Mike defends Yaya over goofy pictures

Okay that is just ridiculous, I thought it was cute. What, you can’t make funny faces among friends and posted on your IG account?

Two days ago, singer and actor ‘Mike’ Pirat Nitipaisalkul posted a picture of himself with actress ‘Yaya’ Urassaya Sperbund making funny faces for the camera on his personal IG account. An anonymous Thai netizen commented that Yaya looked unattractive and her actions was not befitting of a nang’ek–a leading actress. ‘Completely used up the nang’ek image, repulsive,’ wrote the Thai netizen. People came out to complain about the comment and the antagonizing Thai netizen answered by saying, ‘I thought it through before I commented, I said ‘repulsive’ what’s wrong with that?’–this person seems like an internet troll. There seems to be a lot of that nowadays, people who make extremely critical comments to start drama online for the heck of it.

By then, Mike came out to defend Yaya: ‘By chance, I am not a short-sighted person. I have never looked at anyone from just the outside, no matter what face she makes, I think she looks pretty, please don’t think like that.’

Other Thai netizens praised Mike for being a gentleman and defending Yaya. But if you read the comments at sanook for this article, the comments are not so flattering for Yaya. Some do think Yaya acts strange, too immature like a ‘special’ person. Hey not my words.

Raak Boon will be 11 episodes

I am glad. Lakorns are freaking long as is. A prime time lakorn is 90 minutes. Shortening it is not gonna hurt. Since Ch3 is doing this, they need to do a sit down with Ch7 to encourage them to do the same.

At an attempt to not bore viewers, Margie Rasri and ‘Mike’ Pirat Nitipaisalkul horror lakorn ‘Raak Boon (The holy source)’ will be 11 episodes.

At an event reporters had asked Margie when her lakorn ‘Raak Boon’ will end, she answered: ‘it will end soon because there is only 11 episodes. The reason why is because lakorns are several hours long, we had to shorten to not bore the viewers. Editing was done to shorten (strengthen) it.’

Raak Boon has been receiving praises from viewers as being like a movie–a first for lakorns.

The Kitchen Scholar will end next week

We should be happy at least it will not drag out like most lakorns. Mark Prin and Kimberly Voltemas’s lakorn ‘Panya Chon Kon Krua (The Kitchen Scholar)’ will come to end next Sunday November 11, 2012 and will be replaced by Margie Rasri and ‘Mike’ Pirat  Nitipaisalkul’s horror lakorn ‘Raak Boon (Holy Source)’ airing on November 16, 2012.

Mike said he is excited: ‘Raak Boon will soon air–the 16th of this month. I am very excited, we ended filming not too long ago. I have no expectations, I just hope people will like it and find it enjoyable to watch.’

Raak Boon centers around a young woman named Jaytiya who owns a secretive box from the underworld and makes a bargain with the King of Hell to resolve her family’s financial situation. She given the curse of hearing the dead and the task of fulfilling their last wish.

Mike supports his gal pal Pinky

Singer and Pinky’s guy pal Pirat “Mike” Nitipaisalkul says he supports Pinky Savika regarding her scandal with Tanya Ramnarong over the leaked audio clip of Tanya arguing with Pinky’s mother over a text message allegedly sent by Pink to Tanya’s husband.

‘I am concern about her, I have known her for a long time. Though we don’t talk about every issue together; however, I know her personality to a certain degree that she is a good person and  a friendly person. As for the thing that has happened, it’ her personal business and a family issue, I rather not interfere. But I do give out my support. I told her I believed in her and she will move on from this well. The moonsoon she is facing is rather heavy. I think we need to look at her as a person with talent–she acts well, sings well, dances well, I want everyone to look at her talents,’ said Mike.

I don’t think Tanya cares for Pinky’s talents, she is still pretty upset over the whole thing and vented her frustrated on her instagram.

‘To endure it does not mean I am able to endure it.
I’m alright does not mean I can stand it.
To not speak means I rather not cry out
But I want you to know, I am going to part ways  like a lady (with class).’

The 21st Supanahongsa Awards, the Thai oscars, occurred this past Sunday 29, 2012 at the Siam Pavalai Royal Grand Theatre.

I am sorry, I needed a laugh.

Mike and Margie will be starring in a ghost horror

Together for TV scene productions for Ch3, it’s their first pairing and a first for Pirat “Mike” Nitipaisalkul as a leading man. I do look forward to it because of the new pairing between  ’Margie’ Rasri Balenciaga and Mike, then you hear the production company attach to the project and the plotline, it tumbles down into the iffy department. I am not a fan of TV scene produced lakorns, I find many of them slow and dull.

The title for the lakorn is ‘Raak Boon (Virtuous Source)’, Mike is playing the silent type pra’ek from aboard. He knows what is up but doesn’t say much. He knows his aunt is stealing from the company and all their behind the scenes issue but doesn’t say anything. He is described as a mysterious/ secretive character. Margie, his nang’ek is a girl with a sixth sense who came to work at his company. Again? Yea, again. Kik Danai is the ghost in the series.
