Pancake is the ‘little bird in the golden cage’

The title for this lakorn is “Ter gap Kao lae Ruk kong Rao (You with Him and our Love)”, literally it is just that–a complicated love triangle between a rich man (‘Pete’ Puntakarn Thongjure), the rich man’s kept woman or his little nok noi (little bird) in his golden cage played by “Pancake” Khemmanid Jamikorn, and the man she loves played by ‘Pae’ Arak Amornsuppasiri to who she met in Shanghai. Her body belongs  her sugar daddy, but her heart belongs to her guy on the side, her true lover.

At Kapook, they said it will air on November 29. At the Polypus website, the production company that is producing this lakorn, it’s airing this Monday November 22. We’ll see.

Pete Thongjure returns in “A Beautiful Samurai”

We haven’t seen Pete in a while in television or films, he has been busy raising his two young daughters and being a race car driver. He returns in the upcoming Sahamongkol film “Suay…Samurai (Beautiful…Samurai, english title: the Vanquisher)”. Pete is Masaru, a Japanese samurai assassin, who is working under the CIA as a spy. He is sent to Thailand to kill the heroine of the film played by Sophita Sribanchean and to undermine the Thai government. In this film, Pete is not a pra’ek, he is one of the villains because there are several.

Famous lakorn pra’ek, Saranyu Wongkrajang has a role in this film also, he is playing a Thai rebel leader working against the CIA.

The film is set for a November 5th release and the teaser was release on youtube but was later deleted. Why? I don’t know.
