Yuthlert Sippapak’s 3 Part action flick

Last week, “Buppah Rahtree (Scent of the Night Flower)” franchise director ‘Tom’ Yuthlert Sippapak, held a press conference for his new 3 part action flick, “Meu Puen 3 Pak (Hitman the Trilogy)”. The 3 part film will be produced by Phranakorn films, the first film will be release in May and the second part will be release 5 months later and so forth. The title of the films are: “Meu Puen Dao Prasook (Friday Hitman)”, “Meu Puen Dao Prasao (Saturday Hitman)”, “Meu Puen Pra-athit (Sunday Hitman)”.

Some of the names attached to the films are 20 year old ‘Saipan’ Apinya Sakuljaroensuk, hot mamasita ‘May’ Pitchanart Sakakorn, desperate for love in the film ‘A Bangkok Traffic Love story’ Cris Horwang, and the snake lady from the film “Deep in the jungle” with Tik, Ploy Jindachot. Each part will have its own theme, one is drama, the other romance, and the last is comedy.

Director ‘Tom’ Yuthlert Sippapak was asked, what if the first film bombs at the box office, Tom replied making films is a gamble, there are risks.

Pictures from the press conference, the ladies are looking hot!

Who wore it best? the black rubber dress

I thought I was going crazy. “Where have I seen this dress before?”  Then it donned on me–Noon Siraphun at the Bangkok International Film festival with her platinum blonde hair. Most recently that hideous looking thing was worn by ‘May’ Pitchanart Sakakorn for an event at the Address. So who wore it best?

Personally, my vote goes to Noon. Her spunky blonde hair gives the dress color and edge. On May, it looks dull because of her subdue make-up and classical up-do. Though May looks lovely like a princess, that dress is not made for a princess. It’s made for a crazy female rock-star. Noon’s appearance embodies the rock-star look more so than May.

You probably saw the results yesterday at Dirtiilaundry, but what’s the point of this again. The categories are ridiculous, they are pretty much saying the same thing, ‘you’re hot’. No matter what, everyone gets an award in Thailand.

Our beloved nang’rai May Fuengarom is working it in that silver dress, her hair is done well too. Oh, Charm, sweetie, your hair is a hot mess. I gotta say Charm has got curves.

“Wonderful Town” wins big at the 18th Suphanahong Awards

Aditya Assarat’s movie“Wonderful Town” took home 5 trophies at the Supanahong Awards (Thai Oscars) a few hours ago held at the Thailand Culture Centre, a big win for the Indie flick. Other than vaguely reading about it at Wise Kwai’s Thai movie Blog, I have never seen the film. I might have to hunt it down. From what I gathered from reading Nathan Lee’s NY Times review and random sites about the film, it’s a depressing love story about a female housekeeper Na (Anchalee Saisoontorn ) and a handsome young architect Ton (Supphasit Kansen) set in the tsunami ravaged town of Takua Pa, Thailand.
