Ready for Kom Faek 2: Checkmate?

A few more days, boys and girls, are you ready for “Kom Faek 2: Checkmate”? As for myself, I guess so. Barely watched the first one, only fast-forwarded to the cute scenes between Cheer and Cee Siwat, I never got the story, a bunch of people running around trying to impetrate Kelly Thanapat’s gang. And a whole lot of ‘kom-faek (stick)’ fighting. Por Natthawut carried that stick around everywhere, it was truly his weapon of choice.

It was a hit, so they are doing a second one. It’s a film as you lakorn with better production than the last. In terms of TV ratings, I’m sure it will do just fine.

July 20th is the premier date.

2nd Teaser.

They kept repeating “Checkmate, Checkmate”. WTH, is that all about? I felt like I was watching a commercial for the game ‘Street Fighter’ or ‘Mortal Kombat’. You know when they do their punches and kicks, they repeat a phrase.

Near the end, Por says, “In this game, I will end it myself.” Okay buddy, you do that.

Cast of “Dum Kham” goofing off

In case you didn’t know, the 4 main cast members of “Dum Kham (Tanned)” are actually really good friends. Pong met and got to know Tangmoe on the set of “Dum Kham” and they hit it off immediately, of course in a platonic way. We don’t want any rumors now.

Tangmoe feels so comfortable around her new friends from Exact that she is not shy about sharing her relationship problems with her overly possessive boyfriend Gong with Pong, Oh, and Pang while on set. Her relationship with Oh has gotten so close, Tangmoe’s boyfriend Gong even became a little worried and called Oh late one night over a text message Oh sent to Tangmoe.

Eeee..lets not do that Tangmoe! Oh my gosh, you too, Pong. Lets not do that. HAHA.

Here is the cast of “Dum Kham” on the “Wun Warn Yung Waan You” show. At the beginning of the video, Oh talks about getting an unexpected call from Tangmoe’s boyfriend Gong late one night over text messages he sent to Tangmoe. It’s pretty funny how Oh said, “He called me”. He said with such force and humor. Dude was pretty shock he got a call from Gong.
