Perng disappears and emerges as saucy Kaew to test Tor’s love. Poor Tor, everyone is in on the joke except him and Aom. Bah-Jing, someone is going down.

What I like about Badarn Jai is that it is strictly a relationship lakorn and not a social class lakorn where the pra’nangs are cattily fighting over an inheritance or pra’ek thinks nang’ek is a no-good gold digger.
Badarn Jai is a cute little tale about a demented man looking for love and the lively woman who falls for him. Of course since this is a lakorn, they had to add in the crazy stalker nang’rai to break them apart.
Badarn Jai is still following your typical lakorn formula but yet I find it refreshing because nang’rai is like a ice cream sundae on a hot summer day good. She scares the living bananas out of me and I like it. Her character Aom is psycho with a capital P. Aom is conniving, self-fish, a lying son of a grapefruit, and someone you really want to whack with a baseball bat. Isn’t that great!
Did you guys noticed that Aom vs. Everyone and she is still winning. Lets list all the people she is up against: Perng, Tu, Tor’s parents, Prim, servant guy Perm, servant girl Tookta, Nit, Mit, hotel lady Khun Mone, Pae, and all the workers at Tor’s hotel. She’s GOOD!
Another thing I really like about BJ is that everyone close to Perng and Tor want them to be happy and together. No one minus Aom in this lakorn wants drama, they want bliss, lollipops, cute little bunnies, and picnics at the park together.
Everyone in this lakorn is decent, they care about everyone around them. Other people’s happiness contributes to their happiness.
Perng and Tor’s relationship brings people together and that’s what great about it. If Perng and Tor have a blissful marriage, it will tighten the relationship ties between Tor’s parents and Prim. If Perng and Tor stay marry, it will mean that Pae and Tu will see more of each other and start a love relationship.
–Okay, enough of my blahs blahs and on with my thoughts on today’s episode. I have to say the bed scene between Tor and Perng scared the living *beep*beep* out me. It was too intense and I felt very uncomfortable watching it. Just because you see your wife hug another dude, you don’t have the right to abuse her. What’s wrong with chatting about your problems? Talking it out never gave anyone bruises.
Key things that happened in this episode
-Mit hugs Perng at the beach about Tor not believing her about Aom.
-Tor witnessed the hug and goes on a rampage. He punches Mit out and drags Perng to their hotel room. There he violently attacks her. Perng lies to Tor that she loves Mit. We all know she doesn’t.
-After the event, Perng leaves the hotel with Mit and Nit to Bangkok without telling Tor. Tor finds out from Aom that Perng returned to Bangkok with Mit and Nit. Tor becomes enrage and refuses to listen to his sister Tu about following Perng back to Bangkok and trying to make up with her.
-Perng decides she doesn’t want to live with Tor anymore, she returns to Chiangmai with her mother an d brother.
-Everyone pressures Tor to go to Chiangmai to make up with Perng
-Since he misses her, he goes. At first she refuses to see him, but he barges into her room anyway. She runs off. He catches up with her in the longan orchards.
-Perng yells at Tor for caring and trusting Aom more that he does her.Tor is confuse and tells her:
‘If I didn’t know any better, I would think that you love me and is possessive of me.”
Perng gives an acute shock look and Tor looks at her with questioning eyes and slowly asked her whether she loves him.
Perng tries to avoid the question and looks away. After a whole century she lies to Tor and tells him:
“Don’t be foolish, I don’t love you. The person I love is Mit.”
Tor is crush. He agrees to divorce her so that she can be with the one she loves.
-At home, Tor just hangs out and drinks to suppress his sorrows.
-Since no ones Tor and Perng to get a divorce, everyone comes together to scheme a master plan to bring Tor and Perng together. (I swear, everyone is so meddlesome!)
-To make Tor realize his true feelings for Perng, they fake her death.

Coming up this Wednesay July 16, there will be a “get your hands off my woman” moment in Badarn Jai. Tor (Aum) will witness a hug between his wifey Perng and Mit and will become enrage because he assumes that there is something romantic going on between the two. Tor will give Mit a good sucker punch and will angrily drag Perng back to their hotel room for a violent fight. R-scene coming up?
What Tor misunderstood about the hug is that it was more of a comfort hug between two friends than a lover hug. Perng felt distressed over her marriage to Tor so she sought comfort from Mit. Mit listened to her problems and gave her a hug to make her feel better.

Everyone has been suspecting that Aom probably killed her sister Auey by pushing her off their apartment building and making it seem like a suicide. I have to agree with everyone because Aom is one crazy pyscho bitch.
It doesn’t make sense why Auey would kill herself. She seemed like a mentally healthy girl who just had a minor argument with her bf. The argument wasn’t even an argument it was more of a declaration of love and an earnest to get marry. Tor wanted Auey to return to Thailand with him and get marry. Auey refused to go back to Thailand because of her responsibility to her younger sister Aom. Tor even suggested that the trip back to Thailand wouldn’t be permanent. He just wanted to settle his family’s hotel business and then come back to England to care for Aom. Their so-called argument wasn’t a break up argument it was more of a temporary set-back to their wedding plans.
Also, why would Auey killed herself when she made a big spiel about taking responsibility for her younger sister Aom? Didn’t she say that she was afraid to leave Aom because Aom was already abandoned by their parents. Aom would feel devastated with her sister abandoning her too.
This is what I think when down:
Auey decides at the very last minute that she wants to return to Thailand with Tor to get marry. Auey breaks the news to Aom at the rooftop of their apartment building and tells Aom that her departure won’t be for long. Aom doesn’t believe Auey and feels abandoned. She becomes enraged and pushes Auey off the rooftop. I don’t think it’s too far-fetched because we can see from EP. 7 that Aom is one crazy heffer who is willing to do bodily harm to others for her personal gain.
Man, Badarn Jai is a very popular lakorn because there are two people subbing it.
Thinkjaden from youtube is also subbing Badarn Jai. She has released the first 2 parts to ep. 7 subbed. She is using Youtube’s annotation tool. It’s kinda like overstream subtitle tool but with limitations. You can not generate a SRT file or import SRT files to the video.
