Mike and Margie will be starring in a ghost horror

Together for TV scene productions for Ch3, it’s their first pairing and a first for Pirat “Mike” Nitipaisalkul as a leading man. I do look forward to it because of the new pairing between  ’Margie’ Rasri Balenciaga and Mike, then you hear the production company attach to the project and the plotline, it tumbles down into the iffy department. I am not a fan of TV scene produced lakorns, I find many of them slow and dull.

The title for the lakorn is ‘Raak Boon (Virtuous Source)’, Mike is playing the silent type pra’ek from aboard. He knows what is up but doesn’t say much. He knows his aunt is stealing from the company and all their behind the scenes issue but doesn’t say anything. He is described as a mysterious/ secretive character. Margie, his nang’ek is a girl with a sixth sense who came to work at his company. Again? Yea, again. Kik Danai is the ghost in the series.

Son gets a new leading lady in Mo Monchanok

I’m liking the cast, Son Songpaison pairing up with newcomer  ‘Mo’ Monchanok Saengchaipiangpen from the teen  flick “Love Julinsee” for the upcoming CH5 lakorn ‘Likhit Fah Chata Din (Fated Heaven, Fortune, and Earth)’–not really sure of the translation. The lakorn will be directed by Pa-oon Chantornsiri (Nether Mind, Taddao Bussaya, and The Garland of 3 Men) for Exact.

For the lakorn, the male cast, Son Songpaison and pop singer Pirat “Mike” Nitipaisalkul were chosen first before the script was written. They served as inspiration for the script said director Pa-oon Chantornsiri: ‘I want to tell you frankly, I saw the actors first. Soon after, the plot was written. After that, we called both actors for an audition. I will reveal, I was speechless. They acted better than I expected, I was stunned, especially with Mike, who is very talented.’

The plot centers around Son and Mike’s characters who are related (cousins, brothers? not sure yet) and how they compete with each other for love.

Mike is not gay because Num Gunchai said so

How does it go, “pom mai dai lai jai kae mee Num Gunchai bpen idol (I’m not unfaithful, I just have Num Gunchai as my idol)”. Kids nowadays, using such a funny catchphrase. Num Gunchai is notoriously known to be the biggest playboy in all of Thailand, if he eyes you as one of his own, it makes you a playboy too and not gay. I don’t know, that is how the theory goes.

Yesterday, the singing duo Mike and Golf made an appearance on the “Ratree Samosorn” variety show to discuss their solo ventures and their gossip news.  Mike was confronted about his feminine tendencies such as applying make-up to one of his back-up dancers. It’s not manly, people are starting to assume Mike is gay. He’s not, he claims and ventured to asked Num Gunchai, one of the 4 hosts of “Ratree Samosorn”, if he was.

Mike:”Do you see me as a sao (girl or gay).”
Num:”No, every way I look at you, I don’t see it. You’re not.”
Mike smiles and adds, “so you see me as one of your own huh?”–meaning Mike is a big Casanova, a big playboy just like Num Gunchai.
Everyone starts laughing.

Mike asked Num Gunchai around the 9:20 time mark.

Aum is back with Mike and Golf

They do like Aum” Patcharapa Chaichuea with the brother duo “Mike” Pirat Nitipaisalkul and “Golf” Pichaya Nitipaisalkul, it’s like they are her best hang on accessories. What can I say about this LIPS magazine cover for the month of January 2011, it’s okay. It’s a pretty decent looking chick with two moderately looking guys, nothing new.

I do have one thing to point out,  Mr.Mike over there needs to get some sun. Nothing wrong with the Sun, young man, it’s good for you. Getting a tan makes you look healthy and alive unlike right now where you look like the walking dead.

A funny comment from a Thai netizen from pantip about his cover:

“Aum- is pretty na.

Golf- is handsome.

Mike-no comment”

haha.

Another funny comment:

“Whenever they have Golf stand next to Mike, it makes me realized that Golf is so much more better looking.”

They say Mike is like a cool Japanese manga character. What do you think?

Aum Patcharapa is the new face of Puriku tea drink

…along with Golf and Mike Nitipaisalkul, who are veteran Puriku endorsers. For the commercial and the ad photos, Aum shows off her new haircut– a classic, I see it everywhere among Asian girls nowadays. It is a  textured layered hairdo, short and heavy on top, long and straight on the bottom.

Thai netizens feel iffy about the haircut but do agree she does look youthful and pretty.

Their words:

“What? The more she ages, the prettier she gets.”

“When I came and saw the first picture, I was stunned. She is very pretty! Really.”

“Her face is very youthful- P’Aum.”

“I used to have a haircut like that, but my head turned out looking like a weaving basket. A haircut has to do with the face too. I’m jealous of people with small heads.”

“How young can you look Aummm. To compare her with the 2 young men who are almost 10 years her junior, they look like they are in the same generation.”

People, it’s call photoshop and a good surgeon. I’m not dissing her, I’m just saying. Nothing wrong with either, they do come in handy in this business.

The flirt and the Indian Princess

They are denying it but do I believe it? That’s another story. Body language can say a lot, these two are more than friends. Fun Thong, Confirm! In interviews, they say they’re not a couple and the word ‘friend’ pops up a lot–”we’re just friends…heeeheee.” Oh please! Watching videos of them during interviews, you can tell something is going on–cozy standing position, giggling, and laughing like they have something to hide. I don’t think I’m seeing things others are not.

When reporters asked Mike about his budding romance with Pinky Savika, I love the fact that he opened with a joke. “Pinky and I are flirting krap pom…Oie! It’s not true (Smiles). It’s a normal thing when I invite a guest to come [to be part of his concert], it will always make news. The truth is we are friends who have news together now. We started working together and see each other more often, so people use that as a source to watch us more closely. There is nothing going on.”

There is a part in the video where the reporters are asking both Pinky and Mike whether they are single. Pinky is answering the question, “I’m single. I’m happy. Right now, I think it’s better if I do things that make me happy–nothing that will make me stress.” At this point, Mike does a ‘Mmm’ and says “Noh” to playfully agree with her.  She says ‘noh’ back to him.
