3 sets of couples in “Likit Sanaeha”

[from the prayer ceremony from a few days ago]

There will be 2 households, 6 people, 3 couples, in the romantic comedy “Likit Sanaeha (Fated Love)” from Good Feelings productions for Ch3 starring Marsha Wattanapanich with ‘Kong’ Saharat Sungaprecha, Matt Peeranee as Marsha’s younger sister with Great Warintorn. The third couple is a kiddie couple, Marsha’s kid with Kong’s kid from a previous relationship. Kong will have a child with “Ae” Pornthip Wongkijjanon–yes she usually works for Ch7, but she is a free agent so she can work with any channel. Ae is playing a model in this lakorn, she marries Kong but does not want kids. Soon after they got married, she does get pregnant and she sees her child as a hinder to her career which causes a rift between her and Kong. Eventually they broke up because they couldn’t take the constant arguing anymore.

There was a concern Kong and Marsha would steal the spotlight from Matt and Great and of them having more scenes, but the director ‘King’ Somching Srisupap assured it would not be an issue since Great will live with Kong and Matt will live with Marsha.

This is a first time Marsha is working with Kong and she is delighted.

Marsha and Kong’s interview at the prayer ceremony:

Have you ever acted in a lakorn together?

Kong: Never, this is the first time I am working with Marsha

How do you feel about working with Marsha?

Kong: I feel good, it something new, I have never worked with her before. I have followed her work, today I feel glad I am working with her.

What about you, Marsha?

Marsha: I feel the same as P’Kong. Other than music, I have never thought we would be working together in a lakorn. In music, there is a high possibility we would work together and we have worked together often. With this lakorns, no one has told me I would be working with P’Kong, so I asked them what kind of style is the lakorn. I’m happy it is guk-gik (flirty) and narak lakorn–a lakorn about family. After reading the script, I wanted to be part of it because I have been doing films and taking on serious roles. I wanted a change to something bright.”

Other actors for this lakorn include: M Apinan Prasertwattanakul, ‘Gubgib’ Sumontip Leuangthai, ‘Dodo’ Yuthapichit Charnlekha (returning to Ch3 after 6 years), Nattha Lloyd, ‘Top’ Daraneenuch Popiti, Puttachat Pongsukchat, and Arunee Puengpa.

3 Popular guys on the ‘Ratree Samosorn’ show

It’s a must watch episode of the ‘Ratree Samosorn’ variety show on Ch3 with guest appearances from Gun “Fluke” Kantathaworn, Pong Nawat, and Great Warintorn. The show started off with 2 little girls playing the ukulele, then ‘Kao’ Jirayu La-ongmanee and Jessie Mekwattana played a song on their ukulele, I didn’t really watch it. Good for you kids for learning to play the ukulele, apparently its all the rage among  indie wannabe Thai celebrities.

Segment 2 was what I was waiting for–Gun Kantathaworn, Pong Nawat, and Great Warintorn came out to talk about their love lives, past girlfriends, and their kiddy love experiences. Because Gun and Pong are friends outside the industry, I think Great felt like a third wheel in this situation because Pong and Gun were connecting stories back and forth while Great just sat there.

Before Gun would actively pursue a girl he has to ask her if she knows Pong Nawat, if she does, it is not a good thing.

Kulap Rai Glai Ruk: EP 9 gets technical

Remember back in the day when pra’ek would donate his sperm to the nang’rai foundation and she would get pregnant. A few weeks later, by counting the months or if nang’rai suffered a miscarriage and they learned the age of the baby, the pra’ek would know he is not the father. That is not my MONTH, he would proclaim. AH!

Nowadays, they gotta spice it up, get more technical with this overuse plotline of the pra’ek accidentally getting the nang’rai pregnant via a drunken night or the nang’rai drugging him and then staging that they slept together by sleeping naked beside him. Pra’ek would wake up with a hangover and see the nang’rai naked beside and think: ‘oh who, I messed up. I’m gonna get my head chopped off by my nang’ek and we just had a romantic scene together being stranded on a deserted island where we had to cuddle for warmth or being lost in the forest where we had to cuddle for warmth inside a cave. DANG it!

A few weeks later, presto, nang’rai is pregnant but she knew that for a while now. Pra’ek is not the father, usually the guy villain is and the guy villain is trying to get with nang’ek. It’s like a big circle of sharing and germ spreading. The thought of it all, ew.

Matt is not interested in Mart at all

Matt Peeranee is not interested in her co-star Mart Krissada at all romantically. Fans of the lakorn “Wanjai Gub Nai Yomying (The sweetheart and Mr. Arrogant)” on Ch3 like them so much onscreen, they want this couple to be real. Reporters asked Matt if Mart was her type at an event for Tesco Lotus supermarket, she blatantly said no.

“I don’t want him, I don’t like him (laughs). I’ll pass,” Matt told reporters playfully while making a disgusted face. Don’t get her wrong, she was just playing. The reporters pressed on, why doesn’t she want him? Is it because he is a playboy? “I don’t know, you have to ask him that,” she answered.

There has been rumors that several actors from Ch3 have been flirting with her, she has rejected them all. Reporters want to know why, so they asked, ‘by rejecting these men, are you trying to say that guys in the ET industry have bad personalities (are spoiled)?”

“I’m not saying they have bad personalities, I just haven’t found the right person yet. I have never put guidelines on my type to be a person in the entertainment industry or not in it. I just want that person to be good, have respect for women, speak well, be generous, friendly and manly, and be narak (lovable),’ Matt explained.

One Thai netizen is using Mart’s words against her, making it seem like she is insulting Mart.

“Er! After reading this, I think

‘Pee Matt doesn’t want and asked for a pass.’

She likes someone who is good, a man respectful to woman, friendly and manly..

Which means to me that P’Mart isn’t a good person, doesn’t have respect for women, not friendly and manly!! Thus she quickly rejected him and asked for a pass.”

Tye Nattapol’s new evening lakorn

Janjira, Matt, and Tye talking about their lakorn at Ch3′s upcoming lakorns event

I’m sure for many of you, this is the first time you’re hearing about “Guan Kammathep ( The Cupid Gang)”, Tye Nattapol and Matt Peeranee’s upcoming evening lakorn. It’s airing real soon, sometime in June after Ae Chaiya & Namfon Patcharin’s lakorn “Theppabut Chood Win” on Ch3. This lakorn is produced by Janjira Joojang, a well known comedic actress. It’s a romance comedy.

“Guan Kammathep ( The Cupid Gang)” follows the love story of an avant-garde girl and a well-mannered, conservative man.

Duang Dao wants her only daughter Kaysara (Matt Peeranee) to marry into the Trakunaphibuna family because in the past she failed to be a daughter-in-law in that family. When her daughter, who is half Thai and farang returns to Thailand, she immediately sets her plan in motion to trap Watit (Tye Nattapol), the male heir to the Trakunaphibuna family. Duang Dao’s master match-making plan is helped by her three good friends Plerntha, Somporn, and Nualnoi.

Duang Dao trains her daughter to be a polite and obedient, which opposes all of Kaysara’s personality. In reality, she is outrageous, spontaneous, and everything Watit hates in a woman. Watit is an old-fashioned and conservative man, he doesn’t want a wife who stands beside or ahead of him, he wants a wife who is subservient and stands behind him, literally.

Though Duang Dao tries her best to pair Watit and Kaysara together, she ultimately fails. Luckily for her, her mother Raunthong is friends with Watit’s grandmother.

In the end, Watit escape his fate with Kaysara, he is force into an arrange marriage with Kaysara by his grandmother. Watit gives Kaysara his name but does not take her as a “wife”, meaning they are legally married but they don’t have relations.

Because they are polar opposites of each other, Watit is a strict conservative man and Kaysara is a spontaneous fun woman, they often fight. Eventually, love develops in their marriage as they learn to appreciate and see the value of each other’s differences.

For a while, things were going well for Kaysara and Watit until Roger, Kaysara’s ex-boyfriend comes into the picture.
