Stars who went out to take care of their civic duty

…by voting in the general election yesterday on July 3rd–an historic moment, giving Thailand its first female Prime Minister in Khun Yingluck Shinawatra, the youngest sister of the former ousted Prime Minister of Thailand, Thaksin Shinawatra. She is described as his clone, is that a good thing? There was a reason why he was ousted.

I shouldn’t talk, this is a entertainment blog. On with the pictures of celebrities who participated in the election…

Mos is married

Gosh Damn, wow, it’s not a wedding, it’s a Mos fashion themed concert. There was dancing, an entertainment show for the wedding guests, he surely made it his own. I think out of all the celebrity weddings this year, Mos and Game will be the most memorable for its adorable cheesiness.

A few hours ago, Mos married his long time girlfriend of 9 years ‘Game’ Duangporn Luekitinan at the Centara Grand hotel in Bangkok. Mos said this about his wife: “we have been dating for 9  years na. I felt impressed with her the first day I have met her and she has not changed. Game is a responsible person with a good heart. This was like a test and she was able to pass the secret of a superstar test.  We don’t have to hide anymore.”

The thing that surprises me that they have not signed their marriage certificate yet. What?

“About signing the marriage certificate, we will have to think about it again because we were too engrossed in planning the wedding, wanting it not to coincide with anyone else’s date. We wanted itto be enjoyable. But for sure we will sign our marriage certificate. We just have to wait until everything is set,” said Mos.

I have never been married, so I don’t know how this process works in the US or in Thailand, don’t you just  go down to the courthouse and sign documents. That’s how they do it in lakorns and other asian series. Haha. Nonetheless, I’m happy for this couple, everyone is different.

The couple has no plans for their honeymoon and they do  want kids but are waiting a year.

A clip from their engagement ceremony from Wednesday March 30. It’s start at the 1:07 time mark.

Aom’s side of the story

The problem lies with the mother not the child, says Aom after a surveillance clip of herself and her husband Art Sara arguing with a woman and her child at a movie theater was leaked on youtube.

The uploader accused Aom of insulting a child, being unreasonable, overacting when the child kicked Art behind the legs, and most definitely unnecessary words were exchanged—then again, there is no audio, what do we know what they said. The assumption by the uploader is that kids will be kids and they have the right to be mischievous, when Aom and Art erupted with ‘anger’ when the child kicked Art, they went out of line. Foul language was used to described Aom and Art in the description box of that youtube video, the uploader did write E-Aom said this, Ai Art said that. “E” and “Ai” are derogatory titles in Thai. When comments at youtube did not go his or her way, they were deleted.

In a phone interview with 9 Entertain today, Aom clarified that she wasn’t upset with the child, she was upset with the mother.

Aom:”I wasn’t angry with the child, I know how children are. Some kids are mischievous, some are not, some are well-mannered. I understand. I have laans (niece and nephews), I love my niece and nephews, I love children. Especially P’Art, he loves children more. All of this has nothing to do with the child, not at all. This incident, okay, it started because the child was mischievous like how children are when he kicked P’Art. When a person is just standing there and suddenly gets obstructed, they are startled. That’s normal. “Hey, What was that?!” He said that. The mother of the child probably didn’t see what happened. When she turned around, she went at us. The child was very lovable. After kicking an adult, he immediately apologized and knew that he did wrong, so he ran behind his mother. However, his mother looked at him and then  turned to us and said, ‘He has apologized what more do you want?’ She probably didn’t hear the startled sound from P’Art. After that, you probably saw in the video, I was looking at this and that. When I turned around and she saw that it was me, she said more. She said, ‘You’re a dara (celebrity), I’m watching your lakorn right now.’ P’Art was probably confuse, what does that have to do with this incident. That has nothing to do with this, whether I be a celebrity or whoever, it has nothing to do with this. Then we argued like how it was seen in the video. Art and I did NOT disrespectful words. The mother did say things that I should not elaborate on like us. It’s not worth hearing about. I didn’t say anything, I wanted to end it like how you saw in the video. I just wanted her to understand that we did not say anything to the child. Nor does it have anything to do with me. It was nothing. We didn’t say anything to him. Some have said, since it is like this, will you sue? After clarifying the truth, will you sue? Will you do this? I don’t know why we would sue, what good would it do. Some have asked, doing this is like wanting use to lose our reputation and fame. However, the people around us know how we are and know we are not like that. Some news are  over the head and very harsh, we understand. It’s news to make people interested, so it is made that way. If you see the content of the news, or see the various clip with your own eyes, you will know what is what.”

–I’m not siding with anyone because there is no audio!

UPDATE:

A translated clip of Aom at her press conference clarifying her name about the incident. We should all thank Kudaranai for translating.
