They have been broken up for almost a YEAR!

OMG, as one Thai netizen wrote at the Manager news website:”they are talented both on screen and off. This couple went on the “Wan Waan Yang Waan Yoo (Everyday you’re still sweet)” show and were so convincingly sweet towards each other it deceived the viewers. They deserve an applause.” Eee!

“The thing with getting back together or doing a ‘return’ that has to do with the future. I can’t give an answer to if we will or not. At the present, I am enjoying doing things on my own. I don’t have to worry, I don’t have to worry about anyone. When I have a lot of work, I don’t have a lot of time and our time apart has been reasonable, it has been 9-10 months already. Thus this time has helped us cope. We understand, we are adults, we ended it well. We were different so we separated, no one changed, no one is trying to hurt anyone,” said Jui.

There appearance on “Wan Waan Yang Waan Yoo (Everyday you’re still sweet)” which aired just last month.

Jui and New have been distant

We may never know why Jui Warattaya and New Wongsakorn became ‘distant’ after 4 years together, Jui said it was a lot of reasons and they didn’t have time to talk about it because of work and various other activities.

“Some people have to adapt themselves to come together, but we didn’t have time to sit down and talk about it; perhaps that is why we grew more and more apart,” said Jui to the media.

When asked if they will try to work things out and close the distance between them, Jui hinted it probably won’t happen. “At this time, I want to be by myself. I want to spend my time alone quietly. We have talked over everything with understanding.”

New has been seen going to a pub with another woman and Jui said she doesn’t know anything about it. She wasn’t there with him when he went, so she can’t say anything.

“I really don’t know,” said Jui about New being sighted with another woman. “You have to ask P’New. I didn’t go to the place that he went to nor was I there to see the incident. That day you are referring to, I went to work at one of the provinces.” I think around this time they were apart and I don’t think she cares anymore if he was with another woman.

Jui and New were having issues according to the media, they were fighting over the restaurant they share together. I’m not sure if it is true or not, Jui has denied it though. Whatever the reason, Jui and New have downgraded their relationship to the pee-nong (just like relatives) status.

We have a replacement for “Reun Son Ruk”

FINALLY! We have an air date for the next lakorn replacing “Reun Son Ruk (House of Concealing Love)”, it’s “Ngao Hua Jai (Shadow of the Heart)”. It will premier this coming Monday, June 28.

You can read the translated summary here.

I would categorized it as a typical lakorn (like everyone else). Let see, we have a pathetic nang’ek with a fudged up family, her older and father are gambling addicts. She’s hopeless, poor, she has a ailing mother who would later die. She experiences one great love with pra’ek, who happens to be super rich (aren’t they all). Because of gambling debts, her brother steals 3 million baht from pra’ek and framed her for it. Thus, our poor/ pathetic nang’ek is forced to run away from her pra’ek without telling him the truth.

Fast-forward 6 years later, pra’ek is pathetic too, not with money, he has a lot. Nope, he is emotionally pathetic because of what she did to him, he still loves her, he can’t forget her because she was his great love. Six years later, they meet again. He’s pretty upset, she denies that she is the same girl he once knew. She is going by a different name now. But she looks like the same girl  with the same mannerism of a girl he once loved and knew. He does find out she is the same woman he once loved. Out of revenge, he makes her his mistress. Get where I’m going with this, TYPICAL!

“Ngao Hua Jai (Shadow of the Heart)” stars New Wongsakorn and Noon Woranuch. I’ll give it a try. Lakorns are predictable, I still like them.

Praew magazine 30th year anniversary

…fashion show and award event. I honestly don’t know who won what, I been trying to track down the info for a while now. The event was held at Central World this passing Saturday September 18.

Just enjoy the pictures. Everyone looked great and it just seem like everyone was there. The make-up, the fashion, the shoes, just FLAWLESS. I am referring to what they wore to the event. The fashion show, I felt the style sense was a little off for the guys. What the ladies wore looked fantastic!

Noi, Mew, and Anne, beautiful looking women.

It looked like a fun event, everyone knew each other intimately. Look at Mam McIntosh chatting with Mew Lalita, it looks like a fun conversation they are having over there.

White Lotus: Ep 1 Caps

“White Lotus” premiered today, it looks moderately decent. No childhood part, I believe  it started out with the 5 main characters attending a university and their childhood part will be presented in flashback form. We’ll see.

You know the routine, just caps for now. More later tonight.

Update: debating whether I want to cap this series. I did see the complete episode a few hours ago. Let me tell you, if Poo Praiya was not in this lakorn, it would have been great. She is not completely terrible, she is lacking. One, she is playing the Noot character like a dimwit, it’s slow witted, kinda like a ‘low’ person. Knock, Knock is there a brain in there. Her deliverance is odd too. Acting is the embodiment of a character, to make it be real. I’m not suppose to know you’re ‘acting’. Yes, I know, I’m being harsh.

Everyone is great in this series except Poo.  It’s just wrong when your main female lead is the one dragging everyone down.  It’s borderline frustrating to watch.

New Wongsakorn is transformed into a sadistic pra’ek

…in “Dok Bua Kao (White Lotus)” airing after Love Rotation on September 9, 2009.

I saw the teaser sometime last week and shook my head in disbelief. You have got to be kidding me, I said to myself. After Love Rotation, another sadistic lakorn from Kantana. After I scanned through the synopsis at the Kantana website, I shook my head disbelief again. All the main female characters will have an r-scene and will become pregnant. “Poo” Praiya Suandokmai will have a drunk r-scene with New Wongsakorn and became pregnant. She later suffers a miscarriage.

The main plot line of  “Dok Bua Kao(White Lotus)” is derived from a legend about a wealthy woman with a pure heart from centuries ago, who sacrificed all her worldly possessions to help the poor. She eventually dies out of starvation near a swamp. As legend goes, her body is then morphed into a lotus plant. In modern times, in buddhist culture, the lotus is used for worship for that reason, because it represents the highest order of sacrifice and purity. In “Dok Bua Kao”, the lakorn, ‘Poo’ Praiya Suandokmai becomes the embodiment of  the ‘lotus’ woman in modern times, she sacrifices everything for her family and gets nothing in return but heartache and pain.

Yes, it is a long synopsis and no I didn’t proof read it. HAHA.
