put it under her pillow when she sleeps. When she wakes, she will find out if the prediction that her marriage will end in divorce is true. For several days, Lanaree is very stressed out by the psychic’s prediction and she doesn’t want to believe it and rationalized that the psychic is old and is probably mentally distorted. Nonetheless, she decides to do what the psychic instructed and place the notebook under her pillow before she went to bed. The next day, she wakes up to find herself not at her house with Tula but at her mother’s house. She checks the calender, it’s the correct month and day. But wait, it’s a year ahead. Eventually, Lanaree learns that a year ago, Tula and herself fought severely about something to the point where she packed up her stuff and she moved back in with her mother.

Some are describing this lakorn as an extension of “Soot Sanaeha (A recipe for love)”, Lanaree is very much like Alin and Tula’s mannerism is like Kru Cook (Din). This is “Soot Sanaeha (A recipe for love) 2″ with a fantasy twist.

I’m liking the story.
