The supposed mistress and the wife

There is just way too much smut in the news, I don’t know what is fact or fiction. The latest on Pinky Savika is quite disturbing–Pinky was seen boarding a plane to Japan with “Pek” Sanchai Engtrakul (“Tanya” Tanyares Ramnarong’s husband). The media is gossiping that Pinky and Pek are having an affair. Pinky denies the claim that she is Pek’s mistress and no, she did not go with him to JAPAN. Her family was there also. Coincidentally, they met at the airport and she greeted him because they know each other.

At the launch of ‘Stefan’ Tasit Sinkanawiwat and ‘Namfon’ Kullanat Preeyawat’s health magazine “Good Health…Good Life 2010″, “Tanya” Tanyares Ramnarong came out to defend Pinky.

“That day, P’Pek went to Japan for work. He even called to tell me he was coming back the same time as Pinky. When I heard about the news, I felt indifferent because before, Pinky coincidentally met Aum (Atichart) at a shop there (in Japan) and they got close soon after. This time, people saw and they thought Pinky was having an affair. Likewise with P’Pek, he is like a ‘logo’, anyone who is near him, there is news,” Tanya explained to the reporters.

The reporters then asked Pinky how she felt to see Tanya there, Pinky said it felt fine.

“It feels fine, I have not seen her in a long time. It will give us an opportunity to clear everything. I want them to understand each other completely.”

Do you feel relieved?

Pinky:”I feel relaxed like always. I’m conducting myself normally. Before, I used to go to their shop often.”

How do you feel to have news like this?

Pinky:”I felt startled because it is a very serious news and people have been calling me to ask all sorts of questions. If it is not true, then it will end.”

Tanya felt a sense of pity for Pinky and said, “I feel for her. If anyone had a rumor with a person who had a family, it’s severe. I pity her. Whoever has a news like this, I feel sympathy for them.”

Tanya have you discuss this with Pek?

“I discuss them with him frequently that he has news. He said he is not a celebrity. Why are their so many news? (Do you think he is worried about Pinky?) He hasn’t said anything. He just said this kind of news is not good. Truthfully he is very concern about our daughter than I am. Right now, she doesn’t know anything, but what about when she gets older?”

Pinky have you talked to P’Pek? “I saw him at the airport. He’s my senior. When he sees me, he smacks my head because he sees me as a younger sibling. We saw each other and talked normally. Since I have returned, I have not talk to him because of the news.”

The interview concluded with Tanya explaining to the reporters that she is not concern because there is nothing to be concern about. If she was a person who thought too much, they would have ended their relationship a long time ago.

“Saturn 5″ is the most watched lakorn of 2009

Good god! How? Let me sum up the lakorn “Saturn 5″ for you–hot former beauty pageant queens (let me tell you, those Asian Amazon-looking chicas were tall and ‘damn you’ beautiful), tall-good looking Thai guys with guns to complement the Asian Amazon-looking chica actresses who could not act to save their lives, a lot of soldier play, and they were in the jungle most of the time. I didn’t think it was that great but apparently it is the most loved and watched lakorn of the year with an average rating of 19. 1 or an average viewership of 11.814 million viewers. Saturn 5 peaked at the rating of 25.3 (the highest for the year) with 15.715 million viewers. Wow.

There were 5 couples in “Saturn 5″, they included:

1. Eak Rungsiroj & Kwang Fahrung
2. Arnas & Marissa Anita
3. Nam Rapeepat & Grace Karnklao
4. Pai Pathit & Oun Preeyanuch
5. Note Watcharabul & Kam Gawintra

Yea, it was a big group.

Other lakorns that did well in terms of ratings on Ch7 (I think the reason why other channels were not mentioned in this article was because Ch7 dominated in terms of ratings for 2009):

‘Kom Faek: Checkmate’ starring Noon Woranuch Por Natthawut was the second watched lakorn for 2009 with an average rating of 19 or an average viewership of 11.771 million viewers. It had the highest opening ratings of the year with a rating of 19.9 or a viewership of 12.231 million viewers.

In the comedy category, “Pancake” Khemmanid Jamikorn and “Aum” Patcharapa Chaichuea dominated–Aum in “Jaew Jai Rai gub Khun Chai Taewada (Jaew the wick one and godly Chai” with Pae Arak and Pancake in “Plerng Rak Kam Pop (A love song across the globe)” with New Wongsakorn where Pancake played a country singer. It has a consistent run with an average rating of 16.4 or 10.139 million viewers. “Jaew Jai Rai” did better with a rating of 16.8 or 10.409 viewers.

Pancake’s other big lakorn “Buang Hong” had an average rating of 14. 8 or 9.160 million viewers.

Other biggies for the year included:

“Kwan” Usamanee Waitayanon and Aof Chanapol’s lakorn “Roy Ruk Roy Barp (Trace of love, Trace of Vengeance)” with an average rating of 14.5 or 8.973 million viewers, “Mia Luang (Head Wife) “with an average rating of 14.3 or 8.860 million viewers, Pinky Savika and “Weir” Sukollawat Kanaros’s lakorn “Wong Wian Hua Jai(Love Rotation or Revolving Hearts) with an average of  13.5 or 8.366 million viewers, and lastly mentioned, Pong Nawat and “Tangmoe” Pattarathida  Patcharawirapong’s romantic comedy “Dum Kam (Comically Dark)” had an average rating of 13.5 or 8.384 million viewers.

The flirt and the Indian Princess

They are denying it but do I believe it? That’s another story. Body language can say a lot, these two are more than friends. Fun Thong, Confirm! In interviews, they say they’re not a couple and the word ‘friend’ pops up a lot–”we’re just friends…heeeheee.” Oh please! Watching videos of them during interviews, you can tell something is going on–cozy standing position, giggling, and laughing like they have something to hide. I don’t think I’m seeing things others are not.

When reporters asked Mike about his budding romance with Pinky Savika, I love the fact that he opened with a joke. “Pinky and I are flirting krap pom…Oie! It’s not true (Smiles). It’s a normal thing when I invite a guest to come [to be part of his concert], it will always make news. The truth is we are friends who have news together now. We started working together and see each other more often, so people use that as a source to watch us more closely. There is nothing going on.”

There is a part in the video where the reporters are asking both Pinky and Mike whether they are single. Pinky is answering the question, “I’m single. I’m happy. Right now, I think it’s better if I do things that make me happy–nothing that will make me stress.” At this point, Mike does a ‘Mmm’ and says “Noh” to playfully agree with her.  She says ‘noh’ back to him.

Cee and Amy are fine

…according to Om Akapan. Also his friend Rangsit ”Uan” Sirananon is not the third hand in Cee Siwat and Amy Klimpatoom’s relationship. A dinner between the two have never occurred.

“Uan and myself are regulars at that restaurant. That day, we saw Amy there, Uan and I were already seated and then Amy walked over. The news that Uan is the third hand is not true. Amy and Cee have been together for a long time and they still seem very much in love, there doesn’t appear to be a problem. (In the news, it said they embraced). In the news, they embraced? From what I saw, there was none of that. (Did Amy go by herself?) This, I don’t know. I didn’t see where she came from or how she got there.”

Sarcastically I say, okay, good to know. I’m more concern about Om’s outfit in this fashion show. Om is dressed as a blue bird and is paired with Parnward Hemmanee, who is dressed like a red butterfly. Then there is Ploy Chermarn as a white butterfly with Pinky as a chirpy pink bird. Now that is amusing. The news about Amy, Uan, and Cee, somewhat dull. I’m such a poor Thai celebrity blogger, I find nothing scandalous. Haha.

Miss Ploy is totally working it.

Damn, Ploy takes her job seriously, she is looking fierce walking down that catwalk.

Who wore it best? Pinky Vs. Marsha

Pinky wore the dress on Friday to the 20th anniversary event for the King Power Group, a chain of duty free shops. Marhsa wore it on Saturday for Aom Piyada’s wedding. It’s not identical but still very similar– Marsha had the over the shoulder, shorten sleeves version while Pinky had the scoop neck, longer sleeves version.

For me, both wore it well but Marsha’s braids has got to go. She is like the adult Thai version of Heidi from the children’s novel “Heidi” not that skanky reality TV star Heidi Montag.

Mike and Pinky are just friends

Well of course, how else would she answer that question? Who was surprise…hmmm? Not I and I’m sure many of you weren’t either. The reason he (Pirat “Mike” Nitipaisalkul) was attached to her is because they had to perform together for his concert. Nothing serious. He’s a good friend and her personal cheerleader. “Whenever I have news, he would tell me don’t take it seriously. Fight! He is more of my support person. Right now, I don’t want to be with anyone. I have had enough. I’m too busy with work, I don’t want to see anyone. Plus, no one is coming into my life. I’m not coiling back (also meaning to be afraid of repeating one’s past wrongdoing). This is a small issue, a very tiny one. It has passed already, I have forgotten it. Right now, I just work…”

Then reporters started asking her about her nose. Odd. Apparently, they think Pinky has gotten a nose job. Really, I don’t see a difference. Her nose looks the same to me.

“This, you have to look at my father. My father is of Indian and Pakistani heritage that is why I have a big nose. News is just news. I didn’t do it. I have not done it. However, I have gotten thinner. I have been exercising. When you get a facial massage, it can make your face thinner. I have not done any plastic surgery nor have I ever thought of getting nose injections (you can get nose injections to heighten it? Really? I didn’t know that). I want it to be smaller because it’s BIG. It has looked like this since I was little. I’m happy with my appearance. Maybe the reason my nose appears more heighten is because when I was little my face was round. As I’ve gotten older, I’m over 20 now, my face has fully developed. Everyone knows my nose has always been prominent since I was little.”
