Is that time a year again, it’s the “IN magazine awards 2009″ or “IN Young Generation Awards 2009″, held at the Grammy building in BKK. I don’t pay attention to see who won what, it’s more about…did Pancake and Weir wore obnoxiously matching outfits AGAIN OR did Mario Maurer turned up looking like a Connecticut housewife with his rolled up Khakis pants and long white shirt. As predicted, Pancake and Weir did go together in matching outfits and Mario did look like a Connecticut housewife in those Khakis pants, long white shirt under a thick navy cardigan. Come on guy, you’re in Thailand, you don’t need a THICK WINTER CARDIGAN. Compared the fashion and results from last year here.
The awards category is always confusing and interesting and the award trophy itself is one ugly round head with the “IN Magazine” logo subscribed in it, on a base that looks like a plastic clear snow scraper. It’s just U-G-L-Y.

Gosh darn you two, stop matching! This is not a couple’s retreat, it’s an award show. Mario, did you wear that outfit last year too? I’m telling you, he probably has that whole outfit stashed somewhere in the auditorium and he plans to wear the same outfit over and over each year.
