Matt is not interested in Mart at all

Matt Peeranee is not interested in her co-star Mart Krissada at all romantically. Fans of the lakorn “Wanjai Gub Nai Yomying (The sweetheart and Mr. Arrogant)” on Ch3 like them so much onscreen, they want this couple to be real. Reporters asked Matt if Mart was her type at an event for Tesco Lotus supermarket, she blatantly said no.

“I don’t want him, I don’t like him (laughs). I’ll pass,” Matt told reporters playfully while making a disgusted face. Don’t get her wrong, she was just playing. The reporters pressed on, why doesn’t she want him? Is it because he is a playboy? “I don’t know, you have to ask him that,” she answered.

There has been rumors that several actors from Ch3 have been flirting with her, she has rejected them all. Reporters want to know why, so they asked, ‘by rejecting these men, are you trying to say that guys in the ET industry have bad personalities (are spoiled)?”

“I’m not saying they have bad personalities, I just haven’t found the right person yet. I have never put guidelines on my type to be a person in the entertainment industry or not in it. I just want that person to be good, have respect for women, speak well, be generous, friendly and manly, and be narak (lovable),’ Matt explained.

One Thai netizen is using Mart’s words against her, making it seem like she is insulting Mart.

“Er! After reading this, I think

‘Pee Matt doesn’t want and asked for a pass.’

She likes someone who is good, a man respectful to woman, friendly and manly..

Which means to me that P’Mart isn’t a good person, doesn’t have respect for women, not friendly and manly!! Thus she quickly rejected him and asked for a pass.”

The director doesn’t care that Mart is difficult

This is old, from last week (4/8/10), still I want to write it up. I’m sure Mart and Cherry fans will be pleased, this pair will reunite in “Pla Lhai Paai Daeng (Red License Plate Eel)” directed by “King” Somjing Srisuphap. There has been rumors that Mart is difficult and picky. Director King is not afraid of the rumors and believes they can work well together.

“I chose him myself, the channel did not chose, because in this series, the pra’ek is  a doctor and Mart fits that role well. As for his various rumors, I don’t pay attention to it because I have never worked with him before, this will be our first time. If I was to listen to other people say this or that, then I won’t be able to work with him. I believe he is professional.”

Cherry and Mart brought in the ratings in “Mae Ka Khanom Wan (The Dessert Girl)” for Ch3, director King hopes his lakorn with them as a pair again will do the same.

“I hope so,” said King. “But I’m not going to pressure myself. If I do, I might not be able to work. The actors might feel uneasy also. Lets just say, I will try my best and have the ratings be good as before (Smiles).”

Mart’s character in this series, as stated above, is a doctor. His character is overly religious, un-stylish, clueless about women. He falls in love and marries a woman (presumably Cherry), who is the niece of a major undergarment manufacturer and all her male family members are playboys, philanderers, Casanovas, womanizers. He marries her and start to become influenced by her male family members who are skilled with women.

Filming for “Pla Lhai Paai Daeng (Red License Plate Eel)” will begin later this month, after the Songkran festival. The lakorn is based off a book of the same name.

Mart with a girl in Pai

He’s taken y’all. Leading man (pra’ek) of currently airing lakorn  “Rainbow Flame”, Mart Krissada was seen with a girl that SiamDara described as Chinese-looking, narak (cute), with long black hair, and a Snow White skin complexion. The two were seen shopping together in the district of Pai in Mae Hong Son province in northern Thailand on Christmas Day. They appeared sweet and familiar with each other, according to a eyewitness. When she picked out clothes for him to buy, she would pick up a shirt and placed it on him to see if it would fit, like what a girlfriend would do. When people started recognizing Mart and asked to take pictures with him, the pair backed off and reappeared wearing caps to appear inconspicuous and continued to shop.

Alex Rendell is a gay lad in “Rainbow Flame”

I’m very much looking forward to this series, I need a slap and kiss lakorn to make me happy and this lakorn might be it. And it will be quite interesting to see our little Alex Rendell playing a gay man. Sadly, it will be a brief appearance, he dies by committing suicide at the beginning. My guess is that by the 4th or earlier episode, he dies.

By the way, don’t think too much at the picture above of Louis Scott comforting Alex Rendell, they’re not in a gay relationship. Louis Scott is playing Alex’s supportive uncle in the series. Really, it’s just an uncle comforting his nephew scene. It’s rather cute actually.

“Rainbow Flame (Plerng See Roong)” airing after Rita Jensen and Andrew Gregson’s lakorn “Moonlight Crown”  on December 19, 2009 on Ch3 stars Mart Krissada as our pra’ek and “NamPueng” Nattharika Thammapreedanan as the nang’rai. Essentially, they are the main characters–their relationship is the focal point for all the drama in the lakorn.

Mart Krissadee plays Tinarat, a man who secretly harbors feelings for his stepmother Katleya played by “NamPueng” Nattharika Thammapreedanan. There was a time when they both secretly liked each other. She was a little older, he was probably in his late teens or early 20s. Because of ambition and wanting to live the secure life, Katleya doesn’t follow her heart, instead she chooses to marry a rich older man, who happened to be Tinarat’s father. She didn’t know that though.

They match, isn’t that obnoxiously cute?! Our pra’nang Mart and Susie and our nang’rai Nampueng.

Mart has been single for 10 years!

[Mart at his first fanclub meeting]

Mart Krissada, pra’ek from the lakorn “Dong Poo Dee”, confessed he has been single for 10 years. I find that hard to believe since he is notoriously known to be a playboy. He has been rumored to be wooing both nang’ek and nang’rai on many of his lakorn sets.

His reason seems to be logical, the guy works 6 days a week filming lakorns, he said he doesn’t have time for a girlfriend.“I don’t have a lot of time, right now I have been filming lakorns 6 days a week for 1 year straight.”–God golly, he hasn’t been on vacation for 1 year now.

Also, he would fear for her privacy, if they go out to eat or hug and the paparazzi snap a shot, both him and his girlfriend would be in a bind. He rather not risk it.

Reporters then asked if he was lonely, Mart replied: “No, not really. The 6 days I work, it’s tiring. I’m comfortable with being alone, I’ve been single for the past 10 years, I’ve learned a lot about myself. Even when I’m not at home, I’m happy to be alone. If anyone is going to be my “special” someone, I want to get to know her for a long time first.”

I been noticing, Thai stars love to overwork themselves. Get some rest Mart.

Margie has a dead animal on her head

You know you were thinking the same thing. I know this is the “in” style at the moment in Thailand, but it’s so ugly. Kids nowadays, they have the weirdest fashion sense. “Cheer” Tikumporn Ritthapinan from Ch7 has the same haircut. UG!

Margie Rasee showed off her new hairdo last Friday at the opening ceremony of “Wan Jai Gub Nai Jom Ying (Wanjai and Jomying)”, a lakorn where Margie plays second fiddle to Matt Peeranee, who is paired with Mart Krissada. Though some are saying Margie will be paired with Louis Scott, someone wrote at Pantip that it has not been confirm yet. Taew Nataporn was also linked with the project but later dropped out for academic reasons.

This is another cooking theme lakorn for Mart. Both Margie and Matt are portraying cooks in the lakorn. “Wan Jai Gub Nai Jom Ying (Wanjai and Jomying)” is produced by Makers Group, the same company that produced “Jamleuy Ruk”.

Most likely, it will air sometime in the fall of 2009. Lakorns usually take 5-8 months to film.

Margie and Mart. Though her hair is “ugleee”, her make-up is flawless.
