Pope is the husband in ‘Samee Teetra’

 photo sameeteetra8_zps17154d2a.jpg
Confirmed since January 2013 by producer and renowned actress Anne Thongprasom that she will be doing a remake of her 2001 lakorn ‘Samee Teetra (The Marked Husband)’ with Ploy Chermarn as the lead, Jui Warattaya as the nang’rai (the villain), and ‘Pope’ Thanawat Wattanaputi as Ploy’s husband. These are good choices, well-established talented actors. Anne wants this to be good.

This is an adult lakorn centering around a bratty rich woman (Ploy) who has gone through two failed marriages and one dead husband. She has a two-faced friend (Jui) who has been having an affair with her current husband who eventually dies in a car accident. The friend has been deceiving her for years playing the innocent good girl card. I believe they were friends for 13 years. She eventually finds love again with this phenomenal man (Pope) who sincerely loves her regardless of her past and bratty personality. But the insecurities about trust relating to her past experiences of being cheated on and the appearance of her ex-friend brings turmoil to her current marriage. Her life is heavy with people pecking away at her  to dismantle her happiness. She also got mother-in-law issues too.

Pang Ornjira’s wedding

Photobucket

Actress Pang Ornjira held her engagement ceremony and signed her marriage certificate to her long time boyfriend of two years Police Captain ‘Tom’ Songphan Kundilok last Saturday September 29, 2012 at the Swissotel hotel in Bangkok among close friends and family. Today, she held her wedding reception at the Plaza Athenee hotel in Bangkok. Security for the nuptial was tighten for the appearance of Thai Prime Minister Khun Yingluck Shinawatra but she did not attend because she was held up in a duty.  Instead Khun Yingluck’s former sister-in-law Khun Ying Potjaman the ex-wife of ousted Thai prime minster Thaksin Shinawatra made an appearance along with her  son Oak Panthongtae and daughters Aim Pinthongta.

During the usual wedding press conference with the media, Pang cried. Pang said in her past relationships, arguments was a normal thing. With Tom, they do have arguments, no matter how severe, she still loves him and doesn’t want him to leave.

Her vows to her husband Tom, Pang promised to be faithful, to respect, and to forgive. Tom vowed to endure more to support their love. The couple has dated for 2 years and have known each other for 9 years. There were talks of Tom entering politics, Pang does not want him to–it’s bothersome and she is fine with him just being a police officer she said.

I find this very amusing, when they were talking about having kids. He answered, ‘about having kids in maybe 2 years or do another job, like a business to have her bring other income to the house. If she is going to do more sexy photo-shoots, I want to screen it first or do love scenes, it will depend on my mood (smiles).’ —who is wearing the pants in this relationship, definitely not the gal. I wouldn’t worry about Pang too much, she is a tough cookie, known to be strong-minded and opinionated.

Tono apologizes to Jui on behalf of his fans

You have to wonder about some of these fans, do they have their heads screwed on right.

Some of “Tono” Pakin Kumvilaisak’s fanatical fans have been harassing Jui Warattaya online because she has a dating rumor with Tono. At the 4th annual event for Levi jeans,  the ‘Levi’s SWAP Jeans’ campaign, Tono apologized on behalf of his fans to Jui. He didn’t know.

‘I didn’t know, I do have to apologize whether it be the group cheering for us or my fanclub who has made her upset. I want to tell everyone whether on twitter or online, you don’t see each other’s faces, it is easy to insult someone. But I think you shouldn’t do that. Stop. I think and believe that majority of my fanclub members are not like that. As for some who believe that I am secretly dating Jui, it’s NOT true. We are just working together, we are friends, we have known each other since we did a photo-shoot together. Really nothing has developed since then. As for the future, I don’t think that will happen either. It’s not like she is NOT my type or anything like that. If we worked together and started to fall in love in the future, I can’t answer that.  You have to differeniate. Just because we are the pra’nang (leading couple) we have to love each other in order to play well together. I don’t have to love a celebrity. I can love a normal person. At the beginning when the news came out, I talked to her. I was concerned, we just started to work together. I think she understands. This is not my first news, I have news with everyone I have worked with. It is a very normal thing.’

Tono is Jui’s pra’ek in ‘Buang Wan Waan’

Photobucket

Pictures from the prayer/opening ceremony for two Exact Scenario lakorns ‘Buang Wan Waan’ and ‘Jao Mae Jam Bpen’ yesterday May 19, 2012 at the GMM Grammy Place building in Bangkok. They are both remakes.

Buang Wan Waan will star ‘Tono’ Pakin Kumvilaisak and Jui Warattaya as two ill-fated lovers from the past who found each other again in the present. It’s a reincarnation love story a rehash of ‘Roi Ruk Roi Adeed’. As for ‘Jao Mae Jam Bpen’, it’s a romantic comedy with Pong Nawat and ‘Gypsy’ Keerati Mahaprukpong, I vaguely remember the original–rich guy meets younger poor girl–something something, I hated it because of the odd pairing between the beautiful ‘Tong’ Pakkaramai Protranan with TV host Sanya Kunakorn.

Jui and Tono together for ‘Roi Ruk, Roi Adeed’??

PhotobucketPhotobucket

Exact Scenario production  is doing a remake of ‘Roi Ruk, Roi Adeed (Trace of love, Trace of the Past)’, a ‘Captain’ Puthanate Hongmanop and Pin Kejmanee from the year 2000–the new version could star Jui Warattaya with ‘Tono’ Pakin Kumvilaisak. Jui has ended her relationship with Kantana productions of Ch7 and is now working with Exact Scenario for the first time for this lakorn project. It will have the same plotline but they will change the name and do some altercations for the lakorn. It’s one of those love story where the couple loved each other in the past and found each other again in the future. Sounds good and the possible pairing between Tono and Jui, I like. They look good together; for example: their Image magazine photospread for December 2011. Though Tono is new to the industry he is a talented actor who has proven himself in the lakorn ‘Reuan Pae (the Boat House)’. I watched part of that lakorn because of him.

A week of revelation for Sudkhet and Khun Dee

They are loyal and true, but their significant others have not been. This week, finally, they learned the truth.

Monday’s episode of “Mon Ruk Mae Nam Moon”, supporting pra’ek who will never get the girl Sudkhet played by “Porsche”  Saran Siriluksana learned that the man he thought was dead is still alive. Sudkhet is a lovable spoiled little brat Thai Pop Star, his character is definitely  modeled after Bie Sukrit, not the spoiled little brat part but the cheesy dance moves and catchy pop tunes that is associated with Bie Sukrit. The way he dresses too, it’s obvious.

Sudkhet is in love with Deun played by Jui Warattaya, she is his personal assistant and the daughter of his mother’s best friend from the country. By an angry force kiss by Sudkhet to Deun, they were caught in a scandal by the Thai paparazzi and their kiss was printed across every Thai tabloid news magazine. To save face and Deun’s reputation, their elders decided to have them get engage–a real engagement not a farce one. It was win-win situation for everyone, except Deun. She is in love with another guy, her boyfriend Pin played by “Weir” Sukollawat Kanaros from back home. Deun’s parents disapproved of Pin because he is a poor school teacher from the country.
