Top: Kao, Ter, Nadech, and Pong. Bottom: Pope, Boy, Dome, and Mark
By popular vote for Sudsapda magazine at their website and facebook account, the ranking of the 20 most huggable Thai guys of 2011. ‘Roi Marn (Trace of the Devil)’ star Boy Pakorn is ranked number 1 and ‘Ter’ Chantavit Dhanasevi came in last. I would agree, Boy did give one of the best hug and confession scene in lakorn history in Roi Marn episode 13. It’s one of those scenes, you’ll remember for a long time.

He knocks on her door, she opens it terrified, not knowing who was there. On the other end, it’s him with a drained, exhausted face. He slowly walks towards her and wrapped his arm around her body.
‘I have something to tell you,’ he says. ‘Before we get a divorce tomorrow.’ He takes a pause. ‘I think…I think I am secretly in love with you. I don’t want it to be like this. I don’t want to get a divorce, but I don’t know what to do.”
He tears up quietly and so does she. Next big whopper question, ‘can I say with you tonight?’ AH.
‘Please don’t chase me away.’

She embraces him back tighter and they wept in each others’ arms. Their relationship was twisted by family debt and obligations. Their marriage was a force one and her cousin was a jealousy B. From the beginning it was not meant to be easy.

Game Rai, Game Ruk’s morning after
If you don’t want to be spoiled, I wouldn’t recommend you watching this or reading this post.
Nadech is into drugs
Sor 7, celebrity gossip columnist at Manager, has thrown out a pretty scandalous claim, Nadech is addicted to drugs. NO way.
Nadech denies it.
Reporters: “Sor 7 has alluded that you are addicted to drugs.”
Nadech replied that he loves his family too much to be doing drugs. “I’m not concern about this because I have not done anything wrong. (Have you ever gone to a shop owned by P’A Supchai’s friend?) From what I know, P’A doesn’t have a friend who has opened a bar. I love myself and the people who have given me opportunities. I love my parents too, I would not do anything bad like that krap.”
When you learned about this were you shocked? “I wasn’t shocked. When someone told me, I was doubtful, it’s more comical than anything.”
Do you go to bars? “Typically when I go out, I don’t go outside. Mostly I just get together with my friends at the house. I go to Mark (Prin)’s house or the shops around the area.”
Do you smoke? “I don’t smoke. At the university, they have a non-smoking campaign.”
How do you feel that you have an addiction to drugs rumor too? “It’s up to what people think.”
Has your family said anything? “The people in my household should know me well. They are probably not serious about this news. It’s a thing that cuts your spirit down, it shouldn’t be kept to think about.”
Did P’A say anything? “He didn’t say anything. He said he was the third hand, thrown into this too, him and his friend. It’s funny. (He wasn’t shocked?) No, he wasn’t. He called me and told me everything. Really, it’s nothing.”
Has the elders of the channel called you in for a chat? “No, nothing at all.”
Do you plan to be more cautious? “I have been cautious since I have entered the entertainment industry. I have never thought about being more cautious than this. What will happen, will happen. I just have to do my best.”
Are you upset about these false rumors? “There is a sentence that I like: “if there is no obstacle, prestige can’t be created.”
You seemed annoyed? “Personally, I’m not annoyed.”
You encounter news like this, do you feel sensitive about it? “No, the news about me being adopted is more sensitive than this, I feel so-so about this.”
Has your fanclub members said anything. “They know me well. You don’t need to be worried about issues like this.”
Do you fear your fans will look at you in a negative way? “The image people see from the news will probably be greatly negative towards me, but what can you do?”
Do you care?
“I don’t think I can care for the people who think of me negatively, I just have to stay where I”m at, like this it’s okay.”
Now about the lakorn “Saam Num Neua Thong (3 Golden Men)”, Nadech said he wanted to be part of it but didn’t have time for it. His friend Ken is taking his part and Ken is more suitable for that role too. He’s happy for his friend Ken.
Reporters wandered if his scheduled is packed, Nadech answered it is not too packed, he is currently filming “Game Rai, Game Ruk” and his other lakorn “Torranee Nee Krai Khong (Who own this land)” will start filming soon.
You look darker now? “I been filming the lakorn krap. I been filming at the ocean for 3 day Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday each week. I got dark. Some people have said they like this color on me.”
Right now you have a lot of advertisements, people have said you face is bruised already–I think meaning, overly exposed. “It’s up to what some people think. I work, I want to have work. Right now I want to make it less, save it for later. Not that I’m concerning myself with being overly exposed. It’s up to the client, what they want.”
What do you believe, only time will tell.

Nadech and Yaya’s adorable Lay’s chips commercial

This is too cute!
They are walking up a hill, she crossed her arms and rubbed them repeatedly because she is cold. They stop, he looks over at her and sees that she is cold. He takes off his gray scarf and wrapped them around her neck. He gives her a nodding smile and they both look ahead at the misty gray mountain tops.
He looks over at her for the second time and sees that she is blowing and rubbing her hands together for warmth. In a kind gesture, he takes her hand and places it in his coat pocket along with his warm hand. She smiles and notices his Lay’s chip bag. With her other hand, she takes the last chip from the bag and then quickly pulled her other hand out from his coat pocket. He takes notice of her bewilderingly, like what are you doing gal? With a smile she says, ‘this is the last chip.’
She breaks it half and says “Lets share.”
At the end, the announcer concludes with: “Lay, a small piece of happiness that can be shared.”
The “Fai ka” couple returns

Last week, we saw Ch3′s golden couple from the 4 Khao Yai series, Boy Pakorn and Margie Rasee reunite in the classic remake of “Roy Marn”, a slap and kiss lakorn involving a force marriage that wasn’t meant to be. It was her cousin who should have married pra’ek, but the day before the wedding, her cousin was kidnapped by a guy who had loved her for years. He kidnapped her, assaulted her, got her pregnant, and thus everything changed. The young and bratty nang’ek had to take the place of her cousin because it was a marriage to erase a debt. Nang’ek’s uncle owed money to pra’ek (Boy) and his father. Since he can’t use his daughter, you’ll use his niece instead. There have been several versions of “Roy Marn”, I think everyone prefers the older version with Pen Pisut and Saranyu Wongkrajarng, more chemistry I guess–the Pok Piyatida with Bee Bandit version not so much apparently. I have never said it, Boy Pakorn and Margie Rasee have never said it either. According to them, the production company prefers it this way because the remake will be different from the original. Hopefully it will be good, I do like this couple.

This week we have another Ch3 golden couple (perfect pairing couple) from the 4 Khao Yai series reuniting — Nadech Kugimiya and ‘Yaya’ Urassaya Sperbund for ‘Game Rai, Game Ruk (Evil game, Love game)’. By the title, you can automatically assume it’s a revenge, slap and kiss lakorn. The series is produced by Lakorn Thai and written by Thai romance novelist Baphafan.
In the lakorn, nang’ek played by Yaya is tossed by the maddening tidal waves of the Andaman Sea to an island where she meets Saichon (played by Nadech), a young islander who does not dare to even tell her he loves her though they live in the same house. Nang’ek does not know who she is, she is suffering from amnesia. She probably fell off her wealthy family’s yacht or something–it’s a lakorn, someone has to be rich. We know it ain’t poor islander pra’ek. What does he have–some coconuts and a seashell necklace, he has nada, but he loves her. A year passes and our nang’ek discovers love, true love from Saichon who has guarded her and loved her patiently. Eventually they have a child together but their love story doesn’t end happily ever after, they are torn apart by her family and she suffers from partial memory loss of him and their child. How does that work from full memory loss to a partial one–only in lakorns and Kdrama. Saichon is rather upset that his beloved doesn’t remember him, thus their love story transform from a game of love to an evil game.
This is so funny, during their press interview, reporters asked Nadech and Yaya if they felt bored with seeing each other constantly. Nadech looked over at Yaya and asked, ‘are you bored?’
“I’m not bored, not bored ka,” Yaya repeated twice.
Compared to his muscleman, hot-tempered character “Fai” in “Duang Jai Akkanee (Akkanee’s Heart)”, Nadech said he is changing from fire to water. In Thai, Fai means ‘fire’ and Saichon means ‘stream’. Saichon’s personality is calm like a stream with a better temperament than Fai. The romantic scenes in ‘Game Rai, Game Ruk” will be sweet and innocent because nang’ek is suffering from amnesia thus pra’ek has to be more attentive towards her.
