Noon comes from a good looking family

There was no caption when I saw this picture at Rakdara, I can only assume this is her family of her parents and siblings. The woman on the far right wearing the red shoes, it most likely her sister, they nearly look identical.

The pictures came from the launch of Noon’s Peace condominium.

Stars who went out to take care of their civic duty

…by voting in the general election yesterday on July 3rd–an historic moment, giving Thailand its first female Prime Minister in Khun Yingluck Shinawatra, the youngest sister of the former ousted Prime Minister of Thailand, Thaksin Shinawatra. She is described as his clone, is that a good thing? There was a reason why he was ousted.

I shouldn’t talk, this is a entertainment blog. On with the pictures of celebrities who participated in the election…

Weir finds it surprising to be working with Pancake again

I kinda don’t want them to work together in a lakorn again, the wound is still fresh, they just broke up a few months ago, give them a year or two. Plus, I’m tired of the Weir and Pancake pairing. I want new faces, new pairings with a fresh storyline. Kay.

Weir is casted for the lakorn “Nangfa Mafia (Angel Mafia)”, an action comedy. He is slated to do it, the elders of Ch7 want him to do it. He is confirmed to be the pra’ek. As for the nang’ek, it is really unconfirmed, possibly Pancake.

“It is not definite yet, but they did tell me most likely I’m acting in it. As for the nang’ek, it’s probablyPancake. It’s okay to be working with her again. It is a lakorn they want me to play in. The elders wanted me to try acting in an action comedy. The script has been written, soon they will start filming, but casting is not done yet. Right now, I don’t know what is going on. You have to wait to see if we are really being paired together. Some people say it might be a new actress like Nong Darika, so I don’t know who it is. When I found out, I felt normal about it, like ‘eh’ really. But it is alright. Everyone I worked with, they have all been okay. Everyone is very narak (cute).”

There was a rumor that Weir was replaced by Vee Veeraphap in the lakorn “Sentai…Salai Soht (A deadline….to end being single)” because Noon Woranuch requested it. Weir said he doesn’t know anything about it, it’s up the elders of the channel. “As for being replace, I don’t know anything about it. It’s up the elders. If they change something, you follow it. I know nothing about it, but I’m sure it had nothing to do with that because I talk to P’Noon all the time. That day we went to the event together, we said finally we are working together. She said this is the first time she met me, so I don’t think it is like that.”

There is another rumor about Weir being broke and that his fanclub members buying him things for his house. “As for them buying me things for my house, it is not to that extent.”

His new house is currently being built, there are engineers working on the interior of the house, in about 2-3 months he will be moving in. Weir does admit his fanclub has brought him 4-5 electric appliances for his house, the biggest thing was a fridge. WHAT THE….damn these devoted fans. Weir said he does feel burden by the gifts a little.

Weir said his house is roughly 6-8 million baht ($197,000 -263,000 USD). Weir also had to address the rumor that he doesn’t have a lot of money in his bank account. “No, not at all. There is a still a lot left, not little at all,” said Weir.

Geez, how do they get this information?

Vee and Noon reunite for “Sentai…Salai Soht”

It sounds like the rehash version of William Shakespeare’s “The Taming of the Schrew” where the main girl must marry first before her younger sister can. It’s a romanatic comedy. The same concept goes for Noon Woranuch and Vee Veeraphap’s upcoming lakorn “Sentai…Salai Soht (A deadline….to end being single)” for Ch7. Noon is playing a woman by the name of “Fah”, she has a younger sister who wants to get marry, but the main rule in their family is that Fah (being the eldest sister) must marry first before her younger sister can. Fah also has a pesting mother who badly wants her to get marry. Her mother even resorts to trickey in order to do so, she lies to Fah that she dying and begged Fah to find a husband within 2 months. For the sake of her ‘ailing’ mother, Fah uses her talent as the head of the creative department in her company to find a husband. You can guess that Vee is playing the guy that Noon must snatch up to marry.

It’s a cute, fun concept.  I have to wonder if Noon can do it, I’m sure she can, but mostly she does drama with a lot crying. It’s a rarity to see her doing comedies, will she be funny enough? Vee, we don’t have to worry about him, he is a jokester in real life.

It is produced and will be directed by Thongchai Prasongsanti, the man who gave us “Silamanee” with Kob and Paul and the currently airing lakorn “Mon Ruk Mae Nam Moon” with “Weir” Sukollawat Kanaros and Jui Warattaya. There is also a second director.

Guests at Mos and Game’s wedding

I’m quite impressed with the guests at Mos and Game’s wedding, they came out looking like stars instead of people who casually got out of bed and dressed informally to a wedding. A few did but not many like other celebrity weddings. They deserve a pat on the back.
